ERP PR -- SRM SC -- ERP PO ?

Hi Gurus,
Is this possible:
Transfer ERP PR to SRM as shopping cart (no sourcing required) and get approved based on the workflow definition, then create PO in ERP system?
Best regards,
jack

Hi Masa,
Yes, that's what we expected.

  • PO Replication from SRM to ERP

    Hello,
We replicate purchase orders from SRM to ERP.  Now we would like to make all of the contract data available for reporting in BW.  Would anyone know a bit more about how purchase orders are replicated from SRM to ERP?  The name of the program that actually performs the replication would be great, but any information would be appreciated.

    Hi Larry,
You can transfer you purchase orders based on your product categories and purchasing group and purchasing organsiations and their setting in SRM and ERP.
To do that before you need to replicate Products, Product categories from ERP to SRM then you can transfer your PO from SRM to ERP.
    see the link below.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_srm50/helpdata/en/5e/88ef3bc8821d0de10000000a114084/frameset.htm
If you already done replication you need to maintain a purchasing group which will handle all the requirements that are to be transferred to ERP from SRM.
This Purchasing group should also be part of  Organsiation structure in ERP.

  • POR not transfering from SRM to ERP

    Hi Experts,
We are working with extended classic scenario on SRM 7.0 & ERP EHP4.
We are creating POR manually in SRM and also recieving POR from SUS system.
When we accept the POR it is not updating the ERP.
We have enabled the PI scenario for transfering POR from SRM to ERP by using the Proxy and IDOC(ORDRSP) but the XML is not generated when the POR is accepted.
Can any one help me how to transfer the POR created in SRM to ERP.
Is there any way we can generate XML message of POR with status Accepted.
    Regards,
    B.N.Karthikeyan

    Hi,
I have tried this define event option.
Still XML not generated for POR.

  • SRM 7 - Contract replication from ERP to SRM

    Hi all,
We have SRM 7 and ECC 6.0 and we have a requirement to have contract handling for invoices functionality, in SRM, in order to create invoices with reference to a contract directly.
We want to have ERP system as the central repository for all contracts, meaning that we need to replicate the contracts to SRM, and all the changes made to the contract in ERP side should also be replicated to SRM.
Does anyone know if this scenario can be done as per standard?  And if so, how can we replicate the ERP contracts to SRM and ensure that all the changes made in ERP will be replicated to SRM?
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    AN

    Dear Krupa,
Thank you for your quick reply.
So we should consider the scenario where SRM is the central repository for the contracts, and all the changes done in SRM should be replicated to ERP.
In this scenario, do you know which steps should be done to allow contract replication from SRM to ERP? I already created a central contract in SRM but there is no message sent to PI.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Internal use flag of attachment in SRM and ERP

    Hi
In SRM RFx bid document, when i attach file and checked internal flag for the attachment,
how does it behave in ERP system? does ERP has option for internal use?
Currently i using Content server and storing file attachment in Document type SRM.
Where can i confirm the internal flag is checked for the document in ERP.
Looks like SRM has internal use option and ERP does not have internal use option at DMS screen CV01n
    or document screen
    Pls advice
    Regards
    Chandra

Where can i confirm the internal flag is checked for the document in ERP.
As far as I understand, ECC RFQ does not have attachment capability. Where would you want the RFx in SRM and its attachments to flow in ECC?
If you are talking about follow-on documents of an SRM RFx, such as PO/CTR to be replicated in ECC, then no, ECC attachment does not have "internal" flag. Such flag is only in SRM to indicate the visibility of an attachment to the purchasing company and vendors. If "internal" is set, the document is invisible to the vendors/suppliers.

Master Data Synchronization in mySAP ERP
    Purpose
In order for the Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) application to run as add-on in a mySAP ERP environment, it is necessary to synchronize master data objects within this platform, that are similar from a business point of view, yet technically different.
Master data objects on ERP and SRM side that need to be synchronized
    ERP (SAP ECC*)
    Corresponding object in SRM
    Vendor
    Business partner
    Material/service
    Product
    Material type/service type
    Product category
    ECC: Enterprise Core Component
    Integration
Master data synchronization in ERP is carried out centrally.
For more information, see: Master Data Synchronization
Once you have set up master data synchronization for your objects using the Synchronization Cockpit, and after initial data synchronization and key mapping has been completed, delta reports that run in the background ensure that master data is always matched.
The individual configuration steps are described in the IMG:
Supplier Relationship Management  ®  SRM Server  ®  Master Data ®  Master Data Synchronization in mySAP ERP (One Client)
    Features
This function ensures that changes (create, change, delete) that are made to objects on one side cause immediate (bidirectional) update to the same objects on the other side. In this way, SRM and ECC data is permanently synchronized.
    ·         Purchasing organizations are not included in the automatic bidirectional master data synchronization and, as is also the case with mySAP SRM, have to be matched manually or via an update report (ECC -> SRM).
Replication (and the updates) from plant (MM) to business partner location (SRM) only occurs in one direction with the report BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_FROM_SYSTEM that is executed manually.
    ·         Where SAP Supplier Self-Services (SUS) runs together with mySAP SRM on one ERP platform, master data synchronization occurs as described above. If SUS runs separately of ERP, SAP NetWeaver XI is used to synchronize master data with SRM.
    Master Data Synchronization
    Purpose
Master data synchronization synchronizes master data objects in an SAP system that are similar from a business, but not from a technical, point of view, and in this way allows you to integrate different SAP applications seamlessly in your business processes.
You can use master data synchronization, for example, to set up integration of the SAP Business Partner with the customer master. This allows you to integrate SAP applications that make technical use of the Business Partner in their user interface, and use the customer master as a technical basis in subsequent business processes.
    Implementation Considerations
In order to be able to use master data synchronization, you must have defined and activated Synchronization Control as well as Customer/Vendor Integration and/or Material/Service Integration in Customizing of the Cross-Application Components under Master Data Synchronization.
Pay attention to the following note on master data synchronization terminology:
The paired terms, customer/debtor and supplier/creditor/vendor, are used with the same meaning in master data synchronization, and one term can be substituted synonymously when the documentation is read.
    Integration
Master data synchronization is based in particular on the two master data objects SAP Business Partner and SAP Product, and makes it possible for the following synchronization processes, among others, to be carried out:
    ·        Synchronization of the business partner with the customer/debtor master
    ·        Synchronization of the business partner with the supplier/creditor master
    ·        Synchronization of the product with the material master
    ·        Synchronization of the product with the service master
For a complete list of all synchronization processes that are defined and active in an SAP system, see the synchronization cockpit under Synchronization Processes.
Master data synchronization replaces the current technical solutions for Customer/Vendor Integration and complements some business processes that are based on integration between the product master and the material or service master (Material/Service Integration).
Master data synchronization also has an effect on the archiving processes of the master data objects business partner/customer master /vendor master and product/material master /service master.
For more information on activating/deactivating synchronization processes, see the IMG of the Cross-Application Components under Master Data Synchronization ® Synchronization Control.
    Features
    Synchronization Directions
A synchronization process is always defined as a one-way synchronization between a source object type and a target object type, meaning that the synchronization is only ever active in one direction, from the source object type to the target object type. If the data of an object instance of the source object type is changed, the corresponding data in the corresponding object instance of the target object type is changed at the same time. Both synchronization directions must be activated in the SAP system in order to allow the undirected synchronization of two master data object types.
    Synchronization Scenarios
There are two synchronization scenarios in master data synchronization:
    ·        Synchronization from the master data maintenance
When you create and save new master data, the system carries out initial synchronization with the master data object types for which synchronization processes have been activated in the SAP system, and creates the corresponding master data.
If you change existing master data that has already been synchronized, the system locks this master data, and all the corresponding master data of the source object type and the target object type during maintenance. When you save the changed master data, the system generally carries out a delta synchronization with the master data object types for which synchronization processes have been activated in the SAP system, and changes the corresponding master data. In some cases, changing existing master data can lead to a delta synchronization having to be carried out.
    ·        Synchronization using the synchronization cockpit
You use the synchronization cockpit to prepare, perform and check the initial synchronization of master data objects in an SAP system.
    Constraints
Master data synchronization can neither synchronize master data objects across systems, nor can it transfer master data objects from external or legacy systems. You can use the SAP external data transfer to transfer legacy or external data.
    Synchronization Cockpit
    Definition
User interface for master data synchronization in an SAP system.
    Use
Using the synchronization cockpit, you can carry out all the steps for master data synchronization in an SAP system These are as follows:
    ·        Customizing synchronization
    ·        Selection, preparation and starting of synchronization runs.
    ·        Monitoring of synchronization runs
    ·        Postprocessingof synchronization errors
    ·        You can start the synchronization cockpit in Customizing of the Cross-Application Components under Master Data Synchronization ® Synchronization of Mass Data ® Execute Synchronization Cockpit.
Before you can work with the synchronization cockpit, the following prerequisites must be fulfilled:
    ·        There are data records for at least one source object in the SAP system.
    ·        You are authorized to carry out synchronization.
    ·        You are authorized to start the Postprocessing Office (PPO).
    ·        You have carried out the Customizing of the master data synchronization.
    ·        You have carried out the general Customizing for the PPO.
For more information, see the Implementation Guide (IMG) of the Cross Application Components under General Application Functions ® Postprocessing Office.
    ·        You have activated the writing of PPO orders for the master data objects in Customizing of the master data synchronization.
For more information see the Implementation Guide (IMG) of the Cross-Application Components under Master Data Synchronization ® Synchronization Control ® Activate PPO Orders for Platform Objects in the Dialog.
    Structure
The synchronization cockpit is divided into three work areas:
    ·        Synchronization processes work area
This work area contains a list of the synchronization processes. The list displays only the active synchronization processes, or all the synchronization processes. You can change between the two views at any time.
    ·        Customizing synchronization work area
This work area contains an overview of all the reports that you can use for the Customizing synchronization.
    ·        Synchronization work area
This work area contains the tab pages Processing and Monitor, which you can use to prepare or monitor synchronization runs.
    Integration
The Postprocessing Office (PPO) is integrated in the synchronization cockpit, so that it can be used to postprocess synchronization errors. If the PPO has not been activated, the synchronization cockpit does not start synchronization in the case of an error, and issues the relevant error message.

  • Integration between SRM and ERP in part of Business Partners

    Hi all
Could we make integration between SRM and ERP in part of Business Partners if we use Standalone Scenario? Thanks

    Hi
Any scenario, You have EBP system as well as you said you have ERP system too. so you can do BBPGETVD and pull the vendor records. Normally standalone system may not have ERP system. In standalone Your account payable system integrated with your EBP system.
If you want to create a vendors locally in SRM  you can create local vendors via web  BBPMAININT or BP in GUI.

  • Remove RFC calls between SRM and ERP

    Hi,
Did any of you ever worked on removing RFC calls between SRM and ERP systems?
Does SAP maintains a lost of these built-in RFC calls?
What are the known constraints to replace them by webservice calls ?
    Thanks
    Yann

    Hi Yann,
There is nothing on the SAP database for SRM and the backend using webservice.
There is for connections to SRM catalog.
I haven't heard anything about plans to change this.
    Hope this helps,

  • Sending PO with attachment from SRM to ERP

    Hi Experts,
My requirement is to Send PO with attachment from SRM to ERP.
I can get the attachment in the payload as mentioned in https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/3509. [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken]
But how to post this attachment into the target ERP system so that it gets saved as an attachment in the Purchase Order.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Shobhit

    Hi Shobhit,
I asume, the PO is send as an IDOC to ERP?
In this case, you have no chance to attach the attachment.
A wortkaoud would be to extract the needed date from the attachment and map the values into correcponding fields of the PO-Idoc.

  • ERP 2005 and SAP ERP 6.0 are same

    Hi friends,
First of all why i have asked ERP 2005 and SAP ERP 6.0 are same or not because i am creating a new system under transaction solution_manager in the solman system for the installation of the EHP4 packs.
The problem here is when i create a new system for SAP ERP, the product version that is displayed is SAP ERP 2005, my system doesn't show SAP ERP 6.0, will that make much difference.
IsSAPERP 2005 and SAP ERP 6.0 are same.
    thanks.
    anurop

    > I am not getting the option SAP ERP 6.0 but i am getting only SAP ERP 2005 , is there  any other way i can get SAP ERP 6.0 or can i leave it as it as SAP ERP 2005 and start downloading the EHP4 packs thorugh the Solution manager.
The given note contains a step-by-step configuration how to change that - including a PDF as attachment with screenshots.
You need at least SolMan SP17 to get EHP4.

  • Show ERP Sales order adn ERP Quotes in Interaction History

    Hi ,
I have a requirement to be able to search for the ERP sales orders and ERP quotes created via CRM 70 IC.
When I create ERP Sales order and ERP quote they do tie up to the Interaction record, but when I try search for the same using the Sales order and Quotes search category in the Interaction history, I donu2019t see any results.
Has anyone done this before in any assignments before? If yes can please throw some light on how you handled it.
Is development required compulsory for this requirement to be fulfilled?
    Thanks,
    Ravi

There are some limitations using ERP sales orders (there is a decent OSS note that i don't recall the number)
Do your ECC orders replicate back to CRM????
IN IMG t-code CRMC_IC_AUI_MAINCAT for the inbox search yuo can set the search to be ERPORDER (means inbox will search in ECC for the document type)  where ONEORDER is searching CRM for the document.

  • Financial newby: Combining SAP SRM and ERP Financial Accounting

    Hello,
Looking for an Invoice Management System expert. I would like to know the following two things.
    1. On posting an 'incomming invoice' (with reference to a PO) in SRM this Invoice will be replicated to the R/3 back-end system. The back-end will and should use this invoice to follow-up the financial administrative process, how do they go about on this. The purchase order and Invoice will be posted to f.e. G/L 'Sources, with tax 19%'. What transaction do financial administrators use to book/post bank/liquid asset changes against these invoices?
    2. Up on creating a credit memo, for example for 1 of the 2 line items that wern't delivered but where initially invoiced, do we need to create a Credit Memo in SRM with negative amounts or does the Credit Memo with positive amounts suffice. It will always be used as credit, positive doesn't mean it's debit? (I think credit memo's in SRM work almost the same as Credit Memo's in R/3)
    Kind regards,
    Tim

    Dear all,
I answer my request, as nobody is talking about this subject.
    I passed the CO certification
SAP Certified Application Associate - Management Accounting (CO) with SAP ERP 6.0 EhP6
and succeed without having SAP training, i've 4 years of SAP FICO experiences and 1 year of auditing, accounting experience.
All i've to say is to read and study many times  SAP documentation but be carreful as CO change with planning in the new ledgers and CO report, take the most updated training documentation.
My advice is to work hardly every day, even with the help of SAP training , you've to work hard, the training is just making it easy for you.
    Good luck.

  • External requirements from ERP to SRM with ExtendedClassic scenario for PPS

    Hi all,
We are having SRM 7.01 system with ERP ehp4, and we have to do PPS ( Public sector Procurement) as part of our implementation, for that we need to activate Extended classic Scenario.
My question is whether we can have external requirements ( Material PR and Service PR) from ERP can be processed in the srm system.
    Please help.
    Regards,
    Raju

    Hi
We can use either the CPPR functionality which requires PI/XI to be in place or maintaining the T160PR and T160EX tables in ECC and running the report BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER to push the PR's into SRM. In SRM we have to maintain the entry channel to bring the PR's into SOCO.
