ERR_WIS_30280 error in Infoview

A user of Infoview was unable to load any reports, getting the following error:
The Web Intelligence server memory is full. Please log off and try to connect later. If the problem persists, contact your Business Objects administrator. (Error: ERR_WIS_30280)
We've cleared the problem by re-starting the BOXI server but are concerend as to why this happened.
Anyone any ideas?

Thanks for the tip.
We use BO X1 R2 with Designer 11.5.0.
On the Universe connection there is Array Fetch Size, Array Bind Size and the Binary Slice Size. Is it these that you can use to restrict the number of rows returned?
Under the CMC > Servers > Web Intelligence Report Server there is also Maximum Binary File Size. We've increased that in the past to allow users to run a large report.

  • 404 missing page error in infoview

After logging in to infoview, the user gets a 404 missing page error in infoview when they try to schedule a report. Can you please let me know if the source for this error is a firewall issue?
    Thanks.

We have tried clearing out cache. That did not help. I will check on browser version. Also have few more users unable to schedule. Permissions are okay. They ran one report on the schedule and it completed. But when they scheduled 10 reports to run on one server group which has one adaptive job server and one webi server, the reports did not run. They were scheduled in 30 minute intervals to run starting 12 in the night. All failed immediatly - my take on this is at least the first one should have run since theere was a 3o minute ineterval between that one and the second report. (But it ran during the day when scheduled to run)
Got a Unexpected exception caught. Reason: [java.lang.NullPointerException: i_statusInfo is null.] error. Usually that error is a memory error, right? Even if it was , not sure why the first one did not run. I had scheduling issues on another webiserver as well and I also have a trace log for that server. Looks like attachments cannot be uploaded. Can be it emailed to you?

  • Crystal Report Using ECC Data has Auth error in Infoview

We've created a Crystal report that successfully accesses ECC data from a function module in our Dev environment when the report is executed from within Crystal Designer.  When we try to execute the same report against the same development ECC system from within InfoView we get the following error:
ERROR: The Database Logon Information for this report is either incomplete or incorrect.
The connection information is the same as it is in designer. We are able to successfully run Crystal Reports over BW data within InfoView. Any ideas about what might be wrong?
    Doug

    Ingo,
The consumers of the report do have ECC access for order and inventory management so licensing should not be an issue.
We were able to resolve the issue. The problem was with our version of SAP GUI on the BO Dev server.
We had to update our u201CServices.dllu201D and our u201CSAPLogonTree.xmlu201D file with an accurate version.  Once that was done, the report executed as expected in InfoView using LDAP.
    Thanks,
    Doug

  • Crystal Reports Server XI error in Infoview

We have an old Windows 2000 server that was running Crystal Reports Server XI (not R2) and we recently reinstalled it on a Windows 2003 server and imported all the reports.  All scheduled reports work find however in Infoview if we click View Latest Instance I get the following error:
"An error has occurred: File or assembly name CrystalDecisions.Enterprise.Desktop.Word, or one of its dependencies, was not found."
In the Application Event log on the server I get the following 3 errors at the same time.
"Failed to connect to server. Error: 0x80070005"
"Detection of product '{5A5C2A47-52AC-4715-9A6C-E4433B2DDDEF}', feature 'DotNETSDK' failed during request for component '{90C1F7A4-6DFD-4F1F-A5D2-923F04D9D77B}'"

it looks like a permissions issue.  Has anyone seen this before?

  • Error launching Infoview on Windows 2003 R2 SP2 64 bits

    In our Lab, just installed BO XI 3.1 on a Windows 2003 R2 SP2 32 bits AND a Windows 2003 R2 SP2 64 bits servers.
When launching Infoview on the 64 bits server, I get the following error message:
    Server Error in '/InfoViewApp' Application
    Runtime Error
Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this applicationprevent the details of the application error from being viewed.
Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on the local server machine, please create <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application....
I did modify the web.config file for the tag: <customErrors mode="RemoteOnly"/>
When accessing Infoview after the change, I get:
    Server Error in '/InfoViewApp' Application
Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSI {E063B04A-CB8B-460E-99D0-F7D8FA2FAAA2} failed due to the following error: 80040154
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Pleas review the stack trace....
I don't have any problems accessing Infoview on my 32 bits server. Same installation procedure.
I uninstalled BO on my 64 bits server and reinstalled without solving my problem.
Any ideas or experience with 64 bits envir.?
Thanks for any advice, suggestions. Wondering if I should just be going with 32 bits but we're trying to go with as many 64 bits servers in the field.
    Regards

    Denis,
You pointed me in the right direction. Found something in the DB knowledge of  SAP (with some patience..).
I'm not too sure if it's the article ID but here's what show up next to the title: 1326978
    Mainly, here's the solution:
    Symptom
How to configure XI 3.1 with Win2003 64-bit using IIS
When navigating to InfoView, user receives "Server Error" message.
Server Error in '/businessobjects/Enterprise115/InfoView' Application.  -- displayed for XIR2
Server Error in '/InfoViewApp/ Application.  -- displayed for XI 3.x
    Reproducing the Issue
Issue could occur in any 32-bit version of XI (XIR2 and XI 3.x) that supports 64 bit windows 2003 operating systems
    Cause
While newer versions of XIR2 and XI 3.x are supported on 64 bit OS's they do not currently support 64 bit .net
    Resolution
XI 3.1 is a 32-bit application and InfoView/CMC cannot run while IIS is in 64-bit mode.  In addition, IIS cannot run in both 32-bit and 64-bit modes simultaneously.  Follow these steps to change IIS to run in 32-bit mode and unregister/register the correct IIS app pools.
Open the windows command prompt and do the following:
    To disable 64-bit .NET 2.0:
    cd C:\windows\microsoft.net\Framework64\v2.0.50727
    aspnet_regiis /u
To enable IIS to run in 32-bit mode:
    cd C:\Inetpub\AdminScripts
    cscript adsutil.vbs SET W3SVC/AppPools/Enable32bitAppOnWin64 1
    To enable 32-bit .NET 2.0:
    cd \WINDOWS\microsoft.net\Framework\v2.0.50727
    aspnet_regiis /i
In IIS manager under Web Service Extensions:
ASP.NET v2.0.50727 (32-bit) (The new one that appeared when you enabled 32-bit .NET 2.0) Set  to Allow.
ASP.NET v2.0.50727 (the 64-bit version that has been there since you installed .NET 2.0 framework) If it is still listed, Set to Prohibit.
Restart IIS (via Windows command prompt)
    iisreset
I am now able to get to the login screen of InfoView but I'm missing the type of authentication field (Enterprise, Windows AD)
I'll take a look early tomorrow.
    Thanks again.
    Jay

  • BOXI 3.0 Selecting "parameters" when rescheduling returns error in InfoView

    All,
Fresh installation of BOXI 3.0 and application of FP2. SQL Server Express 2005 BOXI database. Default TomCat web.
Installation had no problems. Used the import wizard to import a couple of reports from previous BOXIR1 system.
I go into InfoView and "schedule" a report. I set the parameters (static, from a combobox) etc... the report runs fine. I can open the report. Everything seems normal and functional to this point.
Then I select the report again, and opt to "reschedule" from the list of actions. This opens the "Instance Title" screen as it should. However, when I then select "parameters" I get the following error :
    "An error has occurred: $Proxy4"
This is our second installation of BOXI 3.0 - the first acted the same but resulted in a $Proxy5 error.
    What does this mean?
    Thanks!
    Rob

    ADAPT01113079
In Infoview schedule the report to pdf format, and once it goes to success.
Click on the reschedule option and then click on the parameter option.
The error "An error has occurred:$Proxy4" will be thrown.
    Target Fix: XI 3.0 FP1
    Workaround: No
There was a bug in 3.0 that was fixed in FP1 that seems to match your symptoms. You can try installing FP1. If that doesn't resolve then I'd suggest openinjg a message with support so they can verify your workflow.

  • AD Authentication error from Infoview - BO XI R2

We have installed BO XI R2 in a Windows 2003 Enterprise R2 environment, Our CMS is in one server and the Web Application Server is in another server in Windows 2003 Server using IIS as the web server.  We configured the CMC to use windows authentication and we were successfully logged in using the AD users from the admin panel and also in the infoview.  Then we did a CMS migration to a new database(oracle) and we were able to retain the settings, now we are able to login to the CMC using the AD Users and the Enterprise Admin, but when we try to login to the infoview using the AD users we get an error "Plugin Windows AD does not exist.", but an enterprise user can login to the infoview and proceed with all the activities.  But previously before migration we were able to login using the AD users in the infoview also.
Is there any solution for the Plugin for Windows AD?  We need a quick solution for this, so that we can go live in the production environment.

If you have moved to a new domain you may have a catch 22.
In order to remove groups the currently used account will need to communicate with AD and the old domain (or else the groups will not remove). If the group will not remove when you attempt to change the account to the new domain the plugin will attempt to verify the old groups and fail. Is the old domain completely unreachable? If so then the only options will be to either
    A) reset the CMS DB (setting everything back to default and deleting all data from the system) or
    B) hacking the CMS DB to delete the object ID of the AD plugin (this is not supported and could result in a non working AD plugin going forward. This will delete all AD groups and is not documented. Essentially you have to use query builder to lookup the si_id of the secwinad plugin then access your CMS DB directly and delete the objectId with that #

  • Meet an error in InfoView when CR Server in Windows and Websphere in Linux.

    Hi Expert,
I installed the Crystal Reports Server  XI R2 in Windows 2003, and deployed the desktop.war and other war files on Websphere 6.1 in linux.
And in InfoView through Websphere to view a report with parameter that connect to Oracle, after input the parameter value to click on the OK button, there would pop up an error: " Ln 1 Col 1818: Expected end of tag 'Name' "
    Below are the narrow down:
    1. the InfoView through Tomcat would be OK, can view the report correctly.
    2. If the report without parameter, also can view the report correctly.
    3. The problem should not be caused by the Oracle database;
    4.
you can find the trace from websphere in the attachment.
Thanks very much for any help,
    Rongliang

Here is the trace from websphere, thanks.

  • Using parameter fields gives an error in InfoView asking for prompting1.htm

    Hi,
We have a number of Crystal Reports available to staff online via InfoView. The majority of these reports work fine. However, where the report uses a parameter field and allows the user to select certain criteria an error box appears looking for a html page called prompting1. It is looking for the html page in the CrystalReportViewer folder within the Temp folder. Having looked in the folder there is no such html page. I have created a blank prompting1.html but then the when the report is refreshed, it prompts for prompting2.html. When run using the client software the report runs as it should with no error message.Has anyone else come accross a similar problem?
    Thanks in advance

  • Error accessing Infoview and web-based Administration Console

    Post Author: rsir
    CA Forum: WebIntelligence Reporting
After installing Business Objects 6.5.1 with SP3 in a single server as a primary node, everything works fine, except for the InfoView (wiasp) interface and the web/based administration interface (wiadmin). We've investigated in the BusinessObjects support site and in many forums about the problem and tried every single possible solution in order to correct the problem, without success.
The system we're working on is this:
Server model: Hewlett-Packard BLADE series BL 460C
    OS: Windows 2003 SP1
    Web Server platform: IIS6
What happens is that when we try to log in to infoview in the welcome screen, the url changes to:
    http://(servername)/wiasp/scripts/login/webiStart.asp
And it displays the "The page cannot be displayed" error.
Also, when trying to log in to the web-based administration console (the client version works fine), it displays this error:
"The system is not started (Error: ADC 00071)"
We've tryed enabling parent paths in the IIS, redeploying the cluster node throught the configuration tool, checking the web extensions to be allowed, etc. without success.
Thank you very much in advace for any help.

  • Error in InfoView "The Parameter Value is not Valid"

    Hello,
I have developed a Crystal Report in CR2008 and uploaded in the InfoView. Now when i run the report via scheduling or load the report with the data and try to change the parameter (editable set in CR) from the drop down list and hit apply i get an error dialogue box "The parameter value is not valid" and message says "null".
Also another issue is that i cannot execute the report directly in InfoVIew, i have to schedule it to run the report. Report is connected to the SAP InfoSet.
Any input would be much appreciated.
    Thanks.

We have rebuild new servers for InfoVIew and it just works fine. Both the problem solved.

  • Error in Infoview while viewing a report

Using Crystal Reports Server XI R2 with SP4 on Windows
When I try to view a report I get the following error
Failed to retrieve initial report values. For example, the database information for this report could be incomplete or incorrect. This is a configuration problem. Please contact your system administrator.
However I can successfully schedule and view the output of the report. It is just the on-demand view that is not working.

    Lawrence

  • Getting Error in Infoview while using Date Range Filter in SAP BW Universe

    Hi,
I have created a date range Filter in My Universe
    <FILTER KEY= "@Select(Debit Memo Date\L01 Debit Memo Date)">
    <CONDITION OPERATORCONDITION= "Between">
    <CONSTANT CAPTION= "[ZFDAY_MTH].[LEVEL01]"/>
    <CONSTANT CAPTION= "[ZCBDATE].[LEVEL01]"/> </CONDITION></FILTER>
It was Parsed "OK" without any errors.
When I used this filter in my report it does not return any records, while there are some records which I had verified earlier. When I include the two fields "[ZFDAY_MTH].[LEVEL01] and "[ZCBDATE].[LEVEL01] in My Report with the filter I am getting the following error -
A database error occured. The database error text is: A pointer intended for use is NULL. pConstantOperand is NULL in SAPSQLExpressionEvaluator::getOperandsFromCondition, exception raised at line 125 of file source/sofasqlexpressionevaluatorbase.cpp. (WIS 10901)
If I remove the filter and run the report , it gives me the expected results.
Please help me if anyone has faced this issue earlier.
    Thanks ,
    Pankaj Goswami

    Hi,
    How about using this code.
I have not tested but I think if we follow this syntax pattern, it might work
    <FILTER KEY="[Debit Memo Date\L01 Debit Memo Date].[LEVEL01].[TECH_NAME]"><CONDITION OPERATORCONDITION="Between"><CONSTANT TECH_NAME="@select(ZFDAY_MTH.LEVEL01','D',,mono,free)"/><CONSTANT TECH_NAME="@select(ZCBDATE.LEVEL01','D',,mono,free)"/></CONDITION></FILTER>
