ErrDisable at SFP Interface between C3750 with C3560
Hello,
Requirement: connecting 2 lan switches with SFP cable.
The LAN Switches to be connected are: C3560-24TS+2SFP with C3750-24TS+2SFP
Cable SFP: CAB-SFP-50CM-cable
when the installation is done, the error show up in the SFP interface, as below:
Port Name Status Vlan Duplex Speed Type
Gi1/0/1 err-disabled 1 auto auto unknown
Test_Switch#sh interfaces status err-disabled
suspected err is from the cable, which is not working for both lan switch.
Port Name Status Reason
Gi1/0/1 err-disabled gbic-invalid
Question: what type of cabling is suitable/compatible to be used for connecting 2 different types of lan switches?
Run the errdisable recovery but not help much.

As I understand it, you can only use that cable with 3560s:

First of all the Alesis 8.0 is a usb audio interface so you already have a interface. Next you could go from the Roland into the Alesis into the Mac. You could also go from the Roland headphone or line out into the Mac Pro audio input. And depending on what Roland keyboard you have, you may be able to use Midi (usb) and use the Macs Midi voices.

ASA etherchannels with RJ45/SFP interfaces
Hello.
I have an ASA 5550 running asa913-k8.bin. I'm trying to configure 2 of the ASA interfaces in an etherchannel to connect to a VSS switch.
This works fine when I'm using the first 4 RJ45 interfaces on the ASA (Gi0/0 to Gi0/3). When I try and add any of the RJ45/SFP interfaces (Gi1/0 to Gi1/3)to an etherchannel, the "channel-group" command is unavailable.
Is it possible to add one of the SFP module interfaces on a 5550 into an etherchannel - i;ve tried specifying the correct media-type but the channel-group command still isn't available.

this states that the interfaces on the 4GE SSM ASA module (interfaces Gi1/0 to Gi1/3) doesn't support etherchannelHi,
You would not be able to use any interface on Slot 1 for etherchannel as documented in the configuration guide:-
Note You cannot use interfaces on the 4GE SSM, including the integrated 4GE SSM in slot 1 on the ASA 5550, as part of an EtherChannel.

HI All,
I have a Problem with Romming Between SSIDs withing the same WLC but with deferent VLAN . the WLC are providing the HQ and one of the Branches the Wireless services .
Am using all the available 9 SSIDs at the HQ , and am using only 4 of it at the Brnche.
The problem that i have are happening only at the Branch office as i cant room between the SSIDs within Diferent VLANs but i can do it with the one that pointing to the same VLAN. Once the client ( Laptop/Phone ) connected to one of the SSIDs. it imposiible to have him connected to the other ones with Different VLAN. meanwhile, It says its connected to the other SSID but its not getting IP from that pool.
here is the Show Run-Config from my WLC .. and the Problem happening between the SSID AMOBILE and ASTAFF. i have the Debug while am switching between the SSIDs if needed .

Tx Power Level 4 ..........Well you need to understand the behavior of h-reap or what it's called now, FlexConnect. In this mode, the clients are still remembers on the WLC until the session timer/idle timer expires. So switching between SSID's in h-reap will not be the same when switching when the AP's are in local mode.
Take a look at the client when connected in FlexConnect in the WLC GUI monitor tab. Thus will show you what ssid and vlan the client is on. Now switch to a different ssid and compare this. It's probably the same because the client has not timed out. Now go back to the other ssid and look again. Now on the WLC, remove or delete the client and then switch to the other ssid at the same time. Or switch SSID's and then remove the client. The client will join the new ssid and in the monitor tab, you should see the info.
There is no need to have clients have multiple SSID's unless your testing. Devices should only have one ssid profile configured to eliminate any connectivity issues from the device wanting to switch SSID's.

Is there an audio interface for Imac with Leopard???
Hi Guys,
Im new here. Just got my IMac 24" 2.8ghz 10.5.1 Leopard last week. I love everything about it but Im having a real hard time finding an audio interface to use with Garageband. I tried the M-Audio Firewire Solo...found out quick it is not compatible. So I figure what the ** i'll downgrade and go with the M-Audio Mobilepre USB audio interface...usb, no fuss no muss right...WRONG! It doesnt work either! I tried downloading the most current driver from M-audio's website but still no go. I guess Leopard and intel machines are hard to please. Also the audio interface has to have phantom power to run a condensor mic. So my questions to you guys is this:
1. Are there any other audio interface options out there with phantom power for $200 or less that will run with my Imac ?
2. If not, why in the ** would Apple design a machine with Garageband then not set it up to accept any reasonably priced audio interface currently on the market? Tell me Im just uninformed...say it isnt so!
Sorry if it sounds like Im aggravated...I am! I had hoped to get some recording time in this weekend but its looking doubtful now.

Could you be a little more specific about what you mean
by "not compatible" -- is it a lack of Leopard drivers,

I haven't fiddled with GarageBand, but I have been using
[M-Audio's Fast Track Pro|http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/FastTrackPro-main.html] with audacity, and it seems to
work OK. (My beta-release ov audacity has some stability
problems, but I don't think they're M-Audio-related.)
Did you check M-Audio's web site for Leopard-compatible
drivers? The one for Fast Track Pro wasn't released 'til
mid December, if I remember correctly.
Although firewire is probably technically superior, I
went with USB to avoid conflicts between the audio box
and my Firewire external HD. There have been too many
reports of flakey operation with iMac firewire drivers.
I like the Fast Track Pro, but I'm not sure it would
be my first choice if I had it to do over. It's main
drawback is that it's USB 1.1 -- so, there are some
tradeoffs in the number of simultaneous I/O channels
versus data rate and resolution.
I've listed a few other USB options worth exploring
below -- I believe they all have phantom power:

Scenario for interface between a non sap system and a SAP erp
Hello,
I need some help in order to elaborate a interface between a SAP ERP and a non-sap system with the help of a XI system.
- At first regarding the interface from the non sap system and a SAP ERP :
the non sap system sends a flat file to the XI system. The flat file contains a row with header data and rows with item data. We were thinking when the file arrives to the XI system, to save the data in a header database and in a items database in XI. is it possible ?
And then to have like a job that reads the database and creates idoc and sends them to the SAP erp and updates the xi header and items database with a flag that means that the records have been sent to the SAP erp.
- Regarding the interface SAP erp to non SAP system:
the SAP erp sends idoc to XI. Then the idocs are transformed into flat file.
Is this scenario possible ?
Do we need any adaptator between the non sap system and the XI ?

Idoc doesnot support synchronous call. So you can use either proxy or function module and inturn call the idoc from them and send response back to xi. You need to have two scenarios for your design.
Scenario1: Source File (file adapter) -- xi -- Dump into database tables (Jdbc Adapter)
Scenrio2: Pickup form Database tables (Jdbc Adapter) -- xi -- RFC Adapter ---> This is synchronous call.
Regarding the interface SAP erp to non SAP system
You can send idoc to xi and from there use File adapter to send to the receiving system.

the selection of IDOC depends upon what you wanna post into SD.get in touch with the ABAP guys and they should be able to tell u exactly which IDOC to use.
once u have decided on IDOC,you can go for a File to IDOC scenario.
as far as proxies are concerned,they kinda give better performance compared to IDOC but you need to do ABAP coding for them,in that case u dont need any IDOC

The interface is mainly through the LEWM movement type configuration. You need to define the Interim storage type and movement types required to sales process prior to that.
After you are done with the above settings, then you can configure for the 2 step picking. If you need it.

Interface between ABAP and Excel-report

I need to implement a BAdI (CRM_MKTTG_SEG_MEM_EX) for displaying an aggregated BW field in the CRM Segment Builder. However my programmer knows little about the interface between ABAP an Excel. He therefore struggles with the programming. Have anyone of you any suggestions for how he can call a field in a query. Has anyone used this BAdI for the same purpose?

Interface between Mysql to SAP
Hi all,
I have to develop an interface between SAP to Mysql. Please suggest your ideas.
Requirement: There is a machine called Acelli with Mysql database. We have a custom transaction in SAP, where user will select a line in table cotrol and click on a button. Here the selected data should be transfered to Acelli machine. Once the data reached to Acelli the process will run and at a particular stage Acelli will send data to SAP again. Based on the recieved data SAP have to run a transaction and result should send back to Acelli. Like this the data will be flowed from SAP to Mysql and Mysql to SAP. Please share your ideas..
(Note: Only at the first level user interaction is possible, then after the process must be automated).

1. To transfer data from SAP to Acelli after User input in table control
Build the logic under event of button in table control to extract the necessary data and place it in a flat file on application server then trigger a event. The event will inturn trigger Acelli to pick the file from application server & do further processing
Then Acelli will call an SAP RFC(you need to create a RFC in sap with import parameters same as the data format required from Acelli). SAP will run the transaction & will again update in file in application server + trigger event. Acelli will pick up the file.
Conclusion :-
Following objects have to be developed in SAP :-
1. 2 Interface programs
2. 1 RFC

Interface between D&B and SAP using XI
We need to set up following interfaces between
- SAP CRM and Dun and Bradsteet through XI 3.0
- SAP SRM and Dun and Bradsteet through XI 3.0

D&B offers their D&B Toolkit as AML services over HTTPS. (Not SOAP). With those services you can search for DUNS numbers, order reports etc.
In our case we use SAP FSCM and the integrated outbound interface to external credit agencies to call Xi. In Xi we use a XSLT mapping to convert the request to the D&B toolkit schema and use the HTTP adapter to call D&B. The response is then mapped back to the SAP FSCM interface format and updates the business partner.
You don't say anything on what kind of D&B data you want to request or what you want to do with it (reports, update BPs etc) therefore it is kind of hard give any further advice.

XML interface between 8.05 and 8i
Hi all,
I am kinda new to the world of XML. So bear with me if my questions are too simplistic.I am planning to write an interface between Oracle HR(8.05) and a third party application that resides on 8i. Basically, the Employee data is selected from 8.05 tables and comapred to the tables in 8i. If any employee do not exist in 8i, they need to be "inserted". Else they are assumed to be candidates for "update". This is the logic and it can be very easily programmed using PL/SQL stored procedure. The question is how to do this using XML? I guess you can classify this question as XML 101.
What is my starting point?
What needs to be installed on 8.05? XSU?
Is there a step by step installation instruction somewhere?
Is XSU and other needed tools compatible w/ 8.05?
Are there any sample XML codes for this type of interface?
Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Below is whole process-
Billing Plan for Milestone Billing
Milestone billing means distributing the total amount to be billed over multiple billing
dates in the billing plan.
As each milestone is successfully reached, the customer is billed either a percentage of
the entire project cost or simply a pre-defined amount.
During sales order processing, the system determines from the item category whether a
billing plan is required and, if so, which type of plan
The type of billing plan that is determined at this point is set up in Customizing and
cannot be changed in the sales document.
Billing plans for periodic billing and milestone billing plans for project-related milestone
billing have different overview screens so that you can enter data relevant to your
processing.
For example, for milestone billing, you must be able to enter data to identify the
individual milestones.
IMG configuration requires:-
1. Maintain billing plan types for milestone billing in OVBO.
2. Define date description in SM30 - V_TVTB.
3. Maintain Date Category for Billing Plan Type IN OVBJ.
4. Allocate date category in SM30 - V_TFPLA_TY.
5. Maintain date proposal for Billing Plan Type in OVBM.
6. Assign Billing Plan Type to Sales Documents Type in OVBP.
7. Assign Billing Plan Type to Item Categories in OVBR.
8. Define rules for determining the date in OVBS.
Milestone billing is typically used for billing projects, such as plant engineering and
construction projects. Such projects often include a series of milestones that mark the
completion of different stages of the work. In the SAP R/3 System, milestones are defined
in a network along with planned and actual dates for the completion of work. The milestones
are also assigned to the billing dates in the billing plan.
Each milestone-related billing date is blocked for processing until the Project System
confirms that the milestone is completed.
Delivery-relevant order items for which a milestone billing plan applies are billed on the
basis of the requested delivery quantity and not on the total of the confirmed quantities.
The connection between the project and the sales document item is made in the individual
schedule lines of the item. Each schedule item can be assigned to a network in a project.
To display the project-related data for a schedule line, proceed as follows:
In one of the overview screens of the sales document, select
1. Item -> Schedule lines.
2. Mark the schedule line and select Procurement details.
The following figure shows an example of milestone billing where only the Contract have
been billed :

IT helps in controlling the whole of project from one single screen and it works with 3 elements WBS element ( work break down structure), Network and Activity.
