Erro 10001 while running a VI in Labview 8.2

Hi,
I'm a university undergrad that is currently running a final year experiment using Labview 8.2. I'm using a VI that created last year and when I run it I get an Error 10001 and it says something about a bad string. However there are no errors with the VI file itself. My device that I’m using is a PCI-6024E card with the NI-DAQ 7.4.4 drivers.
Basically, in the experiment I am running a 5 volt analog input through the card (as I'm using a potentiometer). In Measurement and Automation, it can read the device and I have also run the test panel and everything checks out there. Is there something I have to do in the VI file? I'm really at a loss and don't have much time left to finish this project.

I've finally got rid of the errors, but when i run the VI while using the potentiometer, i'm not getting any readings on the graphs (on the front panel). I've checked for errors but cannot find any...

Labview is crashing (freezing) while running my app.

Running LV 7.1, the app just freezes while running at random points during execution. How can I purse some help with this?

Hi Bill,
It does sound like this crash is specific to that machine. I did find a few logs of similar crashes in our notes but there's no record of anyone being able to reproduce the error and hence solve it.
Do you have to use this machine for your application? Could you use the machine you know works?
It is likely that there was a problem with the initial installation of LabVIEW. If you do need to use this machine, I would recommend doing a complete uninstall and reinstall of all NI Software. The directions for this are in the attached word document and the MSI blast software you need is at the following link:

Erro while running query for a Scheduled work book

The following error found while running query for a schedule workbook:
ORA-12801: Error signaled in parallel query server P000
ORA-01652: uable to extend temp segment by 14720 in tablespace SYSTEM
ORA-27068: skgfdisp: buffer is not aligned properly
OSD-04005: SetFilePointer() failure, unable to read it from file
We are using discoverer 4.1.

Erro while running SLDCHECK Tcode

Hi,
We have just installed our SAP XI Server.
After configuring the SLD i was trying to check the configuration.
While running the tcode "SLDCHECK" it is giving me the following error.
Use transaction SLDAPICUST if you wish to maintain the SLD server access data
Launching the SLD GUI in a separate browser window...
=> Verify in the browser GUI that the SLD is in a healthy running state!
Calling function LCR_LIST_BUSINESS_SYSTEMS
Retrieving data from the SLD server...
Function call returned exception code 4
=> Check whether the SLD is running!
Summary: Connection to SLD does not work
=> Check SLD function and configurations
But it is opening the link successfully.Is something wrong ?

Error while running the page from Jdeveloper

I am running the pages from my Jdeveloper but it is throwing some exception which is related to cache on the local server.Kindly help me out as i am not able to run even old pages which were running earlier.Kindly what changes on the server has affected this.

Is it 9i Jdeveloper or 10G. Also check the Jdeveloper is being run on a compatible database. A Jdeveloper for 11i should run on an instance having 11i installed and same for R12. Also check the version of OA Frameworrk in the Jdeveloper you are using and the version deployed in instance.

In block diagram connecting wire getting blur while saving the VI in LabVIEW 2009

Hello,
I am using Labview 2009, And while I am saving a simple VI connecting wires are getting blurry. What could be the problem?? Is it affect my program while running?

Go into Tools>>Options, select the Block Diagram page and find the section called Constant Folding. If the CF for wires check box is checked, then this is most likely the reason. You can uncheck the check box and it won't affect the way your code runs.
If this isn't the case, you should upload an image of what it looks like.

Why can't I save control values while running an application in 6.1?

In Labview 5.1 I was able to save change control and indicator values while running the application. I accomplished this by using the MAKE CURRENT VALUES DEFAULT Method on a VI invoke node. How do I accomplish the same in 6.1?

If I remember correctly, the same limitation with the method existed in 5.1 as it does in 6.1 - namely you can't use the method while the VI is running. See here, here, and here for just a brief sample of the numerous times this question has come up and the possible solutions.

Error while running a KPI Watchlist in obiee 11g dashboard

I am getting the following error while running a KPI Watchlist :
*" Odbc driver returned an error (SQLExecDirectW) "*
I added two KPI's (KPI 1 & KPI 2)into that Watchlist , one from the default "Sample Sales Lite" (sub 1) and another from sub 2 which have essbase as data source .
KPI 1 (created from sub 1) is working fine , but while placing KPI 2 (created from sub 2 ) in the watchlist , its throwing the above error . However , while running KPI 2 individually , its showing meaningful results .
Let me know if the problem statement is not clear .
OBIEE version used : 11.1.1.5.0 .
