I receive an error message when trying to start Flash Professional CC. It states "unable to start application correctly (0xc000007b). How do you resolve this?

JSF sees and merges all configuration files listed below:
(1) WEB-INF/faces-config.xml
(2) some xml files you specify using the context-param element of WEB-INF/web.xml
(3) META-INF/faces-config.xml files included in all jar files
Check the all configuration files and see whether they have doubled elements
and merge them.

Getting error message when starting Photoshop CS3

I am getting the following error message when starting CS3:
"This application has failed to start because CML4.dll was not found."
The window title is, "Photoshop.exe - Unable to Locate Component"
Of course, the only button to push is the "OK" button (which should probably read - Something's f-d up. Press here to continue.) After pressing the OK button, CS3 starts and works without issue - so far. I guess I haven't actually used the part of the program that uses CML4.dll or just don't see any difference with or without it.
How can I resolve this issue - without reinstalling PSCS3? and why does it happen in the first place?

Nikon Scanning Software has CML4.dll as part of its package. I assume that the Nikon software did not install/uninstall properly and is causing the error. I have not gone back to do Nikon scans within Photoshop so I do not know if it affects performance. McAfee does not flag it as a virus, and other websites I referred to indicated no viral activity associated with the file.

NIPALU.dll entry point error message when launching application

A previously working application (written in VB6.0, using Measurement Studio 6 and NI-IMAQ1394) now has a fatal error message when starting:
"The procedure entry point _pkgModulePackageEventLog@20 could not be located in the dynamic link library NIPALU.dll".
This fatal error is only observed on some of our customers' systems, others work fine after the upgrade. WE NEED URGENT HELP!

MSOLAP$LocalCube cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted.

It's just a guess: Power Pivot uses the MSOLAP = "Microsoft OleDB Provider for OLAP" and maybe that Provider is damaged on the machine. You may try to reinstall the Provider, you can get the installer named "SQL_AS_OLEDB.msi" from

Error message when starting MaxDB instance

I am getting the following Error message when starting the MaxDB instance after a series of failed attempts at starting the DB Manager Backup for our PI 7.1 server.
"-24994,ERR_RTE: Runtime environment error
1,Cannot create ipc db directories for SID (OS error code 11000)"
Max DB version : 7.7.02
Does anyone have any specific pointers on where the issue could be.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm a complete newbye searching the forums in order to decrypt what is inconsistent to me (I'm acting as a substitute for a real dba): a sapdb refusing any more connection due to an 'user space exhausted' issue.
I do not even know if/where some admin tool is/isn't installed - eventually, what to look for - onto the running demianapachetomcat framework. Actually, all I have been provided was: 1. call 'Henplus' (done); 2. connect this way (jdbc:sapdb://localhost/database&options) and 3. select, upgrade, delete what needed. Problem arises on point (2): connection resufed 'user space exhausted'.
My question is: this issue seems so similar to mine, how can one eventually check/modify this '/sapdb directory space'?
Thanks in advance for any (much appreciated) hint, and be patient about my English and newbyeness (?).

since I've installed the latest update (firefox 4.0.1) I get the following error message when starting firefox:

I must then click on OK to get firefox to open => very annoying!
I'm using a ThinkPad laptop and the passwordvault which was perfectly available in the older version of firefox don't open in tools any longer, when forced via lenovo thinkpad tool, it daoesn't launch the asked for site either.

N97 system error message when starting Maps

Hi all,
I do get a system error message when starting the maps app.
I know that this is not a new topic but I did not find after intensive search a solution.
- Firmware is updated
- soft reset done
- it seems that the app is not installed
- have deleted the cities folder and the qf file
Unfortunately no change - maps app does not start.
Not sure that this is important but I want to mention this for the sake of completeness:
- the maps did work once
- when I started them the next day and I was at a different location it still showed the location of the previous evening abnd did not recognize where the phone was
- after some time I could not start the the maps app.
Any help greatly appreciated!

Ahhhhhh I want to scream. This phone is driving me crazy...so many problems.. latest among others is, opening maps it gives me the error like you all mentioned above.. so how and where do I go to download what you mentioned... and I did try to go into"download" and my phone just says I don't have enough memory to download anything.. The story goes on. I am sharing this with other users for information only based on my experience with the product. I've owned a MAC since they were first introduced in 1984 and have used Norton for years. If the virus Bloodhound was real, and not just a false heuristic positive (which is totally possible) it came in on the heels of my downloading a free PDF OCR X (before reinstalling the updated version of Norton for 10.8.3) and using it to convert .jpgs > PDF OCR X text >MS Word > Adobe .pdf as that virus (Bloodhound.PDF.20 is known for exploiting weaknesses in Acrobat and Adobe .pdfs). I have never been happy having to use the MS Office suite of office products for MAC, but EXCEL on a PC is only compatibile with EXCEL on a MAC.
When I got the Bloodhound warning after running a quick scan, I ran a full scan (1,050,660 files) with the same result. I looked at my terminal - nothing happening. I called Norton, who in turn convinced me to purchase an $89.98 subscription + $19.95/month for their spyware and virus removal service (the same sales pitch I've heard from other security providers who sell services through panic). The tech, who said it was probably false, played around with my computer via remote login, and then signed off, saying everything was okay. I reran a full scan and there was the virus again. Called tech support again. Finally got the virus quarantined and tossed it. The reality is that there was a 50/50 chance that it was something because of the way MS Word was behaving when I tried to save the file created from the ocr'd jpgs (error message: disk full- when I have 250GB of free disk space). I had to resave the files with a different name and place them in alternating folders. That havoc is now gone, but I will not be keeping the subscription. Just FYI.

"Error -42032" message when starting up iTunes 10.2

Immediately after I upgraded my 15" MacBook Pro to iTunes 10.2 a couple of days ago I began getting this error message whenever I started up the program. After dismissing the error message iTunes seems to work fine. It's more of a nuisance than a major problem, but I'd like to resolve it if I can. Any ideas out there?

After making invisible files/folders visible using TinkerTool, I copied this folder to a work file on my desktop, trashed the originals, and then put the copy back. Voila! No more error -42032 message when starting iTunes!

After making invisible files/folders visible using TinkerTool, I copied this folder to a work file on my desktop, trashed the originals, and then put the copy back. Voila! "Quicktime not installed on this system" message when starting up AE CC 2014 for the first time...

Got a "Quicktime not installed on this system some functions disabled" -- or something to that effect -- message when starting up AE CC 2014 for the first time.
I'm on a Mac Pro OS 10.9.3.
Anyone know what I need to install to fix this? I have the Quicktime player and QT plugins for browser, etc... Never had to do anything for AE before.
