Erro no perspective (efeito 3D extrude and bevel)

Olá, o meu illustrator é o CC 2014, quando eu crio um objeto qualquer e coloco o efeito 3D extrude and bevel e almento a perspectiva ao máximo (160) o objeto sofre várias deformações, por que isso acontece?

Hello,
When I open the Illustrator CC 2014, make an object and put the 3D effect extrude and bevel and increase the perspective to the maximum (160) the object undergoes deformation.
Why does this happen?

this has 120 perspective
and this has 160 perspective

How to I get a mirror image of a 3D extrude and Bevel image?

I created a ribbon using the extrude and bevel effect and then mapping it with a custom symbol. I copied the image and then tried to get a matching image on the flipside to mirror it but cannot seem to figure it out. Is there a way to somehow flip the orientation of the image? I tried using transform and then reflect and it does not do anything. I tried to do it manually in mapping and flipping the box upside down and in reverse but it just doesn't seem result in the a reflective image. Any ideas on this? Attached are the two images I am trying to get to reflect each other. Thanks

It works so it is you who have perhaps a blind spot you have to select reflect X and move the object horizontally just look at my settings and the video.
If you do not see a difference than what I have done and what Scott has suggested than what you actually did then he problem is something entirely different.

Why do I get an error message when trying to Extrude and Bevel my image?

I am making a logo for a friend and he wants something similar to the Stark House symbol. (The Direwolf) but as a dragon instead. I used the pen tool to make the shape, and now I want to fill it in and make it more 3D. I can't fill it in properly and my image gets an error message when I try to Extrude and Bevel. Why is this?

Is the path/shape closed?
Selecting it and Ctrl/Cmd+J should close it if not, then you may try again.
You may also have a look in the Document Infor palette with Objects ticked in the flyout and the path selected.

Applying live paint to extruded and beveled overlapping objects

I have a celtic design that has sections I want to overlap, but I have extruded and beveled it to make it look more realistically metallic. I tried expanding its appearance before making live paint, but "live paint make" option remains faded out on the menu... what can I do to live paint this object without losing the 3d look of it? If I outline the strokes first, and then make live paint... it loses all its extrusion and beveling. HELP!

oooh I figured out a way... it's a bit tedious, but it works!!!
I ungrouped, and put copies of two of the components I want to overlap on a new layer, in place...
then I make a clipping mask of the current overlapped areas...
this clipped mask then sits on top of the underlying section that was not layered right and now brings the bottom object to the top!
I now have to do this with every overlap where I want to bring the bottom object to the top... but it's worth it for the awesome effect!

Extrude and bevel banding... how do you make the gradient smooth?

I've got a shape that I want to make 3D using extrude and bevel tool but despite making the blend steps the highest possible amount, I still have banding. I'm using CS6. And there's no gradient on the flat image (it began as white). Any ideas?

Maintaining extrude and bevel effect

I am currently designing a logo with the extrude and bevel effect. It is fine at full size, but when I copy and paste it and scale it down for another file--a.e. a business card--the effect is lost.
Why is this happening? Do you have to apply the effect seperately when the object is rescaled?

This is another option of scaling effects but it slows down the computer when it comes to more than one applied effects. That's why I told him to expand the effect. Of course when expanding he can't edit effect's properties.

Extrude and bevel darkens original colors

I am designing a logo using the Extrude and Bevel effect for some depth. When applied--using the Plastic Shading option--it darkens the original colors.
Is there a way around this to maintain the hue in the original color.

If you still want to use 3D Extrude & Bevel, or use it to refer to while building it from scratch, click on the effect in the Appearance panel, click on More Options, go to the Shading Color menu and set a custom color. Default is black (middle), I've set it to white (right).

3D Extrude and Bevel, Isometric vertical paths not vertical

While using the 3D extrude and bevel tool, specifically the isometric preset from the position drop down menu. I am noticing that when I expand the shape (in this case a perfect cube), the vertical paths are not exactly perfect, and are not truly vertical, but off slightly. Is this something that can be fixed or adjusted in the settings, or is this how the tool works?

Since isometric drawing means just skewing shapes around...
Isometric drawing is far more than "just skewing shapes around."
in most cases drawing such stuff conventionally using normal blends or angled gradient fills is much more efficient...
Depends entirely upon what you're drawing. Many subjects are more expedient to draw/shade with 3D Effect than to construct manually.

Text wrap on Extrude and Bevel?

I am trying to follow this tutorial: http://design.tutsplus.com/tutorials/create-a-3d-newspaper-text-effect-in-adobe-illustrato r--vector-5455. Everything is good until I reach step 11.The symbol "front", "back" etc.. doesn't appear. I only get the usual: Cube, grimes and so on. I can't seem to wrap my text around the font. Please help me Thank you so much!

You need to create those symbols. Somewhere in that tutorial there need to a step that tells you how to do it.

Curious issue with extrude and rotate

I've found a curious issue with extrude and rotate in CS6. It's not a bug, but it is a nonintuitive behavior that is confusing, and sometime troublesome. I think this is something that ought to go on the to-do list for the devs. Anybody else agree? Disagree?
Example:
I began with an arrow-shaped path, to which I applied the "extrude" effect. I then put an icon on top of the arrow, and grouped the icon and arrow. Now, I'm using this icon-arrow in several different parts of my design, in different orientations. As I rotate the arrow, the relative position of the icon and the arrow appears to shift. I believe this is happening because, as you rotate the icon-arrow, Illustrator rotates both the icon and the arrow about the center of the bottom face of the arrow. This is because the top face of the arrow is essentially fictitious, just an artifact of the extrude effect. So, even though the icon appears as if it is drawn on the top face of the arrow, it behaves as if it is attached to the bottom face of the arrow. When you apply a transform, that transform affects the bottom face of the arrow, causing the top face to shift relative to the icon.
The solution would be to add an extra check box to the extrude effect, asking whether you wanted to extrude upwards (the way things are currently done) or downwards. If you could extrude downwards, then the top face of the arrow would be the "real" face, the one affected by transformations. You could then put an image on the top face, group the arrow and the image, and when you applied a transform, the icon would remain fixed relative to the top face, which would meet your intuitive expectations.

but it does work because i downloaded your file and i did jsut that. it isn't exact, but your suggestion on how to fix it wouldn't fix it anyway. the reason the acorn doesn't match is because of the distortion from the perspective not the direction of the extrusion. even if you could dictate the extrusion to go downward, the arrow would still rotate into perspective (distort) and then extrude. to avoid that, what you want is to extrude in axonometric and to do that you make your perspective rotation angle 1 degree, then make your extrusion length a lot longer to match what you want. with 1 degree there will be minimal distortion to the arrow as you rotate it and the acron will match.
i uploaded your file with your orignal 10 degree angle, and you'll see that they stay in sync pretty well. i drew a box around the acorn to better distinguish the difference. then i recreated the same thing with a 1 degree angle and on that version it stays in sync almost perfectly.
again. it doesn't matter wich direction you extrude since in perspective both faces will be distorted. if you want to keep the distortion from the perspective, you can apply the same perspective rotation to the acorn without the extrusion and it will distort in the same way as the arrow. i added that option to your file. they are all group and you can rotate them and see that they stay together pretty well, except the first one is a little off.

3D and Beveled Shapes

It's not clear to me whether Keynote 08 will let you create 3D or Beveled Shapes. Does anyone know if this functionality has been included in the new release?

to turn on the "hidden" stroke photo frames in Keynote. Once you do that, there is at least one that has a small beveled edge to it. They really only work well for rectangular objects, but it does give you some edge effects that weren't there before.

Dump Erros not too clear about cause and consequence

I'M POSTING THIS THREAD HERE CAUSE I COULDN'T GET AN ANSWER, AND I'M WORRIED....NEED HELP...
I just upgrade my O.S from windows standard to ENTERPRISE to use /3GB...
I had some scripts to backup the database using RMAN, and those same scripts were implemented on the same version of Oracle(10.2.0.1.0)..
But now, EVERYDAY I receive the following message that indicates an error in dump file:

There is none.... the unique error found in the alert.log was the message posted...
in the alert.log, there are just log switchs, but no errors instead of this one

3D Extrude & Bevel issue

I'm using CS6 Illustrator.
Having some issues (perhaps mis-understanding) about the 3D tools, especially extrude and bevel. Image attached.
I would expect the left outside black stroke to be in front of, and therefore to hide, the outside left white stroke of the inner box. As you can see, the extruded white side appears to be in front of the black extruded side...giving sort of an mc escher look.
Is there a way to get what I want out of this graphic?...that being for what becomes the left black extruded surface to appear in front of the left white extruded surface.
Note: varying the Perspective value does not help.

No, you cant do this with the 3D extrude. Illustrator is not a 3D program. Each object is rotated along an axis on the same plane, it can not move the axis of rotation of different objects in a 3D space. This also means that you can not fit automatically the perspective of two separate objects so that the smaller object appears within the bigger objects with the same perspective. You can try faking it by manually adjusting the perspective of each object so that they appear as if it is real 3D but even faking it may not be possible in certain situations. And to hide the edge of the front object you have to put it in a clipping mask as shown in the example image below. I tried to fake it with making 3 separate objects first two without a fill and the bottom one with the red fill only.
