    Solution as follow>
    1. Go to settings – date & time. Then turn off "set date & time automatically" then advance the date forward a month or so.
    2. Go to settings – BlackBerry ID. It will refresh your info and hopefully fix the problem.
    3. Set the date again and see if App World will work now.

  • Error when updating Playbook OS version via Blackberry Desktop Manager

    Greeting,
I have a batch of old playbooks which having the stack charging issue, but I found that I can update the OS to the newest version (2.1.0.1917) via Blackberry Desktop Manager, then the charging algorithm will be changed to the updated one and go over this dead battery issue. I was able to do so successfully in the past week smoothly on several devices.
But since this Monday, the Desktop Manager is saying "An updated Blackberry Desktop Software component must be installed before you can continue" when downloading the Desktop software and will appear "There was an error updating your software, an error has occurred while downloading the Blackberry Desktop Software. Please try again." and preventing the process. Seems there are some change on the server side starting this week which has caused this problem, but there's no error code to locate the exact issue.
I tried on 2 different computers as well as completed uninstalling and re-installing the Desktop manager, also tried to disable the automatic update as been advised in some threads. So no clue how to deal with it for now. It will be highly appreciate if some one can share some idea.
I've attached the step by step screenshots for reference, where you can find here:

Sorry I can not help you with your problem but perhaps you can help me.
Can you advise where I can find info on "disable the automatic update"?
just ignore the update if you dont want it on the playbook
    for reloading the OS
First I would like you to do a Back Up of your PlayBook using your computer and BlackBerry Desktop Software.
This can be downloaded for free from http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/
After the Back Up is complete I need you to unplug your PlayBook and then push and hold down the Power Button until the unit Force Powers Off.
Now, while Desktop Software is still open on your computer and the PlayBook Powered Off, Connect the PlayBook to your computer.
You should see and error screen from Desktop Software pop up that has the options to Retry, Update, or Cancel.
    QUICKLY choose the Update option.
This will erase all the information off of your PlayBook and Re-Write the Software back onto it. Once it's complete your PlayBook will need to go back through the setup wizard, and you can then perform a restore using Desktop Software to return your information. The only thing that won't come back after the restore are the apps that you downloaded from App World but they can be easily Re-Installed using the My World feature in App World.

  • DB13 error: 0003 Error during initialization

    Dear All,
Since last 2 days, Production backup is getting failed with error "0003 Error during initialization".
Strangely, there are no related logs to investigate further... Nothing was changed in backup related configurations.
We are using Tivoli (TSM) backup solution..
    System Details: HP-UX 11.31i, Oracle10g (10.2.0.4), ECC 6.0
In DB13 Action logs, it is showing following details only...
    Action: Whole database offline backup
Brbackup logfile : bedjjsnb.log   ##### Actually it should show filename something like "bedjjsnb.aff"
Return Code : 0003 Error during initialization
When I click on "Show Actiion/Detail log", it shows nothing... (Log file does not exists..)
There is no file with above filename in /oracle/<SID>/sapbackup and in back<SID>.log
I have checked below things :
    1. BRTOOL permissions (As per note 113747 - Permissions for DBA tools BRTools and SAPDBA)
    2. /oracle/<SID>/sapbackup permissions (it is 755 with ora<sid>:dba ownership)
    3. I have checked /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log, but there is no error.
    4. Test for communication between SAP server and Tivoli is OK.
    5. TSM Session query is also returning desired result.
    6. I made sure that there are free and scratched tape in TSM for SAP backup pool.
    7. No other backup was running at the time of SAP backup.
I have tried taking backup on DISK which is successful without any errors or warnings.
What else I can check ? Am I missing something ?
Any inputs will be highly appreciated...
I will try to fire backup manually later in the evening after business hours to see what exactly going wrong in between.

  • Error VTM-0005 in Performance Manager

From the OEM console I'm starting Performance Manager. The tool starts, but when I try to "Connect to Service..." I get the following error:
    VTM-0005: Error connecting to server
    java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused
Clearly, the node is recognized and the agent is running, or I wouldn't be able to start the console (right?). So why can't I get a connection to a host that I've already gotten a connection to?
I've looked in the documentation, but all I can find is the recommendation to call Oracle support. Since I'm already pushing 40 and would like an answer before I retire, I thought I'd try here first.
Thanks for any advice you can offer,
    Rich

I did a search on "vtm-0005" and found a thread in the "platforms/linux" forum. Apparently you have to start the data gatherer by using the vppcntl command, though I couldn't find any reference to that in any of the Oracle docs that I checked. Now that I've started it, Performance Manager seems to be working.

  • ERROR :0003 when recovering

    Hello Guys
I hope someone can help! I have X870 and the original hard drive broke (loud clicking, really slow system).
I have put in to the computer a new 750GB HDD and new 128GB SSD.
I have the offical recovery DVD's and when i run the first disk it proceeds to system recovery menu, i tell it to begin and it starts to process the job.
The bar moves to 100% after a few mins and then the "Error: 0003" messages comes up.
It does not matter which hard drive i use in which of the two slots nor does it change when i use only one of the disks in the computer at a time.
Both disks appear fine as i tested them in other computers and tried hardware diagnostic tests as well!
Anyone got any ideas? Any helped appreciated!
    Thanks.

  • Satellite P850 Recovery Error: 0003

I've tried to restore my Toshiba Satellite P850 to out-of-the-box state. I ordered the Product Recovery Media directly from Toshiba. Following the 4-part dvd initialisation and file-copying process, the recovery wizard attempts to install Windows 8 onto the hard drive. Approximately 70% through, the process fails and displays:
    Error: 0003
    Recovery error.
Please prees [OK] to turn off the computer.
Hard drive (WinDFT) and memory tests (MemTest86) have passed. Multiple installation attempts - each failed. Complete format and repeated installation also failed.
Is there an issue with the recovery media? Could the hard drive require replacement (despite WinDFT passing)?
    Any help truly appreciated.
    Solved!

    eagle3,
For completeness, and anyone experiencing the error issues mentioned above, we've finally come to a conclusion.
With replacement of HDD seeming more and more likely, I replaced the HDD with an existing (smaller) SATA drive i had at home, this would act as the test case to determine whether purchase of a new drive would be worthwhile?
Utilising recovery media, the process was smooth, efficient and seamless. Most importantly, error free.
The drawback is the user will need to replace the hard disk.
I want to thank you for all your suggestions as well as assistance.

  • Error 0003:1879:2828

I've seen a number of posts regarding this error but no solution.  I'm using Versamail with Windows Live.  Works fine for a day or two, then won't sync.  If I remove and reinstall Versamail, it works again for a day or two.  Given the number of posts, this is not a unique problem.  Does Palm have an explanation, and hopefully a fix?  My son uses a Blackberry and has no problem at all syncing up his e-mail.
    Post relates to: Centro (Verizon)

I am having the  same problem with my AT&T Centro except the Centro will not get the e-mails even if outlook has downloaded it already.  I can send e-mails, but can't receive any.  I get the same error code and text.  I have even traded in my first Centro for another one and it started having the same problem withing 2 days.
Has anyone had any luck fixing this problem?  Please help, this is extremely frustrating!

I have found the solution in crackberry.com.First change the date of your playbook to the previous date when the app world is working.then delete your saved wi-fi connection and re - add it again. try download the same app you want to download before.if its work, change back the date and time to real one.
