Error (0x77686174) what do i do?

Hello kind-hearts,
for some reason everytime i try to upload music from my original CDs on to iTunes, I always encounter an error (0x77686174) on certain songs. there are some cds that refuse to upload enitrely and it causes frequent computer crashes. I had a friend who used her computer to upload songs onto my ipod, and it worked just fine.
sometimes a window pops up saying that there's a serious problem with Windows, and just recently it says that there are unknown devices installed.
I took my computer to a technichian, that ran the computer for nine hours straight without a single crash, and said that there is nothing wrong wiht it at all. I believe the crashing problems are being caused by iTunes and my iPod. Is this reasonable, or right? Why won't my iTunes import whole cd's onto it? what can i do?
all suggestions are welcome. please help.

I'm trying to import songs from cd's and everytime I try to I get an error message that an error had occured CONVERTING the file (error 0x77686174). Anyone have any ideas of what I can do to fix this and be able to use iTunes?

Thanks for the suggestion. CD's are clean; no finger prints or dust. Still can't import into iTunes. A little background-- I had iTunes on a PC previously. When I transferred the library to my MacBook, I noticed some CD's were not transferred. This is one of the CD's I had in iTunes on my PC, but is now not in iTunes on my MacBook. Why can I not add this and some other CD's to iTunes on my MacBook?

all of a sudden when i try to import my cd's i get unknown error 0x77686174 and it wont import my music...can anyone help me either fix this or tell me what i need to do.
I tried to find and anwser all I could find was Toonz saying it was a Quicktime "Audio Codec Not Found" error, but nothing telling me how to fix it.

Im not sure what that error is, but looks like its a issue with your hardware or in Windows. Try and see if you can import or rip the CD in other programs. Also update windows, and your software/firmware for the CD burner

The disk you are using probably has a defect, not uncommon on consumer grade disks. Try another disk or better yet another disk from a different manufacturer or at least a different batch.

It is a mute point now. PSE12 finally failed to the point it locked up the MAC. I had to restore the MAC OS from backup to a point before the PSE12 update.
The MAC now operates correctly and so does PSE12. I don't think I'll be updating PSE any time soon.

I had been getting this all morning and checked other messages from the community. THe one which worked was trying a different brand of disc.
I had been using Verbatim which had copied the music fine off the Real Player on my PC at school, but wouldn't work with I Tunes. Tried a Staples and an Office Depot CD-R , both of which did the job.

i think the CD was bad. i took the machine to the Apple store and they said the Optical Drive was OK. so it must be the CD's i'm using... i use Verbatim type. let me know.

'Mediium write error' means it failed to write to the disc - some makes work better than others and you may just have hit a single bad disc or maybe your burner doesn't like the make of disc. I've always had good results with TDK.

Yes its been cleaned out, i have tried many different things to try an fix it but still nothing. i just can't understand how it can be working perfect 1 minute then not working the next minute. seems to be a common problem with no real solution.

Are you plugging the iPod into a high powered USB 2.0 port on the back of your PC? Have you tried a different USB cable?
What happens if you try to reset the device with it still connected to the PC?
How to reset iPod
Has this iPod ever worked on this PC or is this the first time you have time you have tried connecting it?
Have you carefully worked through each and every single suggestion in this Apple support document?
