Error 1 with De-Queue on STOP?
Hi everyone,
Attached is a vi I have been working on (using simulated DAQ cards; so data are sine waves)... When I press 'STOP' I get "Error 1" warnings; something to with de-queue inputs? Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Jack

Thanks RavensFan... That worked...
However, I have used a notifier to stop all the loops, rather than a queue (as I only need one notifier, rather that a queue between each loop)... I assume that is ok and appropriate coding practice...
I now have another problem.. In my UE Command Loop I would like to add ALL user commands that will be used in the vi, such as menu commands for read, idle and stop, plus other boolean comments that might, for example, change the x axis scale on wavefort charts... Currently, the way I have this set-up makes the chart flicker...
It it possible to have ALL user commends send in the one queue so that the number of wires can be reduced? Attached is my current code.
Thanks,
Jack

ORA-00600 should be reported to oracle. Only they know the meaning.
Regards,
- wiZ -
Time Capsule error 22 - My time capsule was working fine and didn't notice anything wrong with it until it stopped backing up about two weeks ago. I never changed anything like computer names or the Airport settings. All I get is the following:
The backup disk image "/Volumes/Data/Linda's Computer 1.sparsebundle" could not be created (error 22).
I tried resetting the Time Capsule and connecting with an ethernet cable, although the Ariport Utility says everything is working fine through WiFi.If the light will not turn on the TC is dead. No matter that the hard disk is running.. it should only run at start up or when it is accessed not constantly.. that means the board in the TC has failed. Apple do not repair them.. They will replace it under warranty or applecare.
If you have gone over the 12month warranty it will still be covered if you have applecare on any computer or an Apple TV. In fact the cost of the apple TV plus apple care is still cheaper than buying a new TC.. so it is a route some people are taking.. certainly depends.. in some places like Europe or Australia now, there is a recognition that statutory warranty must be longer on a product that is premium to the market. 12months is not good enough. Apple will sometimes listen.

I have firefox 20.0.1 and Java SE 7 U21 10.21.2.11 Plugin installed..I don't have any older versions of Java installed..I have checked and there are no older java consoles or plugins..
For last couple of day..for any website I open (Facebook.com, Espncricinfo.com, dx.com, even Support.mozilla.org or any mozilla troubleshoot page searched through google).. Firefox hangs..then gives me a popup error window with following message;
"A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete." (message is followed by the path of .js script file..different filename for different site)
I disabled Java plugin from "extentions" , restarted firefox and opened facebook. I expected to open facebook properly and get a "no java installed or enable java" error at the most but instead same thing happened and got the same error message..
Even after disabling Java plugin I am getting same error on all websites...
Infact other than opening google and searching I cannot use firefox for any other website..
Even this message I am posting using Opera because firefox wont let me open this page also..
Anyone has any solution?I have solved this issue..
First of all thanks everyone for suggestions...
Thing is I used to use firefox without any added extensions or add-ons..so my firefox only had plugins/add-ons/extensions installed automatically by programs.. i.e. Flash, Java SE, QuickTime and Foxit Reader plugin..
As previously stated..disabling any or all of thse plugins was not solving the issue..
So I backed up my bookmarks..
I uninstalled firefox... removed all settings and data and profiles...removed any leftover files too...
Then I re-installed firefox using "Run as Administrator" ....
And the issue is solved....
the Flash, QuickTime, Java SE and Reader plugins were automatically enabled after first use...
And so far I have opened lots of websites (which used to hang and give error window) without any issue..I have also played flash games online...and accessed content that needs Javascript enabled..
And I am typing this reply using Firefox only...which was not possible when I had the issue...
I don't know exactly what or why the problem was...but it is solved now.. -
Why is my HP Deskjet 970C Print Queue Status "Stopped" and won't change?
I recently installed 10.5 Leopard. Hooked up my old HP-970C Deskjet. Used the link: http://www.linuxfoundation.org/en/OpenPrinting/MacOSX/foomatic to get the new HP Driver as recommended. Set up printer with this driver.
Each time the print command is given (Word Doc or .pdf file) nothing happens. The job is shown in the Print Queue with the Status says "Stopped." Clicking the resume button does not start the printer. Twice more and I get a message that says "Operation Could not be completed. client-error-not-possible."
Any thoughts on how to work around this?
Tried the six steps listed at: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01462601&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us &lang=en&softwareitem=bi-54970-4&os=219&rule=5837&product=3435684
Even those great steps did not help. Any other ideas? Thanks!!!The short answer is that you have an older HP printer, and have just been bitten by HP's abandonment of older printers on both Leopard and Vista.
The foomatic drivers should work, though; I used foomatic drivers on my old HP MFD for years. They gave better output than the ones HP shipped, and actually worked in Leopard. I put the HP onto a machine running XP because scanning didn't work anymore on either Vista or Leopard and HP had no intention of fixing it.
When I see the error you quoted, there are usually three possible causes:
1 the printer itself has a hardware problem. The fix for that is to buy a new printer, it's not economic to repair a DJ970.
2 the HP drivers are present on the system and are interfering. The fix for that is to remove the HP drivers and just have the foomatic drivers installed.
3 the USB cable is bad or loose. The fix for that is to get a new USB cable and make sure that it is securely plugged in. -
Replication Queue reader stopped due to Comm failure
Hello,
I have replication (subscription with updateable subscribers) (pull) running on sql 2008 subscriber with 5 sql 2000 publishers. all seem well except the Queue agent stops at loss of network connectivity. It dosen't appear to restart
until I manually restart it. It will run for hours until it stops or a shorter period. Usually, early in the morning before any server activity.
It is not all the Queue readers stopping at the same time, seems random.
I have looked for competing jobs or heavy server activity, I do not see any.
Per the error logs it is a network loss. (the network is a VPN and is know to have short down times.) (mostly seconds. not hours) (this is the reason I am doing queued transactions)
Is there a way to have the queue agent restart itself if down or to keep trying to start until the problem clears. if so what affect will it have on the publishers overhead.
Is there something else I am missing as I am fairly new to replication.
The other agents seem to just jug along doing their jobs and the trans actions are followed through.
Thanks for any help
BarryHi Barryb,
we have 2 options in job step properties for your scenario
1.one is retry attempts :Sets the number of times that SQL Server Agent attempts to retry a failed job step .
2.On failure action: Sets
the action for SQL Server Agent to perform if the job step fails.
Pls marked as answer if this is use full to you
Thanks and Regards,

Bug in 2012 Statecharts with LVOOP queues
I was trying out LV 2012 and found a bug in the statechart module. If the outputs contain a queue of LabVIEW objects the statechart will fail to generate code with error.
Failed to generate statechart.
Error 91 occurred at Statechart Code Generation
Possible reason(s):
LabVIEW: The data type of the variant is not compatible with the data type wired to the type input.
In the example I just made a new statechart and added a queue of base labview objects. In the code I was porting over from 2011 sp1, the queue's are of a subclass of LV Objects.
Attachments:
Statechart Bug.zip 58 KBI haven't had much time to look into a work around embedding the queue into a DVR or a Cluster doesn't seem the make a work. The issue also exists if I put the queue's into the state data. The queues are single element so I might be able to replace them with DVRs but I have things that wait for new data, so I would need to add separate update notifications. Notifier's might work, but I have to make sure data isn't lost. The simplest solution might be to flatten/unflatten to/from strings, and just store the strings in the queue. I could also use named queue's (I tend to avoid them since it can mask some kinds of coding bugs until runtime). User events can also be used as queue's but I don't think I can limit them to size 1.
I've used this statechart since LV2009 so it's a new bug. As for what it does, it's a bit complicated (I wouldn't be using a statechart otherwise). But I have some VIs that function as UIs for different LVOOP Objects, this statechart manages sync issues with quickly starting and stopping different UI VIs that may modify state. One queue feeds the part that displays the UIs the other is for updating the data collection of the objects. The issues it solves are subtle, and it's been a while since I've had to dig through this part of the code, so hopefully I can find a clean workaround.
I seem to have a 1 after my name now. -
When I click on any of my movie or TV shows in Itunes I immediately get an error message that says Itunes has stopped working and closes the program. I can sync the movies and shows to my phone okay but I can't watch on Itunes. Can anyone help?
Let's try the following user tip with that one:

I would appreciate any suggestions or ideas of where else to look for advice. Thanks!Hey jcaqualung,
Thanks for the question. I understand that you are experiencing issues with iTunes on your Windows Vista machine. The following resource may provide a solution. I would also recommend installing iTunes on the internal hard drive of your computer, as opposed to the external drive.

I upgraded to Yosemite, and now Safari will not even load. It immediately goes to the "quit unexpectedly" error window, with the following information (which means nothing to me, of course). I've seen others posting issues like this, but have yet to see a solution. Apparently I cannot just reinstall Safari, so do I need to figure out how to uninstall the upgrade and try again? Is this worth it, or should I just uninstall and go back to my prior OS until Apple can provide a clean upgrade? Anyone know the answers?

Dynamic queue name with JMS Queue XML?
Hi,
Is it possible to use dynamic queue name with JMS Queue XML?
I tried using a variable in the JNDI URL, and supply the value in a package. I specified the following in the JNDI URL in the Topology:
e.g.
<JMS_RESOURCE>?d=<DTD_FILE>&s=<SCHEMA>&JMS_DESTINATION=#PROJECT_NAME.dest_var
I declared and set the variable in a package, then tried to load data from the above data server to database. But executing this package gave me the following error:
7000 : null : java.sql.SQLException: javax.jms.JMSException: Cannot find the target in JNDI (#PROJECT_NAME.dest_var)
java.sql.SQLException: javax.jms.JMSException: Cannot find the target in JNDI (#PROJECT_NAME.dest_var)

Thanks!hi,
as it's not in Adapter-Specific Message Properties
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/10/b1b4c8575a6e47954ad63438d303e4/content.htm
looks like you cannot do it with jms adapter in standard
use proxy or your own adapter instead

Error when opening iTunes : iTunes has stopped working '' A problem caused the program to stop working correctly''.
When I repaired damaged files the problem still exists and also after uninstalling, redownloading and reinstalling iTunes.
My pc is working with windos 8.
Is there a solution?Hey there Rodney274,
It sounds like you are getting an error from iTunes when you launch it. I would try the troubleshooting in this article named:
iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8: Fix unexpected quits or launch issues
http://support.apple.com/kb/ts1717
Start with troubleshooting for 3rd party plug ins section, then the rest of the article if needed:
Start iTunes in Safe Mode
Open iTunes in Safe Mode to isolate any interference from plug-ins or scripts not manufactured by Apple.
Hold down Shift–Control while opening iTunes. You should see a dialog that says "iTunes is running in safe mode" before iTunes finishes starting up.
Click Continue.
See if the issue you're experiencing persists in Safe Mode.
If you have the same issue while iTunes is in Safe Mode, proceed to the "Create a new user account" section. If you don't experience the same issue, follow these steps to remove third-party plug-ins.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
Take care,

Error "Licensing for this product has stopped working" when you launch Acrobat 9
Hi,
I'm part of service desk and my company has several thousand users of Acrobat. There has been strange issues reported since upgrading from 7.0.5 to 9.1 and a lot of them are uhappy. The latest issue is users started to receive the following error,
Error "Licensing for this product has stopped working" when you launch Acrobat 9 or Adobe Creative Suite 4 products. The link http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/405/kb405970.html#ErrorCodes has solution, but i tried everything given for 147-178, and nothing works. The users are highly frustrated. Any other possibilities? one collegue claims running simple reg cleaner could solve this issue.Wow,
I went through a "font crisis" on my MacBook about two weeks ago, and I reinstalled Snow Leopard, then restored everything from Time Machine backup. Everything but Office 2008 and CS4 was able to run from the restore, because there were preferences for both that wouldn't copy back to my Library (permissions).
I reinstalled both from the "original media" (dmg's) with my Time Machine and 2 other external HDs connected and mounted. I had no problems with either. In fact since I was re-installing from dmg's stored on my Time Machine drive, I had to have it connected to do this. Installing Office and CS4 from the dmg's took all of twenty minutes for both with no errors at all.
I'm glad you got everything taken care of, but anectdotal evidence tells me CS4 can be reinstalled with external drives connected and mounted. -
Why do I get "there was an error working with this photo"?
In LR 4.2, have begun seeing this error message when I apply a keyword to an image. When I move to an adjacent image and return to the original, the keyword shows it has been applied. I cannot see any problems with viewing or editing images but am concerned as I'm seeing this error message up to 10 times per day by rough count. So, in all it is appearing to be a nuisance but with no visible impacts.
Every time I exit LR, I backup the catalog with an integrity test and optimization. When I return, I see no problems with images that received the error when a keyword was applied.
Background: Have a catalog with over 14,700 images that for all other purposes runs fast and well. The images receiving the errors are TIFF scans of negative 4x5 sheet film. In the "active" part of the catalog, there are 519 images.
Have a Mac Pro running OS X 10.6.8 with all patches applied. LR 4.2, current version. Over 410 GB hard drive space available. Eight GB RAM on machine.
Have scanned Adobe Community and done a general Google search with no hits reporting this error message with no apparent other issues.
Appreciate learning I can ignore with confidence or advice on how to stop/avoid repetition.
DougYes. When I am watching, it seems to complete the autowrite in a few seconds after making a change.
