Error -100008 stops downloads after purchase

Any ideas?
I purchased music from the iTunes Store, the files automatically began to download, at the very end of the download, i got a symbol with error -100008 saying that the files may be corrupt. I tried to re-download through "Check for Purchases" and ran into the same problem over and over again. Please help!

While it states a -50 error, try this:

  • I am getting an error -50 when downloading a purchased tv episode

    recently, i purchased a tv series, "the fades" and proceeded to download past episodes.  Episode 1, 2 and 4 downloaded without any problems but episode 3 stopped after 440.1 MB of 608.1 MB with the explanation stopped (err = -50).  a popup window appears with the following message: 
    There was a problem downloading "Episode 3 / The Fades, Season 1 $ The Fades".  An unknown error occured (-50). 
    Please check that the connection to the network is active and try again.
    My connection is active and I am not running a proxy (like some help suggests on google).  Please help

    I'm having the same issue with the exact same episode. I deleted the partial and still get a -50 error. Funny thing is when the dl reaches 450 mb of the 608 mb it starts back over. Downloaded it through my iphone and it downloads all 609mb then starts over, but if I go to the video icon I can watch it. I think something is wrong with the actual video. I even emailed support and got a reply back:

    Still not working. However they did give me 3 credits for tv episodes, which downloaded just fine.

  • Error = -100008 while downloading Movie/TV Shows

    I have endlessly tried to download 2 TV shows (1 bought, 1 free) and 1 free movie but keep getting the error message -100008. My iTunes is updated and so is my Quicktime. Also, I downloaded the latest versions of my drivers because before then I couldn't listen to any file in my iTunes folder after downloading the new version of iTunes.
    After I receive the error I tried rebooting and going to "Check for Purchases" where I am able to download again but it starts from the beginning and gives me the same error message again. Have been trying to get these files for 2 days now to no avail. Please help!!

    I also have this problem while I try to download an episode of Battlestar Galactica. I've retried the download over and over. During this time I was able to download a song, so I don't know the problem...

  • Error 8008 while downloading a purchase

    2 weeks ago I purchased a movie at the Istore. it started downloading as normal. about half way through it stopped giving me an +*"error 8008"+*. it indicated that parts of the file were corrupt and told me to restart the download. I did this to no avail. I then went to support over a week ago via e-mail. they responded telling me to do what I had already done. (I dont think they actually READ the emails they get). I responded to them but they have not replied further and it has been over a week. this is my first attempt at help with apple and so far it has been unimpressive. hopefully someone out here can help. I try to re-buy the movie but it wont let me saying I already own it. I try to delete it but it will not delete. I try to drag it to the trash can, but it wont go there.

  • Can't do a cloud download after purchasing book on iPhone

    Have downloaded book to iPhone want to put on iPad as well, when attempted get mssg that I've already purchased book and just need to download which when I click download button nothing happened at first after several attempts it now shows it as  paused ?? And seems to be stuck like that.

    A couple more details: I restored from the backup after resetting. There was also one Sound Designer II file in the playlist of my own music which was checked but could not, of course be synced.

  • Download after purchase not working

    I just purchased my upgrade to Lightroom 6 (I own all prior versions).  My credit card has been charged.  I have an order number, and it shows up in the "My Orders" page of my account. It also says "still processing your order, may take up to 24 hours.  When I click on the Download button, it takes me to a Javascript error page.

    Make sure you have cookies enabled and clear your cookie cache.  If it continues to fail try using a different browser.

    Every time I try to download my shows, it will download for a little bit and then the message error -50 comes up and the downloading stops. I have tried to solve it using the itunes support by deleting the download folder and trying again and nothing is working... Any help would be great!

  • Why do my songs stop downloading after a while?

    I just got a new computer, so of course I'm trying to get all my songs onto this one, i have just over 1000 songs on my iTunes account, but after downloading, it eventually stops, it could be 4-5 songs or 20-30 songs, but eventually it stops, weather i just have one downloading or three at a time, sooner or later, 3 random songs reach 100% and freeze on processing...and the only way to resume the download is to close iTunes, log in again, go to iTunes store, and restart the download...I mean eventually ill get all my songs back...but as you imagine its a massive pain to having to keep checking up on it...any suggestions on how to sort my problem? thanks ^_^

  • Lightroom 5 will not download after purchase....multiple bugs on site

    Appart from dead download link on recent purchase window.....severl bugs on log in windows.  Purchased by phone after "My Cart" would not complete purchase. 
    Tech support has been a horrible experience. 

    LR 5 download works fine for me. If you cannot click on the download link or button and have it do anything then I'd suspect virus-protection or internet-security application on your computer is blocking the download, or that the javascript on the Adobe page that hosts the link isn't being understood by your browser, or that your internet connection isn't stable enough to support a 800MB download.
    Things to try are to disable your virus-scanner and internet security temporary along with allowing popups in your browser, and trying a different browser.
    Since the LR 5.2 release candidate is available at Adobe Labs, you might also try download and installing that and when the release version of LR 5.2 is available, that update should be available by using Help / Updates... in LR 5.2 RC.

    since itunes does not recognise my itunes and my powerbook to re download as a previously buyer of that album, how can i download it for free? do i have to use iphone again and, in this case, how put that music in my powerbook?

    Is it possible to download a digital version of your purchase even after you have had a physical version of the same software shipped?
    I recently bought a new Macbook Pro, which doesn't have a disc drive and I cannot load the adobe software, which I bought just over a year ago, onto it.

    Can I then use the serial number I used for the physical copy on my old Macbook on a downloaded trial version?
    Yes, provided the downloaded trial version is the Mac version.
    I read somewhere that the serial code can be used twice? Not sure if this is false information though.
    Don't confuse licensing and activation.
    Your serial number (your software license) can be used as many times as you like and that's what licenses the software for perpetual use beyond the 30 day trial period. It's permanent and can be used every time you install or re-install the software. It's a perpetual license so it will always work.
    However, in order to use the software for more than 30 days (e.g. if you're installing the trial on a new computer), in addition to being licensed via your serial number, it must also always be activated via the Adobe activation servers and you can only have two activations per serial number at any one time. Activation is usually an automatic process during a successful installation.

    Hiya Ive been struggling to install the trail for After Effects.
    I get the Error 107 over and over  ive done everything you all have suggested.
    Even signed up for that cloud thing , but they didnt have that software for some reason

  • Application Manager has 'Up to date' won't let me download after purchase

    Hello,
    I just purchased the monthly subscription to InDesign CS6 about 2 hours ago. I am going through the steps and when I get to the Application Manager to download I have 'Up to date' in grey and I am unable to download InDesign CS 6. How can I fix so I can download?
