Error (-1004) when connecting to ITunes Store
Hey guys,

There was an error in the ITunes Store. Please try again later.
I've given this almost two weeks bu am still getting the same message; regardless of the action I'm trying to complete.
Also, all of the pictures on the homepage are missing, replaced by small blue boxes with question marks in them.
Please please can somebody help me?!?!?
Thanks in advance

TS1492 Error 11333 when connecting to iTunes Store
I am using a Mac Mini, not Windows. The Apple dropdown would not let me choose the correct community. I didn't know what to do.
Meanwhile, unfortunately, I get the error in question (11333) when I choose iTunes > Check for Updates. That's the error the update is supposed to solve! Catch-22 What do I do now?I'd try updating using a .dmg installer downloaded from the Apple Website:

Can't connect to the iTunes Store
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1368
Could be you are not connecting to the internet via wifi.
Look at iOS Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398
iPad: Issues connecting to Wi-Fi networks http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3304
iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4199
Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
Change the channel on your wireless router. Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

ITunes for Windows: Error -9812 when accessing the iTunes Store
So here is the situation. When I try to access our iTunes U site from the public link it works great, when I go thru the link that has me authenticicate it works on macs but on PC's I get the error message "iTunes for Windows: Error -9812 when accessing the iTunes Store" it's happening all thru our campus with PC users. Any ideas?????
We're having similar connection issues, and the error log on our web server says something about a certificate error. I noted that last year on this date there were messages related to certificates. Is it possible they are updated every Dec 2, and we should count on some down time?

I have the new iPad and I could not use I tunes , every time I get an error says "cannot connect to itunes store " please help
Sorry, yes iTunes on your computer.
When I updated my iPad 3 and iPod Touch 4th generation to iOS 6 a few months back, I was able to update the iPad effortlessly over WiFi. but I kept getting error messages when trying to update the iPod over WiFi, so I used iTunes on my MacBook Pro.
Connect the iPad to the computer, launch iTunes. Select the iPad under the devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update
If you are using iTunes 11, go to View>Show Sidebar at the top - so the sidebar is visible. -

Error message when connecting to iTunes says my new iPad 4 can't be connected as it requires version 10.7 or later. Surely a new iPad already has the latest version, and if it doesn't how do I get it?
Not the iPad - your computer must be running iTunes 10.7 in order to sync. It has nothing to do with iTunes on the iPad.
You can download iTunes for your computer here.

I have tried to correct error message by updating iPad, iTunes and security but still get same message "cannot connect to iTunes store?
it only happens for previous purchases - if you have a computer you can try to download your purchase history there and then just sync them to your device - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519 - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1386.

After I get the abovemention error message, the only option I have is to click "OK". Doing that gives me a white blank screen with the only option to "Cancel". Clicking on that brings up an Update screen to update an app I never downloaded. What's going on? How do I get rid of this?
Saw this on another post.
Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it! It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.
In the meantime ...........

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year. Then see if you can connect to the store.

When I try to connect to my application icon it states "cannot connect to itunes store" why and how can I fix it
also, how do you connect to internet, cellular data network or wi-fi....you might also try it with wi-fi turned off and see if it works over the cell data network..this would eliminate any proxy issues with the wi-fi network...
