hello,
We are working to integrate the SCOM 2012 R2 With SCVMM 2012 R2 .But while creating connection of integration it got failed with error in job on scvmm as below :
Error (10218)
Setup could not import the System Center Virtual Machine Manager Management Pack into Operations Manager server because one or more required management packs are missing. The VMM Management Packs cannot be deployed unless the following component management
packs are present in Operations Manager :
Windows Server Internet Information Services 2003,

Have you imported all of the packs it mentions:
Windows Server Internet Information Services 2003,
Windows Server 2008 Internet Information Services 7,
Windows Server Internet Information Services Library,
SQL Server Core Library.
There's a good walkthrough
here which details all the pre-reqs.
It was some time ago but i also did a walk-through with pictures

Isolated Lab on Hyper-V (Prod) with SCVMM 2012 R2
Hello,
I currently would like to make littla test lab on my Hyper-V 2012 R2 with SCVMM 2012 R2 at work.
Knowing that there is DC in prod on this Hyper-V, I would like to isolate the lab from the prod without loosing internet access.
I did try with a server gateway but no connectivity and a lot of errors.
It is so easy to do witout VMM that I can't understand why it is so difficult now.
Please let me know.
OllieYou should create a new virtual switch of the type "internal" where the VMs can communicate with the hosts through this switch, and vice versa. Then it will be isolated from the production DC.

EC-CS -Error G00022 while integrating Cons Units and Company in CXNT
Hi,
The question is related to EC-CS ( Enterprise controlling - Consolidation.)
While integrating the Consolidation units with Company in t code CXNT, the system gives an error message as below:
Default value to char. Partner unit does not exist for value CO from char. Dimension
Message no. G00022
Diagnosis
Default values must be maintained for the characteristic Partner unit. Numerous consolidation functions use this default value.
The characteristic Partner unit is in a compounding relationship with the characteristic Dimension and is dependent on its characteristic value. For the value CO of the independent characteristic Dimension no default value is maintained.
Procedure
Maintain for every value of the independent characteristic Dimension a default value for the characteristic Partner unit.
I don't understand the configuration missing for the above eror. Any help is appreciated.

OS-Deployment to virtual servers with SCVMM 2012 R2 vs SCCM 2012 R2 or integration with both?
Hi,
OS-Deployment to virtual servers with SCVMM 2012 R2 vs SCCM 2012 R2 or integration with both?
Is SCCM just for physical servers, and SCVMM for virtual?
What are benefits of integrating them?

Deploy VMs with SCVMM 2012 R2 with Internet connection
Hello everyone,
I am trying to use SCVMM 2012 R2 to create a network that will eventually hold 2 clouds, but for the moment I can't seem to create the network and connect the VMs to the Internet.
My lab is this (all hosts are in a LAN, 192.168.0.0/24, gateway 192.168.0.1, and ONLY ONE NIC per HOST ):
1 host DC, DNS, SQL, SCVMM 2012 R2 (IP 192.168.0.8)
2 hosts with Hyper-V (IP 192.168.0.9 and 192.168.0.10)
I'm also planning to create some "virtual" networks for clustering and live migration, which will use the same physical NICs as the management network (since I have only one physical NIC per host).
Could you please give me a quick guide of how to set this up with SCVMM 2012 R2, so that I can take advantage of the new features (network virtualization, logical networks, logical switch) and for the VMs to be able to reach the Internet?!
Thank you so much. Thanks for the reply.
My network architecture is exactly like the one described on your paper, with 2 differences:
1. I only have one host in the Production group and one host in the Gateway group
2. The first host has one physical NIC, the second host has 2 NICs, one internal and one with an Internet (routable) IP
After applying the logical switches on the hosts, I lost Internet connectivity on the gateway host (I have no idea why there is no logical Gateway Switch !!!). VMM completed the jobs with no error.
Any thoughts? -
Can SCVMM 2012 R2 exist with SCVMM 2012 SP1 in the same AD domain
We currently run System Centre 2012 SP1 (SCOM, SCCM, SCSM and SCVMM 2012 SP1).
There is no plan to upgrade the System Centre suite to R2 for another 6 months.
But we do want to use SCVMM 2012 R2. I don’t plan to use SCVMM 2012 R2 with SCOM or SCCM 2012 SP1.
Can I build a separate SCVMM 2012 R2 in the same Active directory domain or forest (on a new server, with a separate database and with different service accounts)?

Portal Runtime error occured while integrating WebDynpro App
Hi all,
An exception occurred while processing a request for :
iView : N/A
Component Name : N/A
Application URL ':///webdynpro/dispatcher/local/Example_FL/ExampleFLApp' is not valid! Please check the protocol and host entries for system 'SAP_R3'..
See the details for the exception ID in the log file
This is the error that I got while integrating WD appl into Portal. I have Created a Folder in Content Administrator->Niew iView->com.sap.portal.appintegrator.sap
then selected Webdynpro.
Followed by created an iView by selecting appropriate settings. What went wrong. But the WD appl is working fine individually. Please help me
regards,
GaneshHi Ganesh,
It seems that you are unable to see webdynpro application into portal for this you need to create webdynpro system and then create webdynpro iview from portals which required parameters like
1) system : which is webdynpro system
2) webdynpro namespace : local/yourtestproject
3) application name : name of the webdynpro application
I am attaching link for your reference.

GaneshHi,
Have you create IView properly?.
Here is the step-by-step procedure to create a web dynpro iView in portal:
1. Logon to portal.
2. Content Administration->Portal Content.
3. Right Click on the folder 'Portal Content'.
4. Select 'iView' ->'New'
5. In the Template Selection, select 'SAP Web Dynpro iView' and click 'Next'
6. In the 2nd step, Give iView Name and iView ID and a prefix. Next.
7. Select application variant, say, 'Java' in the 3rd step. Next.
8. In the 4th step, select the System (Your WAS System), give the project name of your webdynpro, like, local/ABC_Project in the WebDynproNameSpace. In the Application Name, enter the application name of your Web Dynpro Application, say ABC_App. Next.
9. Finish.
10. In the left panel, now you will see an iView has been created.
11. Create necessary role/workset and assign this iView for an user.
Hope this helps.
Kind Regards,

An error occurred while loading this content - only with iPhone not iPad
I know this issue has been discussed to death with no real solution in sight but my case is slightly different:
1. On my new iPad, I select AppleTV (not mirroring), open Safari, then to YouTube and play any HD video. Immediately, the video will be streamed to the AppleTV with no hassle.
2. I do the same on my iPhone 4, 4S or 5 and all I get is "An error occurred while loading this content. Try again later". This occurs without fail.
If I use Jasmine YouTube client, streaming will work perfectly but alas, this app is prone to the error message "Youtube has restricted feeds for this video" and thus, I can't use this.
If I use the new google youTube app, only the audio gets streamed to the AppleTV. I have to use mirroring and the video does not fill the TV screen but leaving a dark border all round. The streaming is not smooth either. The previous youTube app by Apple works perfectly - never had an issue. As soon as iOS6 came along, I end up with all these problems.
Is there a solution to all this? Currently, I use only my iPad for streaming YouTube videos but I really want to use my spanking new iPhone 5 but can't.
I am so sad.
Can anyone help or am I doomed to use only my iPad for this? I am soooo disappointed with the iPhone 5 due to this.Has any other fixes been found. Since I updated to the latest iOS I've been having a similar problem. It doesn't matter what I stream through either. I bought I ATV2 when they first came out and have been using it perfectly fine, however after the last update I haven't been able to stream my movies, tv or even Netflix.
I've also been having issues with my ATV2 connecting to my windows 7 desktop where I store all of my movies and TV shows. I have to deauthorize home sharing and turn it back on for my ATV2 to recognize that it is even on. Frustrating to say the least.
