Error 1051429. Analytical services Product Existent check Fails

Hi,
We want to externalize users from native to shared services.
Note: The Enviornment is UNIX.
Following activities were carried out from our end.
1. Configured database. (Oracle)
2. Registered with shared services.
3. Deployed to Application server. (Tomcat)
4. Ensured that administration services are up after registration.
5. Ensured shared services are working fine.
6. Backed up .sec files, config files and bak files from bin directory and deleted all users except admin user from the
mgt console.
7. We then went on to externalize the users from the Console. This did not succeed.
Error message given was:-
Error 1051429. Analytical services Product Existent check Fails
against the shared services server with error. [Unable to connect to
    shares services , make sure the shared services is running and try
    again.]
When we did not succeed we went to user management console and created a new user , gave it all rights and then tried externalizing that user. But that too failed.
More things done were :-
1 Changed the netdelay settings in config to 3 hours.
2 Set unix server time with shared services time in sync.
3 Re-Registered the Analytical Services as above.
4 Using management console established sync with analytic services (thru mgt console).
Nothing works. Hope someone shall provide a solution soon.

Just check whether services called 'OpenLdap' and 'Shared Service' are running or not if not then please start them and then try to externize users.

    I tried to start Essbase Server many times, but only after restart Shared Services was possible to start Essbase Server with success.
         I checked the connectivity with OpenLdap (through LDAP Browser), Shared Services repository (through SQL*Plus), Shared Services and MSAD Provider and everything is OK.
         Our environment is:
    Sun Solaris 9:
    Shared Services 9.3.0.1
    Analytic Administration Services 9.3.0.1
    Planning 9.2.0.3
    BI+ 9.2.0.3
    IBM AIX 5.3
    Analytic Services 9.3.0.1
    Oracle 10.2.0.4
    WebLogic 8.1.4
    External Authentication: MSAD
    I found some topics with errors alike, but without a solutions. I am with a Service Request in Oracle Support but they could not find a reason to this yet.

  • Essbase Product Existence Check Fails against the Shared Services Server

    Hello Everyone,
    I am a new to Essbase
    When I am launching the EAS web console and trying to log in, its giving me an error saying "Could not connect to Administration Server".
    I looked in ESSBASE log file its showing an error 1051429 : "Essbase Product Existence Check Fails against the Shared Services Server with Error []"
    This error actually started when I copied an Essbase Application from one of my computers to another computer. All I simply did is copied the application folder into "app" folder. I am not sure if migration
    is possible just by copying and pasting the application folders. I am not sure if doing this messed up security with shared services. Also under c:\hyperion\essbase folder I see another text file named "SharedServices_Security_Client".

    Error establishing socket to host and port: chandan:1433. Reason: Connection refused: connect
    The SQL server itself is not running or TCP/IP is disabled. That can be confirmed by runing netstat and see it is listed there.
    Then run telnet chandan 1433 and see it can connect

    When I am trying to resync my securioty from HSS 11.1.1.1 to my essbase 9.3.1 I am getting this folowing error.
    hyperion shared services error 1051522 - Analytical Services failed to get group's member tree with Error MSAD porvider could not be contacted
    I have already checked for any corrupt application on essbase but alll the esssbase apps are fine.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    I am having an BP replication issue from CRM to R3 when i create BP from Web IC with role UTIL_IC. BP gets replicated to R3 if i create BP from GUI.

    i have completed all the required configuration as below
    Setup of no range for BP and assigned to grouping
    PIDE settings in R3
    Setup if account identification profile in IS solutions

    Hi:
    I was trying to update iTunes in my PC and it kept giving an error.  So, I deteted iTunes and tried to download it again but every time I try I't gives me the same error and won"t let me ignore it in order to finish the download.  The error is: "Service "Apple Mobile Device" failed to start.  Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services."
    I don't know what that means. I'm the administrator in this computer. If anybody knows what do I have to do please let me know. Thanks

    Hey I finally got an older vesion of itunes to work!!! 10.7  x64 for windows 7
    After uninstalling all apple products even  quicktime
    I had to delete everything from (program files, and program  files x64, program data,)
    And all downloads from apple, and I went in to search deleted  other stuff from apple, and itunes
    But definently not my itunes library and Playlist
    Down loaded 10.7 x64 for windows 7, but checked (do not start  when done)
    Then I emptied my recycling bin and restarted my  PC
    I ran geek tech tool box same as reg cure pro, also PC Tools  registry cleaner, and CC Cleaner
    Then I emptied my recycling bin and restarted my  PC
    And wallah... It finally works, and I Love the older version  anyways.
    Easier to download and transfer  music!!!!!

    The message server defined in the SAP-Logon is us4278.wdf.sap.corp
    But the url of the web service starts with  http://us4185:58500/wsnavigator/jsps/explorer.jsp?description=WebServiceZ_TEST_Q73_CONFIG_WS
    But I think that's not the problem, is it? As I mentioned above the test page can be shown, but the after filling in the input parameters an pressing send, there appears the authorisation error.

  • Error - Internel EOA Service Buisness System accessor failed

    Dears,
    In our PI 7.1 system when we go to integration builder ->Communical Channel -> Buisness System ->Assign Partner
    We get Error:
    Access to object list of type "Buisness System" using the internel EOA Service Buisness System Accessor Failed.
    Please suggest.

    Hi Shivam,
    You should have two users  PIDIRUSER & PIREPUSER with Roles:
    SAP_XI_ID_SERV_USER
    SAP_XI_MONITOR_J2EE
    And User Type must be service.
    Check whether the users are locked not .
    And passwords for PIDIRUSER & PIREPUSER users should be same as in Local SLD &  Central SLD. (if you are maintaning more than one SLD)..
    Check also these service users are consistent according to note #936093 - XI 7.0: Change passwords of XI service users
    Apply note #764176 Error in XI due to inconsistent SLD contents - this error could be caused by inconsistencies in the SLD.

  • External drive error, does not mount: "Partition map check failed because no slices were found"

    Hardware: MacBook late 2009 (2.26Ghz Core 2 Duo 2 GB RAM 250GB HDD) running 10.9.4, Hackintosh MacPro (3.29Ghz i3 16GB RAM 1TB HDD) running 10.9.4, external 3 TB Seagate Backup+ drive
    As you can can see from the screenshot below,
    The external drive was initially plugged in a Netgear WNDR4500 router by USB to be used as NAS. I was in the middle of updating the firmware when there was a power outage. Upon reboot, the drive no longer mounts, whatever it is plugged in (router, Mac, PC, etc.).
    I ran DiskUtility on the partition map and volume, same errors. Here's an what I see:
    As you can see above, the "Mount" icon is greyed out and I get the error message "Partition map check failed because no slices were found". If I select "the Archive" partition, the "Mount" icon is not greyed out but clicking it doesn't do anything. My HDD is basically unreadable.
    I issued a few Terminal commands to see what was the problem, here are the results:
    What can I do?
    Currently running analysis on TestDisk and it is 50% after 48hrs. Need some help!

    @ Allan Eckert: Unfortunately, reformatting is out of the question, I have 5 years of work on this!
    @ Loner T: Yes, the firmware did successfully upgrade after router reboot and a bit of troubleshoot.

  • During Itunes download for windows 7 64bit, error message says "Service Apple Mobile device" failed to start

    During Itunes installation on my Windows 7 64 bit computer.. I get the following message which won't allow installation:
    Service "Apple Mobile Device" failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.
    This occurred after an itunes update to my computer that produced a corrupted msvcr80.dll file. So I deleted Itunes and reinstalled.

    Redo the install, following the below procedure.   However, when you re-install Itunes,  right click and run the install as administrator.   For Win 7, I think you have to hold down the shift key when you right click and then "run as administrator" will be an option.
    Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
    Remove all of these items in the following order:
    iTunes
    Apple Software Update
    Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
    Bonjour
    Apple Application Support
    Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
    The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

    Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

  • Error when creating service product category in Shopping cart

    Hi ,
    When I am creating a shopping cart for service type product category I am getting an error message
    " Item 1 is created as service item. Please change it to goods".
    Do I need to do some settings to enable shopping for service type?

    First you need to publish your service which you would get from the dropdown fro utilities->setting->its->publish.
    Also check in transaction SICF whether your serivce is actiavted- else activate the same. you can find your serivice under the following path

  • Itunes error during install service apple mobile device failed to start.. help

    I had to install Chrome browser in order to use my gmail account.  Now I cannot open itunes on my Window Vista computer, get a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library. R6034. I uninstall itunes and reinstall itunes 64-bit itunes installer.  During install received error during the 'starting services' process "Service 'Apple Mobile Device' (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privelges to start sytem services. I ignore with the same error message so I abort. At the end of uninstalling I received the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error again. I click ok than an error from itunes. "itunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall itunes. Error 7 (Windows error 1114). I click ok.  Help..

  • Essbase Analytic Service on Windows 2003 Server won't start

    A sytstems admin pushed a lot of updates onto the production Essbase and Shared Services servers last night. This morning the Hyperion S9 BI+ Analytic Services 9.3.1 service on the Essbase Server will not start. Log error says:

    I did restore a .SEC file from before the updates were done, no resolution.

    Hi,
    Seems to be issue with the timing of starts on Shared Service and Essbase Services.
    Try to check in to the complete error file on Essbase, Shared Services to verify whats making the essbase service not to start.
    You can try to verify into the below dissucssion which shows resolution on this kind of issue.
