Error: 1053 Oracleas2ASControl service is not starting

Dear Experts,
As per my earlier question I am finding delay in sending messages. Now I have found an error in my operating system that Oracleoracleas2ASControl services is not starting. When I tried to start i found
Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
In my Architecture, I had 2-nodes,
on 1-node Oracle AS Infrastructure is installed and MT on the other. Infrastructure is working fine but I am facing Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion...when i trying to start service.
I need ur comments in solving this issue. My architechture is in production.
Your earliest response will be highly appriciated and helpful for me.
Thanks in advance,
Saqib

  • Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control ...

    Dear SapService,
I've installed a BI7.0 (ABAP only) instance on cluster with :
    windows 2003 x64 SP2
    SQL server 2005 x64 SP2
    WAS 7.00 kernel 80
*the service runs with domain user.
I've upgraded to kernel 114 (latest). After the upgrade the ASCS service doesn't start. It throws error:
"Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control
    request in a timely fashion"
To solve this problem I've tried:
-go back to kernel 80 but I still get the same error.
-start the service manually on the second node. Still same error.
-restart the two servers and try again to start the service on the
    nodes.
    Any ideas ?
    Please advice,
    Dimitry Haritonov

  • An error 1069 - )The service did not start due to logon failure) occurred while performing this service operation ...

    Hi All,
We seem to be being plagued by the error below by our SQL Server agent. This happens almost everytime we restart the server that has been running for a day or two.
Our SQL Server Agent uses a none expiring domain credential. I understand that this problem only happens when the profile being used by the SQL Servr Agent has changed (password change). What puzzles me is that the login is A ok and no changes has been made to it's password.
We always resolve this problem by changing the login used in the SQL Server Agent to local and after that, returning it back to it's original domain login. Unfortunately, we cant always do this everytime something goes wrong.
Can anyone please help us shed a light on this? We're using SQL2k with SP3a. Thanks!
    Error:
An error 1069 - )The service did not start due to logon failure) occurred while performing this service operation on the SQLServerAgent service.

    Joseph

Ran into this error, and the password was correct. What the System Event Log said:
    Code SnippetEvent Type: Error
    Event Source: Service Control Manager
    Event Category: None
    Event ID: 7041
    Date: 10/8/2008
    Time: 9:33:09 AM
    User: N/A
    Computer: ComputerName
    Description:
The SQLSERVERAGENT service was unable to log on as DomainName\SQLAgent with the currently configured password due to the following error:
Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer.
    Service: SQLSERVERAGENT
    Domain and account: DomainName\SQLAgent
This service account does not have the necessary user right "Log on as a service."
    User Action
Assign "Log on as a service" to the service account on this computer. You can use Local Security Settings (Secpol.msc) to do this. If this computer is a node in a cluster, check that this user right is assigned to the Cluster service account on all nodes in the cluster.
If you have already assigned this user right to the service account, and the user right appears to be removed, a Group Policy object associated with this node might be removing the right. Check with your domain administrator to find out if this is happening.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp
...sure enough it had been removed from the "Logon as a service" list. Hope this helps.

  • 'error 1069 - (The service did not start due to a logon failure) in BAM

I installed BAM on XP SP2, i do have IIS configured and XE DB, after installing when i tried starting the services as per post-installion guide.i did found the error 'An error 1069 - (The service did not start due to a logon failure). In google i could find a remedy saying
Remedy: Go to Start /Programs / Administrative tools / Services. Right-click the Goodlink Server and select Properties. Click the Log On tab. Retype the correct password. Start the Goodlink service.
i did so but did found the same error. So i tried changing a few things in LogOn tab such as " Earlier it was logging in from machine name and pwd , since it gave an error" i changed it to local system account ." now all services of BAM have started except Oracle BAM Active Data cache.
Anyone pls rep how do i resolve this? Do i need to re-install? i need this to be done very urgently.

Windows XP is not a certified platform for BAM. However, the product works fine on XP for evaluations and demos. For production, use a certified/supported version of Windows as is documented in the Software System Requirements section of the BAM Install Guide.
All Postinstall steps apply to all versions of Windows that BAM runs on except for the Postinstall step called "Required Configuration for Microsoft Windows Server 2003". As indicated by the step name, this one is for W2003 only.
"network not found windows 53 error" is generally a network, account or password issue. Please follow the Install Guide step by step to avoid installation issues like this.
See "Troubleshooting Start Page Issues" for start page problems.
As indicated in the Install Guide, you can use host names or IP addresses:
"12. On the Configure location of Oracle BAM step, enter the host name or the IP
address where each component is to be installed, even if it is not being installed at
    this time, then click Next."

  • Oracle10g Installation Error isqlplus service could not start

I have successful installed Oracle10g on Windows 2000 Professional on a machine with no previous installation of Oracle.
I uninstall Oracle9i on another machine with Windows 2000 Professional using the Universal Installer, run regedit to remove Oracle under Software; stop all Oracle Services; delete the oracle physical folder.
I restart the PC and install Oracle 10g, but the following error appear:
Could not start the OracleOraDb10g_home1iSQL*Plus service on Local Computer.
Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
I neglect this error and continue the installation. All services work, e.g. sqlplus, and Enterprise Manager
    http://localhost:5500/em works except
    isqlplis on http://localhost:5560/isqlplus
I check the Control Panel's Administrative Tools, Services and found that OracleOraDb10g_home1iSQL*Plus is starting, but you cannot stop or start it. What happens?
Is there a way to seolve this problem?

I resolve this problem caused by JAVA_HOME path of the Windows 2000's System Variable by changing it to map to c:\oracle\product\10.1.0\Db_1\jdk and then OracleOraDb10g_home1iSQL*Plus service can start successfully on Local Computer

    Hello,
I am trying to create a working service using the New-Service cmdlet. I tried a bunch of different examples, I found on the internet like this one from technet:

The service gets created and is listed in services.msc and Get-Service but I cannot start it. Ever. The state changes to "Starting" but that's all.
I tried it on different machines with different Windows- and PowerShell versions using elevated PS-consoles.

    Hi Chandi,
          If Microsoft fix is not working or it is too old to apply then go for manual process i.e.;
In the Microsoft KB article follow this :-
Services that use the local system account to log on to a Windows Server 2003-based computer start if the Allow service to interact with desktop
option is turned on. To turn this option on, follow these steps:
In the Services tool, click the service that you want to start, and then click Properties.
Right-click the Log On tab, and then click to select the Allow service to interact with desktop check box.
Click OK to exit the Properties dialog box.
       This will solve your problem.

    Kindly help me.
    Regards to all.

    Dear friends,
Thanks for trying to solve my issue.
Sorry dcm.conf file is not deleted. Instead of looking into E:\oracle\FRHome_1\dcm\config path, i was looking dcm.conf file in E:\oracle\FRHome_1\dcm folder.
However, to remind you my problem was restarting the service Click > Services.msc > OracleFRHome1ProcessManager and i am glad to tell problem is solved by copy and paste/overwrite E:\oracle\FRHome_1\opmn\bin files from hostname1 to hostname6 E:\oracle\FRHome_1\opmn\bin( on which process manager was not starting )
    Issue is finally resolved.
    Thanks for your help .

    timely fashion"
At Operations Manager Eventlog I see an error: "OpsMgr Management Configuration Service failed to communicate with System Center Data Access Service due the following exception: System.Runtime.Remoting.RemotingException: Unable to get ISdkService interface.
Please make sure local Sdk Service is running."
At System Eventlog I see an error: "A timeout was reached (30000 milliseconds) while waiting for the System Center Data Access Service service to connect."
Why did it run on the both other servers and failes on the third one? What can I check?
    Regards, Doreen

    Hi,
According to my understanding, after editing the registry key value, two of three management servers work fine now, and the issue only occur to the third one. Whether all those servers are running with Windows server 2012?
I would like to suggest you re-check the service account for the data access service, maybe we can re-enter the account credential. Those three servers may use the same account for the service, make sure the account is not disabled and you enter in the right
    password for it.
Here is a similar thread, please go through it for more details:

In addition, please also restart the third server and check the result, and I know that there is a similar error message in SCOM 2007:
