Error 107 (Downloading from Adobe Download Assistant)

Trying to download Adobe After Effects CS6, Whenever I try downloading it it gives me a Error 107. Using Windows 7, 32-bit. Not my first time using Adobe Download Assistant, I have used it before with absolutely no problems. Help please?

This error indicates that ADA is having trouble connecting to adobe.com. Normally, clearing the cache and cookies should resolve this issue.

    Make sure you have cookies enabled and clear your cache.  If it continues to fail try using a different browser.
    You can also download the trial version of the software thru the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.
    Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

    I've been trying to download the After Effects CS5.5 Trial for over a month now and it is really frustrating because I don't have a problem downloading any other adobe trial just After Effects CS5.5, it says I have a communication error (Error 107) and I know I really don't because I can download any other trial from Adobe Download Assistant. I reallly need help to try to download this program. I don't know if it is that I'm in another country, my server, or something relevant but i would really aprecite it if you could tell me why this is happening.

    Assistanttolindsey the Adobe Download Assistant will download the installation files for Adobe Acrobat Professional XI.  By default they are saved to your download folder.  You can begin the installation process from there.

    Not very long it is a very small download.  The download of the actual software will take much longer.  Are you having problems downloading and installing the Adobe Download Assistant?  If so do you receive any specific error messages?  Which operating system are you using?

    try a different browser and/or different wired connection and/or a download manager.

    and activate with your serial number.
    if you have a problem starting the download, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies. 
    the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com). 
    failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com or initiates the download of an incorrect (eg, current) version.

    I have been able to fix the Acrobat issue, but not the PS issue. The final option listed is to reinstall the software. Since my optical drive not longer functions I suppose I will need to have that repaired first… unless you have another suggestion.
    While I have your attention, can you please help me resolve a Creative Cloud issue I have been having.
    I have been installing CC software successfully until I get to Acrobat XI Pro.
    I receive the message, “Please close the following applications to continue: SafariNotificationAgent”
    I have followed Adobe online instructions but cannot find where to close this function.

  • Reinstall a Download from Adobe

    On Feb 7th, I puchased Photoshop 11 as a download from Adobe.  Earlier this week I had to reset my PC and lost all of my installed software.  I am in the process of reinstalling all the software, however, the software that was downloaded is presenting a problem.  I was previously advised that I must log in to my Adobe Account and use "MY DOWNLOAD" to get the software to download.  I can not find "MY DOWNLOAD", after signing in.  Anyone know where it is?

    If you installed them by download then you will need to do the same when your machine is ready.  If you upgraded to version 12 then as a minimum you will need to have the serial number from version 10 in order to confirm your eligibility for the upgrade activation.  You do not need to have version 10 installed.
    You can check your account online to see if there are links to download the installation files.  If you cannot find them in your account, then here are links to find the trial versions elsewhere - you can activate them to full use using your serial numbers...

    2. Select the book that you are trying to transfer.
    3. Go to File -> Item Info
    4. Check Location.

    I cannot sign in to Adobe Muse's trial at all. It seems to authenticate but everytine it returns to the Sign In window with the options to choose from entering my subscription or start a trial. Does anyone know what can I do to try Muse? I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate with Service Pack 1 and Adobe Muse 1.0 LS10 downloaded from Adobe website. I guess that's the final version.

  • Internet Access Diasabled Following Download from HP Support Assistant

    Downloading from HP Support Assistant a file related to Realtek RTL8723BE.....   disabled access to internet, refused re-enabling, and damaged restore point so system restore could not be used.  Makes me feel I should stay well clear of Support Assistant in the future.  ISP could not remedy the problem.  Had to reset to factory default settings to regain internet access.  More than a little irritating.

    First of all, uninstall your current version of HP Support Assistant by using the Microsoft 'Fixit' on the following link - this is particularly useful in correcting issues that may prevent reinstallation on machines running a 64bit OS.
