Adobe Download Assistant communication error(Error 107) only when I download After Effects CS5.5

I've been trying to download the After Effects CS5.5 Trial for over a month now and it is really frustrating because I don't have a problem downloading any other adobe trial just After Effects CS5.5, it says I have a communication error (Error 107) and I know I really don't because I can download any other trial from Adobe Download Assistant. I reallly need help to try to download this program. I don't know if it is that I'm in another country, my server, or something relevant but i would really aprecite it if you could tell me why this is happening.

64 bit support is required for After Effects CS6.
Please make sure your computer meets the minimum system requirements : http://www.adobe.com/in/products/aftereffects/tech-specs.html
You may also want to download using the direct download links available at : http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html
But make sure you follow the important instructions on the page before initiating the download.

SSL error 107 on Mountain Lion across all browsers.

I'm getting ssl error 107 when trying to access sites that use ssl on both safari and chrome. I've tried a clean version but that didn't work, it still came up with the same error. Any suggestions/solutions?

Hi, check that if you have installed on your mac "Cisco Any Connect" if you have it uninstall it and try again. If that works install it again and check on the installation procedure and "uncheck" Web Security. Hope that solve your problems.

Error 107 (Downloading from Adobe Download Assistant)

Trying to download Adobe After Effects CS6, Whenever I try downloading it it gives me a Error 107. Using Windows 7, 32-bit. Not my first time using Adobe Download Assistant, I have used it before with absolutely no problems. Help please?

This error indicates that ADA is having trouble connecting to adobe.com. Normally, clearing the cache and cookies should resolve this issue.

It isn't the installation of the Adobe Download Assistant which can cause this problem it is where you select to download the install files too. The Adobe Download Assistant would be installed to your Program Files/Applications folder and install files would be downloaded to your user folder, by default, or your desktop.
Alternately you can intitate a direct download by following the steps listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369.

Receiving Error 107 when downloading After Effects

Hiya Ive been struggling to install the trail for After Effects.
I get the Error 107 over and over ive done everything you all have suggested.
Even signed up for that cloud thing , but they didnt have that software for some reason

Which operating system are you using Charr_lyy? Is it 32-bit or 64-bit? You will want to make sure you meet or exceed the current system requirements for After Effects. Please see the current system requirements at http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/system-requirements-effects.html.

Error 107 for After Effects Trial

I upgraded my browser to Internet Explorer 8, I deleted all of my cookies and the installation of the Adobe Download Assistant seems to be working properly until I enter my user ID and password to actually try to begin the download. I've tried to follow all of the recommended troubleshooting in Solution 1 and Error 107 keeps appearing. Any suggestions?

I would recommend trying solution 1 in Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant again but this time remove the Adobe Download Assistant prior to reinitiating the download.
If you continue to have problems you might also want to try setting up a new administrator account and try downloading under that account.

Download Assistant won't work. Error 107.

Download assistant doesn't work. Login works okay but then I get "Error communicating with Adobe. Error 107. Restart download assistant." I'm on Windows XP 32 and restarting the assistant or the machine doesn't help. This worked fine last night but I had to clear some disc space, so I couldn't download last night. I'm trying to get AE 6.

That's probably the reason why Adobe Download Assistant is not letting you download.

Why do I keep seeing error 107?

I try and download the trial of Adobe After Effect [CS5] but everytime I see the error message saying that it can't connect to adobe.com [error 107] I've looked at the solution page and done everything on there but it still won't let me download it

Where are you trying to download the install files too? You can try completing solution 1 in Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-download-assistant.html#main_Solutio n_1.
Also which Internet Service provider are you using? I have had a number of users report this issue but myself and my colleagues have been unable to duplicate this error.
Alternately you can follow the steps listed in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to initiate a direct download. If you could still respond though with your ISP it would be appreciated.

Day 5 after purchase and my downloading problem is still not resolved! Not impressed and I'm out of pocket by $99!!!! If Adobe doesn't live up to its service contract, I'm demanding my money back from the retailer. Maybe I'll start a campaign against Adobe then!

Ross have you downloaded other files successfully previously? If you navigate to the same directory/folder are you able to find the downloaded installation files? Which web browsers have you utilized?
I have requested a member of our support team to contact you directly regarding your download difficulties.
I did also branch off your discussion as it wasn't completely relevant to the Adobe Download Assistant. You have indicated that you are not able to utilize the direct download links either which would not generate an error 107.

Adobe Download Assistant error 107 help

Hi, I've spent the last few hours attempting to download AE trial but to no avail. The download assistant keeps bringing up error 107, I've sompleted solution one and restarted it several times, I've cleared cookies, I moved the location to the desktop instead of Program Files (even though I have admin rights) but it still brings up the error message. Can anybody help? I'm using Windows 7.

What software are you trying to download?
Error 107 indicates that your the Download Assistant is unable to communicate with Adobe.com
Have you had a look at the following document? See Solution 1, which normally resolves error 107. http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-download-assistant.html#main_Solutio n_1
If this does not help, could you also tell us some more details about your computer and network. Windows or Mac? Do you connect to the internet via a proxy server or a software/hardware firewall?

I downloaded adobe Download assistant it lets me log in but when i try to download Adobe Affter Ecceft CS 5.5 it has a pop up that says "error 107, failed communicating with adobe.com" I've tryed to download it on two different computers but the problem happens with both, my operating system is Windows Vista, someone help please what am I doing wrong?

Also please make sure and choose the default of the User folder or possibly your desktop folder. This error is probably happening due to choosing a location such as Program files to download the install files too.

Error 107 in adobe after effects cs6 download

Well I downloaded the free trial of AE CS6 and it said that adobe download assistant had to be installed first so I did. Then Later I had to sign in on adobe download assistant then after that It said
"Invalid Product Context"
"Error communicating with Adobe.com (Error 107.) Restart Adobe download assistant and try to add the product again.
I have done that and I have reinstalled the program after uninstalling it. Still it says the same What should I do?

What OS are you installing on? If you're installing on Windows, After Effects needs a 64-bit version. See http://www.adobe.com/products/aftereffects/tech-specs.html

Adobe After Effects not downloading... keep getting an Error 107

Adobe Download Assistant keeps giving me an Error 107 when I try to download Adobe After Effects. I restart ADA and try to download AE again but it keeps giving me the error. What is weird is that it will download the other software, but just not After Effects... please help!!
