Error -1074360293 (IMAQdx Timeout) after running acquisition for some time

My vision application in LabVIEW does several acquisitions and processings successful but then the acquisition (grab) suddenly fails with a timeout error (-1074360293, IMAQdx: Timeout). The error does not happen when only acquiring the images.
After the error happened no acquisition is possible. Even when LabVIEW is closed MAX returns a timeout error. Only rebooting helps.
some Hardware Details:
3 FireWire Controllers (1394a)
3 Cameras connected to the first two controllers, one to the third (7 cameras total)
Mode for all cameras: 1280 x 960 Mono 8 7.50 fps
The bandwidth for a FireWire controller is sufficient. (Three cameras on one controller run without any problem.)
The memory consume of the application is raising short before or after the error occurs. But I did not find out where exactly.
Before the error happens some minutes until one and half an hour pass.
More details will follow.
Is there a specialist in FireWire or in vision who can help?

Changing the driver to this one seems to solve the issue:
"OHCI-compliant 1394 Host controller (legacy)" (in German: "OHCI-konformer 1394-Hostcontroller (alt)")
With this driver the test has run for more than 66 hours without throwing an error.

[SOLVED] Getting freezes after using dwm for some time and exiting it

Hello, I have an Asus Ux51, with a fresh (less than a month) arch installation. If I recall correctly I had a couple of freezes in other occasions but I don't remember much about those so I rather focus on the only freeze I can more or less reproduce and I've been having lately. After using dwm for some time with a couple of programs opened (rTorrent, browser, and some terminals for instance), if I close dwm or just press the power button to shut down, it starts closing everything and either stays with a black screen, or hangs while X prints the log information. It's not always though, for example, if I just boot it, open dwm and close it without giving it much use it usually closes fine.
Tried googling a bit to see the usual ways to troubleshoot this but didn't get really far.

Found this recent thread in the forums, I'll give REISUB a try late, but the times it freezed I remember trying to blindly reboot it, or switching off virtual console and couldn't.
In case it's of any use, this is my # uname -a

Could it have something to do with the nvidia optimus setup that this laptop has? When installing arch I found out that there was no support yet for it so I'm just using the intel drivers (following what the arch wiki said).
Any ideas or advice to point me in the right direction would be very much appreciated.

I don't start st in my .xinitrc. I launch it from dmenu and usually everything is fine. If I launch it from dwm's internal command using Alt-Shf-Return, X freezes 100% of the time. A workaround was suggested by st's main developer to call st like this:

Very rarely X will freeze anyway. I haven't been able to pin it down. When X fails, my journal returns this:

IPod suddenly starts playing after being inactive for some time

After using my iPod I press the play/pause button and keep it pressed for some seconds to turn the iPod off.
Some hours later -I don't know exactly how long since this usually occurs overnight- the iPod starts playing music!!!
Am I missing something when turning the iPod off?
Does someone have the same problem?
If so, have you been able to fix it?

Is this happening all the time? because i sort of had the same problem..for some unknown reason to me, my iPod kept turning on every morning, and i couldn't find out why. Then i realised i had set the alarm thing on my iPod to 9am every morning, months ago! it could be your alarm setting, otherwise i have no idea! hope i helped!

Macbook 10.5.8 restarts after left alone for some time

If I leave my MacBook alone for 30 + minutes it starts closing Apps and restarts. If I have something unsaved that prevents Logout from occuring.
Any ideas on why this is happening?
My laptop is plugged into a power source and all Power Saver settings are set to Never.
RAM is 2GB
Free Disk space is over 80GB
This has happened since I purchased 2 years ago.
Please let me know if I am leaving out any helpful info.

1074360293 IMAQdx timeout

I need help with this error (-1074360293 IMAQdx timeout). This doesn't fail right away, but it runs for a while and then it fails and eventually LabVIEW will crash (close). I if run the VI by itself no error occurs, but when I implement that into the main program it will fail. I have windows 7 and it is updated to the latest. I searched in the NI discussion forum and it appeared that one person has experienced this issue before and he said that he changed host controller driver to Texas Instrument (TI) HOIC compliant IEEE 1394 and system worked fine. I don't know what is TI HOIC compliant IEEE 1394 and I don't know where to download it and how to install on my computer. If any of you know the solution, please help me out. Attatached is the VI that grabs images and saves to an AVI file.

The problem has been found. I was not about the recording, but it was the screen shot after the recording (this step is on a separate VI that is called after the Recording VI). For now, i don't know what causes LabVIEW to crash, but I will run the screen capture VI alone to find out.

ABAP Program gives error after running successfully for few days / months

I have a problem that sometimes my programs start giving errors or does not run at all after successfully running for few days / months.
But, when I copy the same program with a different name (without any changes ) it starts running again.
Yesterday I had another problem. I was sending a request to be transported to Production Client, and the request was not getting transported. But when I changed just the name of the program, It was transported to Production Client.
I can't understand where the problem lies and what happens to the programs after running successfully for few days. All I have to do is just copy that programm into another name and it starts running.
Can anyone help me?

about the transport thing..i had the same problem few months back the reason was, i included a table which is having different package from my program..so wot im thinking is when you creating a different program u might be assigning different package to this new program and this package is same as all the tables included in your program...

ExpressCache cannot find mSATA after working for some time

I have my T430s with 16 Gb mSATA for cache. After installing ExpressCache and making it work for some time, it suddenly cannot detect the SSD.
An usual solution is to reboot -> hear the annoying beep showing error 2101 -> login in windows -> Shut down -> Turn on the computer and it will work right way (although I haven't test how long it can work). Since it can work smoothly for some while, i don't think it's a hardware issue.
Please see how I can deal with this

Why do you need a 32-bit program?
You're on 10.6.8, so that means a Mac. Unlike with Windows, there are not separate 32- and 64-bit versions of OS X. You can run a 64-bit application like After Effects CS6 even if you're on a system old enough to only support a 32-bit kernel. So if you have an Intel-based Mac running 10.6.8 then AE CS6 should work fine.

I have been running Office 2004 on my Intel iMac with Snow Leopard for some time and all of a sudden I cannot save a document. Word just stopped responding and I have to force quit. I can open Word and create a new document but I cannot save it. I reinstalled Word but that didn’t help. Then went to the Internet and found at least one other Mac user having the same problem which it suggests is caused by a recent Mac Security Update:

So I check for a new Mac Security Update and sure enough there was one. I downloaded it and now Word seems to be working, as it should. I can both open and save files. The only problem remaining is that when I open Word I get the following error message “An unexpected error occurred while trying to load the Microsoft Framework library”. I contacted Apple but they were unable to help.
How can I get rid of this error message?

Look, I realize you might have to get your machine working, so this is how you revert back.
Restore proceedure to pre-Security Update 2012-001 v 1.0 & v 1.1
#1 Backup your personal data off the machine.
Backup files off the computer (not to TimeMachine). If you don't have a external drive, get one and connect to the USB/Firewire port and simply drag and drop copy your User folder to the external drive, it will copy all your files. It's best to have two backups of your data off the machine when trying to restore.
Disconnect all drives now to prevent any mistakes from occuring.
#2 Reinstall OS X 10.6 from disk
Get out your 10.6 install disk and make sure it's clean and polished (very soft cloth and a bit of rubbing alcohol, no scratches) If your disk is borked, you'll have to order a new one from Apple with your serial number.
Hold c boot off the 10.6 disk (wired keyboard, internal optical drive), use Disk Utility First Aid to >Repair Disk of your internal drive (do not format or erase!!), Quit DU and simply re-install 10.6.
Note: Simply reinstalling 10.6 version from disk (without erasing the drive) only replaces 10.6.8 with 10.6.x and bundled Apple programs, won't touch your files (backup anyway) or most programs, unless they installed a kext file into OS X itself. (only a few on average do this)
#3 Update to 10.6.8 without Security Update 2012-001 v1.0 or v1.1
Reboot and log in, update to 10.6.8 via Software Update, but EXCLUDE THE Security Update 2012-001 by checkinig the details and unchecking the blue check box.
#4 Reinstall any non-working third party programs
When you reboot, make sure to reinstall any programs that require kext files installed into OS X, you'll know, they won't work when you launch them or hang for some reason as they are missing the part they installed into OS X.
If for some freakish reason you get gray screen at any time when booting (possible it might occur when you reinstall older programs), hold the shift key down while booting (Safe Mode, disables kext files) and update your installed third party software so it's compatible with 10.6.8.

   For example ,
   I got 10 rules defined in the rule table.
   I want to run 1~5 rules first ,after that run other functions or adjustment and last
   run the following 6~10 rules.
   Is this possible?

But, I think in order to achieve that we also need to separate the source datsources,right?
For example:

And, those s<datasources> are more like a staging data for each step.
We might need to clean up those data after running those rules?
Or,

I have had a trial version of Acrobat X1 Pro - I have decided not to buy at this stage - for some time it has been conflicting with opening PDF docs after "saving as" from word 2007 - I uninstalled Pro X1 and now when I "save as" PDF from word 2007 to PDF it will save the document as a PDF but will not open the document to display after publishing - I have to got to where the file has been saved to view the new PDF document - this is really annoying - do I have to delete adobe reader and reinstall it - adobe needs to look at this conflict with acrobat pro as I have even gone it to properties and tried to have adobe reader as the default PDF program - the main issue is that I cannot view the PDF after publishing it from word 2007
