Error - 1074397153 occurred at IMAQ Grab Setup.vi

The sensor we are using is Goodrich SU640KTSX. I can run SUI image Analysis 3.1 software, Measurement & Automation software, and MATLAB code on an XP machine with no errors when grabbing images. We are tying to build a newer PC;
Dell T7500 with Intel xeon CPU x5650 @ 2.67GHz
Memory; 12GB
OS Win7  64-bit
Camlink card is NI PCIe-1430
Nvidia QUADRO 4000
The error we get is "Error -1074397153 occurred at IMAQ Grab Setup.vi / Cannot detect recognizable video source" when using the SUI image Analysis 3.1 software or MATLAB code. When we use the NI-IMAQ i/o 2.3.1- Measurement & Automation  I can snap, grab and record without any error.
Any help on this would be great
Thanks

Hi,
Let us know which standard your camera is following (whether it is cameralink or ethernet).
Check this link for error info: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/3434173630CBC97686256F8000536593.
If at all it is cameralink camera make sure that you are following proper trigger sequence for your camera. As u are grabbing frames in MAX and not in other acquisition softwares it might be triggering issue or cables problem.

  • Error -1074397038 occurred at IMAQ Start.vi for 64bit Labview 2011 SP1, Win7

    Hello,
I am using a MC1362 camera from Mikrotron with a PCIe1433 framegrabber. I was using it with windows XP, 32 bit, labview 2010 SP1 32 bit, it was working perfectly fine. I just switch to windows 7 with labview 2011 SP1 64bit, and it is not working anymore with my custom routine in labview, though it works with MAX and camera file generator and I use the same camera file.
When I run my routine, I have this error message:
Error -1074397038 occurred at IMAQ Start.vi
    Possible reason(s):
NI-IMAQ:  The requested serial termination string was not found in the returned buffer.
Then, If I try to run the camera with MAX, it doesn't work anymore, I have to reboot the camera, and put it in the right mode with the Mikrotron control tool to obtain an image.
I have seen similar issue on a Basler camera on the forum, and it has been solved by using a camera file to set the different parameters. There is no camera file complete to set all the parameters of the camera, so I had to program them in serial to drive the camera with my Labview routine.
Could you help me to solve this issue please?
    Thanks

  • Error -1074397150 occurred at IMAQ Snap.vi

    Hi.
(Sorry if my English is wrong )
I want to snap a picture - from a camera that was designed in my lab - and save it in a BMP file.
I use the "IMAQ PCI-1428" to accomplish this task and the "HL snap&save to BMP.vi".
But, as I try to run the VI I'm getting this error - "Error -1074397150 occurred at IMAQ Snap.vi", afterward I'm getting
another massage - "ERROR(DMA Timeout): The system is unable to capture all of the incoming video data....".
What should I do, to resolve this problem?
    ThanX.

    Hi elbit,
Here is a link to Error
Codes with NI-IMAQ.  You error is
addressed there and that information may be helpful to you.
I noticed you were using the PCI-1428 framegrabber card.  This card supports Camera Link cameras.  In order to tell the PCI-1428 how to
communicate with the camera, the NI-IMAQ driver uses a camera file that
contains camera specific information for configuration.  You will need to have a properly configured
camera file for you camera that you have created.
NI has a large number of camera files that are created and
certified to support popular industrial grade cameras.  In cases where a custom camera file is needed,
    NI provides the NI-Camera
File Generator as a utility for camera file creation.  Keep in mind that custom camera files are not
supported by National Instruments Applications Engineers.
Good luck with your camera design.  Please let us know if you have any further
    questions or concerns.

  • Error from IMAQ USB Grab Setup in executable

I created an executable that returns
Error 1074396024 occured at IMAQ USB Grab Setup.vi
IMAQ Vision: Minimum coverage value should be greater than zero.
I developed the executable on a 32 bit machine with LabVIEW 2009 and the Vision Development Module 2012 SP1. The target computer has LabVIEW Vision Development Module 2012 and LabVIEW Run-Time Engine 2009 SP1 (32-bit Standard).
Other people on the forum have had this error, and I tried everything they suggested. I continue to get the error. I have also tried downloading IMAQ and Vision Aquisition Software, but I get the same message. Some people have had problems with versions of LabVIEW in different languages, but I am only using english. Is this problem caused by not having the correct run-time engines?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

    Hello Eckman,
Do you have the Vision Development Module Run-Time Engine (VDM RTE) installed on your target machine? You will need the RTE to run vision applications as a deployed executable.
    Vision Development Module Run-Time Engine 2012 SP1
Please let me know if you install the run-time engine (or already have) an still receive the same error message.

I have built a vi from a visoin assitant file via the automated vi creation under tools in vision assitant. The vi works fine on a single file but then the input control is changed to select an entire directory it crashed with

    Hi Patrick,
Sorry it's taken so long to get back to you.  The function you are trying to use doesn't actually support reading of many files at a time (batch processing), what you will have to do is extract all of the path names individually and then complete paralel processing on all of the images.  (The image constant that is passed to each of the functions can only store one image at a time)
I have taken your vi and changed it slightly to allow for this functionality.
    I hope this helps

  • IMAQ 1394 Grab setup and Grab acquire

    Hi, everyone
I am very new to Labview and have a general question on grabbing images using my CCD camera.
I set "IMAQ 1394 configure trigger.vi" before " IMAQ 1394 grab setup.vi" and then achieve the most current using " IMAQ 1394 grab acquire.vi".  The configure trigger is on Mode 0 (Low activity) and my digital trigger is a pulse train with a trigger frequency of 10Hz.
    My questions is as follows:
    1. How many images will the camera grab when the trigger turns to a falling edge? Just one or the camera will grab continuously?
If the camera grab continuously, which image is copied when a "IMAQ grab acquire.vi" is called?
2 Does the image grabbing process stop when the trigger turns to the rising edge?
    Thanks!

    Hi Haiyueli,
The NI-IMAQ for IEEE 1394 has been replaced by the IMAQdx driver. We usually recommend that you upgrade your driver. That being said, I would recommend looking at the help to determine what the mode does. To do this right click the VI and select Help. This should give you a more in-depth look at the function.
Here is a forum post which describes mode 1:

  • AppleID 2-step authentication setup - an unknown error has occurred

as the title says, I've tried twice to setup 2-step authentication and always end up with a "an unknown error has occurred" once I confirm (click the checkbox) to enable the security option.
I was able to setup my SMS number, verify 2 devices and re-entered my recovery code when I was prompted.
All I get at the end is: "an unknown error has occurred"
I have to restart the entire verification process after this happens.

well.. I just tried it again today and it appears to be working now.. I guess there was just a "glitch" with their systems yesterday.

  • Cannot Setup BBM - Temporary Bbm server error has occured

    I'm using a BB curve 9380 OS 7.1
    Carrier - Vodafone.
I have 84.8 MB free of Application Storage.
I haven downloaded only Whatsapp and Screen Grabber.
I recently downloaded BBM 8 and the the very next day l have problems with changing my display picture. I tried rebooting the phone quite a few times but it didn't help.
So I downloaded BBM 7 hoping it would work normally. But I started facing the same problem again.
Then I decided to download BBM 6.2. I lost all my bbm contacts and once I started re-adding people I wasn't receiving any updates.
Then a friend suggested I do a security wipe of my phone. After which the phone worked normally but I still faced problems with BBM I would always get the message " Cannot Setup BBM - A temporary BBM server error has occurred".
I have a back up of my BBM contacts which can only be restored on the BBM 7&8 versions
    I have also tried:
    Resending service books
And also registering the device through Host Routing Table.
Hope someone can help me with this

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
    This KB exists:
KB33652"Temporary Server Error" or "There is no BBM account associated with this email address" is displayed when attempting to move an existing BBM account to the BlackBerry 10 smartphone
Unfortunately, it offers nothing useful...hence, I recommend you contact your mobile service provider for formal support and likely escalation up to BlackBerry for enhanced support.

  • IMAQ "Error -1074396199 occurred at Invalid Coordinate System" why this error coming please provide the sol.

Error -1074396199 occurred at Invalid Coordinate System error is coming when i try to run the VI. i had used simple 3 things first is Orignal image than colour extract then pattren maching then coordinate system.
But it gives error during run time.
    PLease solve...
    Gagandeep sharma

This could have any number of causes.  Maybe the image size was changed, or the coordinate system did not carry over after an Image Copy, or Image save.  More datails would be helpful to make a better determination.

I am trying to output an IMAQ Image to a network variable. However, when I run the VI I receive the error message "Error 42 occurred at ni_tagger_lv_Write", "Possible reason(s): LabVIEW: Generic error."
Is there some kind of setup I need to perform to get network variables working? All I did was add one to the project and configure it as a variant. As a side note, the program works fine using "single-process" variables as opposed to "network-published" variables.
edit: I am using LabVIEW 8.2.1
Message Edited by thorholiday on 06-25-2007 12:09 PM

There is a problem sending certain datatypes to network published Variant Shared Variables.  This problem (Error 42) still exists as of LV 8.6.1.  See my post here:
