Error 11556 cant make a ringtone from apurchased track

This error message kees coming up when i try to make a ringtone for my iphone, from a track inmy library. it reads 'itunes could not connect ti itunes store, unkown error occured. (11556)
It keeps doing this.

Thanks for the question. I understand you are receiving a "Not enough free space" alert when attempting to sync your new iPhone 4s. The following article may help to resolve your issue:

Resolution
Try disconnecting and reconnecting your device, then syncing again to solve this issue.
Orphaned files may remain on your iOS device if it is physically disconnected while syncing music, podcasts, videos, or photos. This can prevent iTunes from syncing the iOS device on subsequent sync sessions. When this happens, the Capacity indicator in iTunes may report a large amount of "Other" disk usage for the iOS device. To resolve this issue:
1. Turn off the music or photo sync option in iTunes for the device.
2. Click Apply to sync the changes to the device.
3. Turn the music and photo sync options for the device on again.
4. Click Apply again to try to sync the device to iTunes.
          - If the 'Not enough free space' alert appears, continue to step 5.
5. Turn off the automatic syncing functions for the iOS device. To do this:
          - Select the iOS device from the iTunes window and click the Summary tab.
          - Deselect "Automatically sync when this device is connected" and select the "Sync only checked songs and videos" checkbox.
          - Click Apply to sync the changes to the device.
          - Reduce the amount of data that is being synced to the device and resync the device. For example, if syncing your Music library exceeds the memory capacity of the device, choose "Selected playlists" to transfer rather than "All songs and playlists" under the Music tab in iTunes.
If the 'Not enough free space' alert appears, continue to step 6.
6. Restore using iTunes.

How do I make a ringtone from an app my default on my iphone?

I downloaded a song from an app on itunes on my iphone 5 and I cannot figure out how to make it my default ringtone. My mac OS.X 10.6 will not retrieve ringtone from phone and I cannot get a downloaded audio book from my mac onto my phone either. I tried connecting my iphone which "automatically syns" and downloads photos and some songs but not all of them. When I go to devices on my mac it is not "bolded" so I cannot even select my iphone as a device to try to view my library, organize it, or drag and drop songs onto my phone if I were to put them onto my desktop. SO Frustrating!

you have a very legitimate point. To my knowledge, there is no more secure way for archival storage than a DVD stored in a dark, cool, plastic enclosed jacket (to protect from scratches). after experiencing hard drive SATA storage discs (time capsule failures in particular) fail, want to go back to DVD storage, but now everyone wants to sell you a new program and 2 TB backups.
So what to do? Dumb down my Lion OS back to Leopard and go back to the good old days when I could get something done?
Having "switched " from MS to Mac almost 4 years ago, ready to go back. I had fewer hassles with my computers, got more done, and had lower blood pressure ten years ago than I do now, although Windows is always a "Johnny come lately" when it comes to any new innovation, having merely perfected the art of monopoly. lately though, have become very disenchanted with Apple, and will not be replacing /repairing my MacBook pro, macMini, iIMac when they finally break.
Is there any you tube site that someone could show me how to simply plug my Sony 8mm camcorder with the old Motorola style plugs (also has an S -video option) to the Mac Mini and burn the DVDs one by one? No editing. no fancy stuff. Just a straight out burn for archival storage? I want to get that done first before I mess with the hard drive back ups.

UK iPhone! Since i cant convert a ringtone from music purchased in UK

What other way is there, i tried looking up some previous posts but it all looks very complicated and i cant work it out.
Anyone give me an uncomplicated step by step way of getting my own ringtones on my iphone?

Take any audio file
Make sure that it is in the AAC format.
Make sure that it is less than 30 seconds long.
and
Rename it with .m4r as a file extension.
Once you have the file, import it into iTunes - and it will be synced onto your iPhone.
That's all you have to do.
You can use Garageband to do the editing. If you are on a Mac.
If you already have a bunch of MP3 ringtones - load them into iTunes. Convert them to AAC. Drag the AAC files onto your desktop. Rename them as .m4r - and load them back into iTunes.

Going to Menu>Settings>Tones>Ringing tone should find compatible music files wherever they are on the phone. However, many protected tracks are prevented by Digitial Rights Management from being used as tones.

Logic error(I cant make it do what i want) plz help

im writing a program for my lab at school and i cant figure out how to make it work. i thought i had figured it out, its close but not all the way there. im supposed to write a program in which 2 dice are rolled and the sum is added up. the dice should continue to be rolled until i get all possible sums ( 2 to 12) and it should display how many tries it took. this whole process should be repeated as many times as the user wants to play. it works fine the 1st tiime but after that it keeps printing out 0. anywhere heres how i have it written.public void rollForSum(int trials) {

Well I can see you've had a go, so good on you, but there are several problems.
You seem to be doing your counter incrementing in the wrong places, and in any case, you'd be better to use "for" loops for the fixed loops because they make the functionality clearer - something like this:public void rollForSum(int trials) {

}However, I don't think this actually does what you want, because you are counting the number of tries to get a 2, then the number of tries to get a 3 and then the number of tries to get a 4, and so on up to 12. I suspect what you really should be doing is count the number of tries to get at least one of each number. To achieve that, you need to hold a flag saying whether you have found each number separately, and a counter of the numbers found so far.
I would do this by holding an array of booleans and a counter then you only need two loops, one "for" loop for trials, and an inner "while" loop (like you used) like this:int tries = 0;

It looks like the job is being cancelled because of the missing fonts.
In Distiller, are the job options set to Cancel the job if the font is missing? Do the Font folder locations include folders where those fonts are found?
Is this all PS files, or just one PS file? Or just one application?

Cant find my ringtones from my 3gs to put on my new 4s HELP

All music and movies purchased transfered. But I'm not seeing my ringtones that I had purchased on my Iphone 3gs to transfer as well. Wouldn't mind if was one or two... But 13 of them... HELP!

Also, they show on my itunes list but are a light gray. They arent able to play or be clicked on.

I used RingMaker to make a ringtone from a song I had on my phone. Everything went fine until I tried to drag the ringtone from my iTunes Library to my iPhone Ringtones.

Findthe file icon, right-click, and choose Open With > iTunes.
If the file is compatible, it will be added to your library and start playing.
If "nothing happens," the file is not compatible with iTunes.
In the latter case, if you are sure it is a valid MP3, it may have minor coorruption that can be cleaned up with a tag repair program.
