Error: 130:11

When I try to open a PDF, I get an error: 130:11, which has to do with a licensing problem.  I have re-downloaded and install Adobe Reader three times and a Creative Cloud customer.  I want to be able to open the PDFs and print them.  Help.

What is your operating system?  What is your Reader version?  Are these local or online documents?  If online, in what browser?
Also, is there anything else beside the numbers 130:11 ?

    I've now un-installed & re-installed Acrobat X Pro a couple of times in order to get over the issue of Config Error 130:11 - which causes the application to quit (see link to original thread below).
    However, I cannot afford to do this continuously - where do I go from here?

    Hi there,
    The workaround we have right now is to:
    Launch any other CS6 product (such as Photoshop or InDesign)
    It will pop-up trial screen at launch.
    Click on License this software and restart subscription.
    Launch Acrobat X after this. It should launch fine
    Our engineering team is working on getting a permanent fix available for this issue.

  • Error 130:11 in Adobe Acrobat X Pro

    Whenever I try to open the application of Adobe Acrobat X Pro a window pops up with an error 130:11 message. It says to try to restart  your computer and I have done that a plethora of times and it has not helped. What else can I do or what does this error mean?

    Please check that you do not have any previous versions of Acrobat installed on your machine.
    Also, try out the solutions mentioned for error 130:10 in the KB doc link given below:

  • Acrobat error 130:11

    What is the Acrobat error 130:11? it says there is a problem with my creative cloud license. I just started and paid for my subscription and it has been working fine since I installed it one week ago.

    It only took me a day to experience the same issue. I'm taking the same, long, unistall and reinstall tack to try and fix it again. This time I also uninstalled Acrobat Reader X figuring maybe there are some shared registry entries that may get reset on this new install. The download is taking forever compared to yesterday's effort. By the way, why can't the Application Manager invoke uninstallation? It's not much of a "manager" since it only appears to do installs. Again the install failed, this time I'm capturing details which follow:

    I have Bridge and InDesign open (trying to do some work while troubleshooting this issue), so perhaps the DLL is in use?
    I shut down all Adobe apps and ran install again. Similar message but different files that can't be overwritten:

    Great. Third install attempt also failed. I run my system as an admin, but I'll see if I can restart Application Manager with sysadmin priveleges. I don't know what the "OS requirements..." messages are about.

    How is this connection being made?
    Is it Oracle Forms, SQL*Plus, Java, .NET, JDBC etc?
    The error message doesn't look like a standard ORA-XXXXX oracle error so I would suggest the message relates to the application trying to make the connection.

  • I have an error 130:9 in Photoshop Elements associated with AMT Subsystem failure. I have tried Licencerecovery109. Did not work. I cannot uninstall Photoshop Elements. I get an error 1316 and the program is reinstalled. Please advise.

    Just to summarise:
    If I run Photoshop Elements I get a window headed "AMT Subsystem failure".  It states "This product has a problem which requires that you restart your computer before it can be launched. If you continue to see this message etc. contact Adobe Technical Support etc. Error 130:9. http etc".
    I have tried to run LicenceRecovery 109. This did not work. I have tried other suggestions on the internet. Nothing worked. This included resetting FLexnet.
    I then tried to uninstall and reinstall Photoshop Elements. There is no repair facility. The uninstall gets about 95% through and then stops and replaces all the files. I get a window headed "Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.0 Setup".  It states "Error 1316. A network error while trying to read from the file C:\windows\installer\adobe photoshop elements 8.0.msi."
    That is the details of the two screen dumps which I have.
    Please advise.

    I'm an adobe cloud subscriber - today I tried to open a PDF file using Acrobat X and I received error message 130:11.  I followed the prompt and restarted my machine - then received error adobe could not connect to DDL server?
    So online to looked for help and found a suggestion to try Adobe Aplication Manager to check for updates - but this errors with corruption and suggests contact customer service - which does not appear to actually be?
    I also now get Adobe files appear to be counterfeit - validation errors?

    After going through the link, if you find that the OS that your prod is installed on is formatted with a case-sensitive file system, installing the product on a different drive could be one option.
    Meanwhile, could you please share the following logs?
    Mac:
    1. Go > Go to Folder > write /tmp & press enter and copy logs: amt*.log, oobelib.log
    2. Go > Go to Folder > write ~/library/logs & press enter; copy logs: PDApp.log
    3. Go > Go to Folder > write /library/logsAdobe/Installers & press enter and copy logs: Adobe Photoshop Elements *.log.gz

  • Steam Client showing error 130

    Every time I open the steam client I get Error code -130. There is nothing wrong with the servers as I an access them through a browser. I read on another forum that this occurs because steam tries to access the store through proxy. I have disabled proxies but am still getting the same error.

    This is what I did as a temporary fix (YMMV as server browser may timeout and not connect, in which case just exit the game completely and restart steam.)
