Error 1310 on trying to install Adobe Acrobat X Pro. Software will not install.
In trying to install Adobe Acrobat X Pro from either a purchased DVD or from an Adobe download I get an Error message: Error 1310 and the installation will nor proceed. It asks to verify access to C:\Program Data\Adobe\ Adobe PDF\Distiller\Startup\example.ps. This complete directory is present in my C:\ drive. How do I verify this access and what must be done to successfully install Acrobat X Pro?

Error 1067: when trying to update Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro
I have Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro and have been using it for over 3 years. I Changed computers and uninstalled it from my first and then reinstalled it in my new, but have run into a problem that I cannot find an answer to, nor can I get any help from Adobe.
I will be notified that there are updates available and I will select yes to update the program, but after 20-30 second, a new window will pop up stating:
Update Failed
The process terminated unexpectedly.
Error: 1067
Details (http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/update-errors-acrobat-reader-windows.html)
From there, I will click on the Details link and be sent to an Adobe page telling me:
Try downloading Reader directly from this page.
This link sends me to a page to download the latest version of Adobe Reader (http://get.adobe.com/reader/direct/), so, I will make all of the selections, download it, install it, restart my computer, but when I open Acrobat 9 Pro and try to run the update again, nothing changes and I receive the same error message.
Now, I go to try and get some help from Adobe, but am just sent here to see if I can find out any other information because they "no longer" help with Acrobat 9 Pro(?).
Does anyone have any answer on what I can do to fix this or why this is happening? I've never had any problems with this program before. It just all started when I changed computers, and this one is a brand new computer, so no bugs or anything. I installed Photoshop CS5, Illustrator CS5 and InDesign CS5 without any problems and they all updated without a problem.
I'm not sure how important the updating really is, but it makes me feel better, knowing that any changes or problems with the program can get "fixed" with these updates.
Thank You,
SeanNot that it is going to ease the testing of your patience at all to suggest you try somewhere else, but there is a forum dedicated to Acrobat Installation and Update Issues that might have some info or people ready and able to help you:

Error 193: When trying to update Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro - Any help?
I have had Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro for a few years and have loved using it. I have always updated the program and kept it up to date, but I have run into a problem.
I was changing computers, so I deactivated all of my Adobe products, uninstalled them and deleted all of the information from it. I then start working and installing the programs into my new computer when it froze and crashed. I ended up having to return the computer and have it worked on, but I did deactivate and unstall all of the programs from the computer before doing so. Now I'm back to my old computer and have started having some trouble. I reinstalled Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, went in to run the updating, but as soon as it checked and let me know there were updates available, I said start and a box popped up reading:
Does anyone have a reason the occurred and what options I have to correct this? I searched and read that one of my options was to go into Adobe (http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows) and run the updates manually, but that would mean downloading and installing over 20 updates, one by one. I know that I don't have to keep restarting my computer after each one and only after the last, but there has to be another way. That would take me a couple of hours where I couldn't leave my computer.
I did try to uninstall the program again and then reinstall it, but no I had luck there. I received the same error message telling me that the update failed.
Can anyone help me let me know why this is happening and what I can do to prevent/stop this?
Thanks,
SeanPlease read this below:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms682425(v=vs.85).aspx (look for “…If you are using a long file name that contains a space..))
Updater downloads all the updates into AllUsers folder.
Somewhere in the path to this folder you most likely have a file that has the same name as partial folder name.
For example, on XP this folder is C:\Documents and Setting\.."
If you have a file C:\Documents.exe Updater will fail with error 193 -

Hi 4blake4,
I am sorry that you are experiencing this issue.
Is there any error message or any error code once you launch the application?
If you are using CS6 Suite please follow these steps :-
Launch another CS6 application, such as Photoshop.
Choose Help > Deactivate.
Follow the onscreen prompts to deactivate.
Close the application.
Launch the same CS6 Suite product again.
Sign in with your Adobe ID associated with CS6 suite to re-activate.
Launch Acrobat X

Trying to install Adobe Acrobat X Pro and it will not install.
It says "the wizard was interrupted before Adobe Acrobat X Pro could be completely installed." Not sure what is interrupting the installation. It is a PC with Windows 7 64-bit. I tried installing twice already.
Yes. My problem is fixed. I went through the forums and found a solution from user silvasilva3 .
Running a check disk worked.

Andersif you follow all 7 steps you can directly download a trial here: http://prodesigntools.com/all-adobe-cs5-direct-download-links.html
and activate with your serial number.
if you have a problem downloading, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com -
Problems Installing Adobe Acrobat XI Pro via CreativeCloud
Hi,
I am having difficulty in installing Adobe Acrobat XI Pro onto my Windows Vista SP2 machine, via the Creative Cloud platform. The Adobe Application Manager has installed, and whenever I look through the application list Adobe Acrobat XI Pro is not in there (despite me paying for the year subscription). Secondly, when attempting to download via the web interface of CreativeCloud the Adobe Application Manager gets brought into view, but still the application does not install or download - and does not present me with any error messages.
Thoughts please?Hi PrepetrolLtd,
Acrobat XI is not recommended for windows Vista and that is the reason it wont show up in Adobe Application Manager.

Issues Installing Adobe Acrobat XI Pro
Hi,
I have tried installing Adobe Acrobat XI Pro and having issues once the install is complete. A prompt comes up telling me that the serial number provided is valid but a qualifying product could not be found on this computer.
It asks to select a product from a list given but there is no Acrobat XI Pro listed and also asks for the Serial Number again.
Any idea what the issue is?
ThanksHi, I originally had a free trial installed and when it ran out I just purchased a new licence. I was sent a serial number for the new licence. I also have a free version of Adobe Reader XI installed as well.
I removed un-installed what was initially installed but still get the same message. Any suggestions?
