Error 13109 for manual sync Ipod

I manually sync my nano and I have read the unysnc and resync help. Since I manually drag my music, I cannot click sync or it will delete all my music. How can I get rid of this error without loosing all my music?

Ive fixed this issue before. The steps are kinda long but they work.
This is for windows computers with iPod nano that get the error 13019 during or after a sync with iTunes.
-Open itunes
--click, edit, click preferences
--select advanced
---make a note of the iTunes media folder location on a notepad.
---put a check in organize files
---take the check out of copy files
---click ok
--Click file, at the top of iTunes
--move mouse over library, select organize, and consolidate files. ( This ensures all music in you iTunes will be in the iTunes media folder later.)
At this point, if you have playlists you want to save:
-Create a folder on your desktop, call it, playlists
--Hover you mouse over your playlist in iTunes, should be at the bottom of the blue/grey column on the left.
--right click the playlist, select export playlist
--Navigate to your desktop and open the playlist folder and save.
---Do this for each playlist you want to save
-Close itunes
-Click your start button, and open computer or my computer
--Using what you wrote down on your note pad, follow the path to the "iTunes folder", NOT the iTunes media folder
--Open the iTunes folder.
--Stop here
-You will see icons that look like folders and you will see icons that look like files-
-You will KEEP the FOLDERS
-You will DELETE the FILES
--If it makes you more comfortable you can cut the files out and paste on your desktop, but as of now we do not need the files any longer as we have the playlists backed up. Remember-Keep the folders.
--That was the magic--
-Disconnect your iPod if connected.
-When you open your iTunes, it will be empty, that is OK. We are recreating the library. Everything will come back in a few seconds.
-Click file at the top
--Select, add FOLDER to library, not to be confused with add file.
--In the window that pops up, locate and click on computer or my computer
--From here follow the path to the iTunes media folder on your note pad, but do not open the iTunes media folder.
--Click the iTunes music/media folder one time so it highlights.
--On the bottom right you will have option to select folder, or choose folder or OK. Hit that button.
All you music will start to import back into iTunes.
-Plug in iPod after completed
--a message pops up about being synced with a different library.
--Click erase and sync
--Watch all your songs go on your iPod with no error message.
From here you may sync your iPod the way you want with out worrying about the persnickety error 13019!!!!!
Hope this helps!!!
Julian
p.s. Follow the directions exactly.
p.s.s. To add your playlists back to iTunes:
-Click file at the top of the screen
--move your mouse over library, selecte import playlist
--on the new screen that pops up, navigate to your desktop
--open the playlist folder, select the first playlist, hit ok
--repeat for each playlist exported

  • UNUSUAL error messge w/ manually synced iPod

I have an unusual problem that I have never encountered before when playing my music through iTunes off my manually synced 80G iPod.
an error comes up every time i change the song and it says "The iPod 'K-Bills' i-Pod' cannot be synced. There are too many files open currently."
it pops up EVERY TIME a song changes automatically or when i change the song....and it won't stop...its annoying and i was wondering if anyone has any solutions or possible ways of fixing this?

Thank you! IATechGuy's post worked. I was digging through that thread for a while before posting here and gave up too soon I guess.

  • Manual syncing ipod 30 G

I am having a problem turning the preference to manual sync. Everytime I try to do that, the computer freezes and after a while it shows a message saying that an unknown error occured(-50) and that the preference cannot change. The auto sync works just fine, but I want to deside what I want to sync and not the ipod. Please help.
The computer as well as the ipod are brand new. The computer is a laptop with Windows XP

Plug it into the computer and after it mounts, do a Restore on it.

  • Msg. error BK048 for manual cost allocation

    Hi,
we got a warning message for manual cost allocation (KB15N), when posting this allocation just with a quantity and without an amount. We would like to post this allocation without amount and therefore need to change the message type from warning (W) to information (I), to do this posting.
When using transaction OBA5, there is just a fixed and not adjustable value for Standard with "W". Do you know any workarounds or how we can change this message type to do this posting?
    Regards
    Florian

    Hi Florian,
HAve you assigned users in OBA5?.
Go to OBMSG, for this particular Message number in the allowed message types, specify IWE etc. In the standard column specify I. Also you could check on check box "Switch Off" if you want to have the option of not seeing the message at all.
Now goto OBA5, against the message number, in the "Online" column , specify I or - (Switch Off) and do the same in the BAtchl column also.
Now you need too specify a user only if you want this change for specific users , if you want all the users to be able to post manual cost allocation then do not specify any user name.
Do tell me if it works.
    Regards
    Susan

  • Error -25170 - can't sync iPod

I just downloaded the newest version of iTunes and now cannot sync my iPod.  I get a message: unknown error -25170.
    Any advice?  Thanks all!
    Paul

    Hi all,
I am sorry to report that I too have this same disc error problem when syncing my iPod to my iTunes library. I take no comfort in knowing that I am one of many that have this same error. I checked on the iPod lounge forum and I just couldn't count the number of users that had the same problem. There are just so many!
I too have tried "5 r's" and I have also tried using a few "s" words and others...lol.
It seems like there is no "fix" for this problem but I will say this: If there is no solution, then I will no longer be buying iPods. This is my third iPod that I have purchased. Which makes my Apple investment near the thousand dollar mark. That is way too much money spent to not have a functioning music player. I will be switching to another player to see if the grass is greener on the other side.
I have been most dissappointed with this error and I will not be "recycling" this iPod for ten percent off of my next iPod purchase.

  • Manual sync iPod

Does anyone know how to change the settings on iTunes so that the iPod does not auto sync when I connect it, but change the settings whilst the iPod is not connected? I cannot seem to do it, but it seems ridiculous that you cannot do this! Please help!

You can use a keyboard command to prevent your iPod auto-syncing with iTunes. While connecting the iPod to the computer on Windows with iTunes 7 installed hold down the Control and Alt keys (or Shift + Ctrl keys in older versions). This will stop the iPod from auto-syncing with iTunes and the iPod will appear in the source list. Wait until you are sure the iPod has mounted, and that it will not auto sync and then you can let the keys go. This may take between 20 to 30 seconds depending on your computer, once you are connected you can change your update settings to whatever you want: iTunes 7 Keyboard Shortcuts for Windows

  • BPM error handling for async/sync

    Hi,
I am using an async/sync bpm for sending a message from SAP using outbound proxy to call a synchronous web service.
Now, if I get a fault message from web service the queue will be blocked for other messages to flow through as it is an EOIO.
Can anybody suggest how can I get the fault message and errors out in PI with a red flag and not block the other messages to flow through in this design? I cannot change this design as it is the business IT suggestion to go through in ths way.
    -Mike

How can a queue be blocked behalf of an error in a sync message?
    I do not understand this.
Where is EOIO in this scenario?
The answer for this question from Stefan is below
The EOIO in this scenario is the first asynch proxy call from SAP.
But when I get a fault message back from the synchronous web service, it will throw an error in SAP PI.
And what will happen to the next asynch message from proxy? Will it be send across with no issue without correcting this error? I am not sure how this async sync queue work??? And also what is the exact difference btw EO and EOIO?
Why asynch proxy is EOIO and not EO.

  • Manually Syncing iPod Touch With iTunes

On my old iPod Classic I had it set up where I could download music into iTunes and manually drag the album to my iPod. I can't remember how to set it up so I can do that with my iPod Touch. Right now it is syncing automatically and I don't want it to do that. I want to be able to load music from iTunes to my iPod and then delete them off of iTunes. but I also want them to stay on my iPod after I delete them from iTunes.

Check the Manually manage music box.

I have reinstalled the itunes and real time but am still getting the following message: Some of the tunes in the itunes library were not copied to the ipod because they cannot be found. 100+ problems - keeps selecting different tunes.

    Hi Jullo59,
If you are having issues with iTunes being unable to locate files, you may need to rebuild the iTunes library. The following article may be helpful:
