  • I am using iphone 4S with sprint carrier with IOS 7 and has error 1394

I am using iphone 4S with sprint carrier. It has IOS 7 and now I want to downgrade to IOS 6 and I have downloaded a firmware it is compatible with 4S. Now it shows error 1394 and I have tried to fix my host file in windows according to other forums in internet. But I haven't seen this line in my host file to change it
    "74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com" to "#74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com".
PLease suggest me some solution for this problem

There is no approved method to downgrade. Your attempt to load a non-standard iOS file is causing the error. If you want to use your phone, you are going to have to try and restore it to the latest iOS compatable for that device which is iOS 7.0.4, otherwise it will not work and you will continue to see the error. Apple is no longer signing anything below the current iOS, so it will never activate.

  • Error 1394 on Cisco Unity 5.1

Can anyone help me with the below error message? This happens about 15 times a day or more on the Unity 5.1 system. By the way... I don't have an H:\ drive on the system that is referenced in this error - this was a canned install off of the DVD. I have 2 partitions - 20 GB and 180 GB or so. Drives C: and D: on the two partitions.
    Thanks in advance!!!

    Hi imobl,
    Thanks for the reply.
My issue is that I never actually backed up contacts or camera roll to any program like outlook or image viewer etc. Contacts and photos were just kept on the phone. I have been able to  view the itunes backup file  that is on the computer. The backup file has all my contacts and images on there.
Are there any ways to get these contacts and images back into my ipad 2?
(I have tried to import the contacts files from the itunes backup file into outlook but outlook does not understand the format.
I have also tried to import the picture files from the itunes backup file into Irfanview but Irfanview doesnt understand the format either)
I just realised I wrote the iphone model incorrectly. It was a 3 (not 3g) so I wasnt able to track it unfortunately as it was not able to connect up to Icloud etc

  • White screen of death but can see screen when hold down power button?

I've had my iPod Touch 4g for a few months (in December it will be a year) and for the past two months, I haven't been able to use it because of the white screen of death. I tried reseting it, restoring it (which didn't work because of error 1394 or something like that) and NOTHING seemed to work. Today, I decided to try restoring it again, and it worked!...for all of two hours.
Now I have the white screen of death but it shows the screen if I lightly hold down the power button (not enough that it clicks).
I've tried restoring it again, but it stays the same- white screen of death that shows the screen when I lightly hold down the power button.

Error 3194, AKA "This device is not eligible.. occurs for several reasons:
    1.  Update to the latest iTunes - currently 10.4.1.
    2.  Disable ALL security apps (firewall, antivirus/spyware) running on your computer.  Additional measures may be needed.
    3.  You may need to edit the Hosts file on your computer to remove references to gs.apple.com if you EVER used hacking techniqus or apps such as tinyumbrella.
    4. Don't try to downgrade the iOS.
    5.  If the phone was EVER successfully hacked in the past (jailbreak, downgrade, unauthourized unlock) there may be nothing you can do now to fix this.
"This device is not eligible for the requested build: Also sometimes displayed as an error 3194. If you receive this error, update to the latest version of iTunes. 3rd party security software or router security settings can also cause this issue, to resolve please follow Troubleshooting security software issues. Downgrading to a previous version of iOS is not supported. If you have installed software to perform unauthorized modifications to your iOS device, that software may have redirected connections to the update server (gs.apple.com) within the Hosts file. • "Insufficient resources for this video mode" error in IMAQ for IEEE-1394 1.1

    I'm using 3 Sony DFW-X700 cameras (1024x768 YUV 4:2:2) and 1 Sony XCD-X700 (1024x768 8-bit mono) connected to 2 IEEE-1394 adapter cards (3 ports each). I'm running LV 6.1 on WinXP Pro PT.
I've tried several acquisition modes, and the only one that works fine is 'continuous acquisition', using 1 buffer per camera. The problem is that I can only setup 2 color cameras and 1 mono camera. If I try to setup 3 color cameras, I get an 'insufficient resources for this video mode' error. I would like to know if it's possible to configure more memory for the acquisition buffers under IEEE-1394 so that I can avoid this error.

    Habil,
You might want to try to lower the frame rate of the cameras. This error is caused because the driver is able to allocate only part of the firewire bandwidth for your image acquisition, and a three camera color acquisition requires a huge amount of bandwidth. This is currently an issue that our R&D department worked this period and is going to be resolved in the next release of the driver. This release should be ready in one month. Good luck!

    "1394 Slot 0 viMoveOut16 error"

    Hello,
If you could provide the error number and message it will help troubleshoot. What seems to be happening is that the number in length + the offset is greater than the space in memory then it gives an error. To correct this, change the length size to be smaller or allocate more memory. There is a function called ViMapAddress that is used to set the amount of memory.
If this doesn't fix the problem, please provide with the error message.

  • Interface Not Found Error when Using Snap Example for Firewire (IEEE 1394)

I just recently installed a SONY XCD-SX910 to interface with Labview 8.2.  When choosing the driver, only the Legacy driver would work for the Firewire(R) (or IEEE 1394) installation.  After installing the driver, I successfully acquired images from the MAX inteface.  However, when attempting to trace through the 1394 Legacy Snap Example from the IEEE 1394 installation document, I am receiving the error "Interface Not Found".  I have tried a few iterations attempting to name the camera such as "cam0" (the name assigned to the camera in MAX) and "cam0 : SONY XCD-SX910".  However, the error persists.
What should I name my camera for it to find the interface?  Is there another underlying problem that is not obvious?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Is the Legacy Snap example you are referring to the one that is seen here: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/2977? Can you post screenshots from both Measurement & Automation Explorer and the VI you are trying to use? Also, can you verify in Measurement & Automation explorer that you are using the 1394 driver? You can do this by right clicking your camer and the selecting driver and choosing the appropriate one. Some more information on all that you are seeing would help in order to troubleshoot this.

    Try:
    1. Click the Start Button, type devmgmt.msc in the “Start Search” box and press Enter.
    2. Expand the "IEEE 1394 Bus Host Controllers" node in the device tree on the right hand pane.
    3. Right click the host controller node select "Update driver software ..."
    4. Select "Browse my computer for driver software".
    5. Select "let me pick from a list of device driver on my computer ..." and Check the box before “Show compatible hardware”.

  • W510 w/WinXP, device manager reports issue w/1394 Net Adapter (error code=10)

I recently reimaged a brand new W510 w/WinXP w/SP3 & installed Lenovo Toolbox utility. Which immediately identified an issue w/the 1394 Net Adapter in Device Manager. Looking at the Device Status (details) it states "The Device Cannot Start (code 10)" and suggests reloading the drivers. I've tried updating them using the UPDATE DRIVER button and searching the web but it states Windows cannot find a better match then the one I have. I've copied the driver from a 2nd WinXP machine (nic1394.sys). I've installed all of the Microsoft updates (for Critical Software and Hardware). Installed the Lenovo Driver Update utility & installed all available driver updates and flashed the BIOS and nothing has resolved it.  I've run the full Lenovo toolbox diags and everything passes (including the 1394 adapters) I've also sent the PC into Lenovo for repair and they indicate everything tests fine as well..
Question, does anyone one know if this device is compatible w/WinXP ? Any other suggestions ?
    Thanks,
