Error 150 30 - files don't exist

Hi,
I just reinstalled Lion onto my old MacBook and restored the back-up from my new MacBook (which I'm sending back and swapping for an iMac). Although now when I try and open After Effects CS4 I get the following error: 150 30.
Naturally I googled this and found this: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/512/cpsid_51260.html
However, problem is...the files and folders they refer to don't exist on my system. I've gone to the 'Go' menu and held down option key to access the system library, but nowhere can I find FlexNet Publisher/
or Adobe PCD/
I have also got a trial version of CS5.5 which works fine. I did a clean install from the disks on the new MacBook and have since cleared the hard drive. It didn't ask me for anything other than the serial code.
Happy to delete and re-install, but according the link I posted, I need to delete some folders which don't exist on my system.
Any ideas appreciated.

There's nothing to delete because it's not there. Those folders only exist after proper installs, or more to the point the encryprted licensing files the program reports as missing, since they are generated and system specific. Simply go ahead with running the uninstaller/ installer. Just in case you may wanna have a look at this, also.

  • Copy response to FTP Device failing - ERROR: E_NOENT - File Does Not Exist

    I have a asset subscription that encodes and delivers to a FTP server when a checkbox is ticked in an asset's metadata.
    Whilst the clip is transcoded and delivered, the copy response reports a failure with the message: 'ERROR: E_NOENT - File Does Not Exist: <filename>.<eextension>' referring to the transcoded file
    The subscription has 3 responses, A WMV, a FLV and a JPG compression, all of which work if I export the asset manually.
    It doesn't matter which response I put first in the Subscription as they all report the error and stop the other 2 responses.
    I have had a search through the previous discussions, but couldn't find any answers.
    I am running a fresh install of OSX Server 10.5.5 with just Final Cut Server installed, and everything is up to date (Pro Apps and FCSvr, Java etc).
    The only other apps installed are:
    Fibrejet 2.7.3
    Flip4Mac WMV Studio Pro HD 2.2.1.11
    Adobe CS3 Flash Video Encoder

    I am having a similar issue. All I am trying at the moment is a nuts and bolts copy to an FTP device. I have checked and rechecked remote directories, permissions, and login info. My copy response will transcode to a web-friendly quicktime, then fails trying to copy, saying the file doesn't exist.
    I think I am missing a fundamental part of the process but reading through the manuals hasn't turned up solutions.

  • Lookout 6.6 - Logon Error: Security file does not exist

    I'm trying to run Lookout 6.6 evaluation. It loads fine, I get a message saying that it's running evaluation version. I press OK to clear that box and a logon window opens. It's filled in with the default settings, Administator, local doman, no password. I click Log On and it gives me the error which is in the subject line, security file does not exist.
    I've read on here that the lookout.sec file doesn't exist in the System32 folder. In this case, I've found it and it's there.
    I've trying different user names, I took the .sec file and copied it in various locations: windows folder, and the programs root folder - obviously there was no effect. I tried editing the lookout.ini file to remove the log on information to see if that clears it up (even deleted the file to see if that work), but to no avail. I also tried re-installing the program, but there is no uninstall button - windows program removal tool cannot even remove, modify, or repair the program. I ran the install a couple of times as well.
    Does anyone know what I can do?
    Here's what I'm running:
    (I bought this computer today)
    Windows 7 x64-bit Home Premium
    4gb ram
    500gb hard drive
    It's very minimal, since all the computer is meant to do is run this program and replace the computer Lookout 5.0 was running on (mobo got fried).
    - Please - let me know if you have any suggestions.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi Mike! Thanks for replying!
    I've just tried it in admin mode and it hasn't worked. I've also tried using compatability mode, but to no avail.
    I downloaded the lookout 6.2 version to try and it gives me the same error as well.
    Another thing to note, I tried uninstalling it (either lookout 6.6 or 6.2 doesn't matter), but all options it gives (modify, repair, and uninstall) are all greyed out.
    Any thoughts/ideas?

  • [SOLVED] Installation help - hostname and vconsole files don't exist

    I've installed Arch several times in the past with no problems.  I recently installed ArchBang on my laptop with no problems.
    I'm trying to follow the guide here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/In … e#Download
    but to me it seems quite incomplete.
    I don't have any problems w/ downloading and burning, booting from CD, creating partitions and filesystems, mounting, pacstrap,
    Then I follow the instructions on installing grub-bios, generating fstab, and I chroot.
    That's when things go badly.
    The first thing it says is to write my hostname to /etc/hostname.  That file doesn't exist.  It's easy enough to create, but how do I know what the file should look like.  I assume it should simply contain the hostname, or should it say hostname = hostname? Anyway, moving on to the next problem.
    I managed to generate the locale, but then it says to: Add console keymap and font preferences in /etc/vconsole.conf.  Well that file doesn't exist either.
    I try skipping that, and mkinitcpio completes successfully.
    Then let's talk about installing grub.  The only thing in /boot/grub in grub.cfg and grub.cfg.example, neither of which are readable.  I'm expecting something like a grub.conf or a menu.lst that are easy to configue.  This thing looks like some kind of script from hell.  Am I supposed to make my own menu.lst?
    Did I miss some huge step.  I keep looking through it but I don't see what I'm missing.

  • Error 3003 - file doesn't exist on Android (but it does!)

    Hi there,
    I'm doing something really simple - so there must be silly mistake somewhere here. I'm building my game with:
    adt -package -target apk-debug -connect  -storetype pkcs12 -keystore "cert\mygame.p12" -storepass fd "dist\mygame-debug.apk" "application.xml" -C bin . -C "icons/android" .
    With the swfs and required data files in the bin/ folder. That -C directive makes them work as root.
    Then all I'm doing is:
    var file:File = File.applicationDirectory.resolvePath("data.json");
    var fin:FileStream = new FileStream();
    fin.open(file, FileMode.READ);     // error 3003 triggered!!
    The path is resolved to "app:/data.json" which is correct, since it lives in the apk in the same place the swf is.
    So why am I getting error 3003? Any insight is greatly appreciated!
    I'm building with Air 3.7.
    Thanks!

    AIR 3.7 rings a bell - there was a path problem that was introduced between 3.6 and 3.7, but from memory it only related to SharedObjects.
    Curious: What do you get if you insert
    trace( 'File exists: '+file.exists );
    After the first line?
    My guess is that data.json does not exist at that location.  In this case a valid File object is still returned from resolvePath, but the file it references does not exist.
    I'm guessing it's in the bin directory and you are adding it via -C bin?  I'm not certain, but see if the file actually exists at app:/bin/data.json
    var file:File = File.applicationDirectory.resolvePath("bin/data.json");
    If that doesn't work, try using the -extdir command to include data.json in your package instead of -C?

  • Oracle AIA - ANT build Error - MDS files does not exist

    Hi,
    I have created a typical AIA artifacts project as below
    1. Req_ABCSImpl
    2.EBS
    3.Prov_ABCSImpl
    All 3 artifacts have XSD, WSDL which are stored in MDS via update intp MDS DB.
    I an trying to compile the artifacts with ANT Scripts provided by Oracle OOTB (ant-sca-compile.xml).
    This gives error as - the files which are referred to "oramds" location does not exist.
    So can you please let me know how-to resolve this issue?
    Note:
    The files exists in MDS DB
    thanks,
    Mark

    In Jdeveloper Each Application has a file called adf-config.xml file whcih will details to oramds link
    under Application Resources ->Descriptors ->ADF-META-INF
    adfconfig.xml file like
    <metadata-store-usage id="mstore-usage_2">
    <metadata-store class-name="oracle.mds.persistence.stores.db.DBMetadataStore">
    <property name="jdbc-userid" value="DEV_MDS"/>
    <property value="XYX" name="jdbc-password"/>
    <property name="jdbc-url"
    value="jdbc:oracle:thin:@//localhost:1521/SID"/>
    <property name="partition-name" value="soa-infra"/>
    </metadata-store>
    </metadata-store-usage>
    this file helps to determine where to find the mds?
    In wsdl you might be referring to
    oramds:apps/AIAMetadata/<Foldername>/<wsdlname.wsdl>
    Oramds is defined using this file adf-config.xml to determine whcih machine it should use.
    During developemnt the artifacts like xsd or wsdl are moved to mds in one machine or environemnt but we try to deploy on different machine. While compiling try to check whether you connected to correct mds having those files.

  • [MX 2004} Can't upload! The file may not exist, or there could be a permission problem

    I'm running MX 2004 on Windows XP. All's been well for the
    last few months, doing site maintenance at this part-time job. I
    get tangled up a bit in checking files in and out, coming from
    GoLive, and since there's no one else with FTP access, yesterday I
    told it to check the entire site in. I didn't have any changes I
    didn't want to commit, and I figured that would keep things a
    little neater.
    As of today, I can post revisions to existing pages, or
    resize image files, but when I create a new page, or try to place a
    new image file on an existing page, I can't upload it.
    So, to be clear: I have two pages already up on the site,
    index.html and apple.html, with a link between them. If I create
    new page banana.html and make a link to it from index, index.html
    will upload that revised link, but banana.html is refused with the
    message
    FTP error: The file may not exist, or there could be a
    permission problem
    I know the file doesn't exist (remotely); I just made it.
    I've gone to Prefs and disable Check In / Check Out, which didn't
    do me any good. What next?

    Can you open the FTP log, select one of these new files and
    upload it- then
    cut and paste relevant part of the ftp log?
    Also- does this site have a "host directory", a subfolder
    that your public
    files need to go into? If yes- is this folder listed in the
    host directory
    line of the remote server info?
    And odd past thing i've seen-
    Had hosting that used public_html as the public folder name.
    They also had a symbolic link named www that pointed to
    public_html
    Could upload/download existing files with www in "host
    directory" line of
    dw; but could not upload new files or work with files in
    subfolders.
    changing to public_html instead of the www symlink fixed this
    for me.

  • Import photos that don't exist...

    When I import pictures into iPhoto from an external hard drive, there are mystery pictures that are showing up. These are pictures that used to exist on the HD but that I deleted from there.
    I deleted my entire iPhoto library and emptied the trash within iPhoto. I then went to the "show package contents" of my iPhoto library on my computer's HD and deleted everything.
    I tried to re-import the pictures from the external HD to iPhoto, but AGAIN, the mystery pictures are there. I've checked the folder in the HD that they are showing up in. But, they are not there. I've even done a search on my computer, and the files don't exist.
    Please help me figure out why this is happening. I just don't know how to get rid of these pictures. I want them gone...completely!!!
    Thank you!!!

    I then went to the "show package contents" of my iPhoto library on my computer's HD and deleted everything.
    Never make changes to the structure or content of the iPhoto library using the finder
    make sure you have the photos you want safe and drag the baad iPhoto library to the trash and empty it and then depress the option key and launch iPhoto and create anew library - now start using this correctly set up library

  • What does "You don't exist. Go away!" mean?

    I was using XCode 4.2 and was committing something to my local git.  After putting in the commit message and hitting the "commit" button I got an error reading "You don't exist. Go away!"  Additionally, terminal was non-functional after I got it.  I rebooted my system and everything seems to be running okay.  But I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me what caused it.  Is this a serious issue?

    Error messages are not idiopathic.  They arise from something (which I know you know, since you have 14,000+ points).  Assigning the message to a "transient issue" is not a helpful solution.
    Somewhere, at some point, an engineer decided that when an event within a certain set of events occurs, the system tells users to go away.  That's in regular operation.
    Alternatively, something could be wrong with my system, resulting in the error message from getting invoked incorrectly.  From the searches I did prior to my initial post, the most commonly given reasons for this message, that I could not eliminate, were potential damage to my harddrive and issues with account identities.  Since I'm the admin (it's my home unit for work/school), both of these are very disconcerting.
    Even though there may be no way to know what the ultimate cause was, documentation on what is suppose to cause this is helpful.

    Can somebody help me please??

    Hi Alvaro,
            If your XI server is running on Unix platform then you'll get the access only after mounting 10.128.68.38 this system as a drive. This is equivalent to the windows network mapping.
    Next thing is that once that is done then you can access the path /arbo2000/UploadPinfos/arbodev by mentioning it in your directory path.
    To check whether the above mentioned is the problem then pls do try by doing it with FTP protocol. If it works then for acting as a local directory for NFS you need to mount the drive.
    Cheers
    JK
