Error 150:30 - License Recovery does not work

Hi all,
I downloaded the License Recovery for Mac to rectify the issue but it does not allow me to "Doubleclick the LicenseRecoveryLauncher.app and enter your Mac OS X password when prompted." it simply downloads the file to my desktop and I'm not sure where to go from there…

Any suggestions on what I can do next to fix this?

Did you receive a private message from Sandeep Singh? Sandeep is the original author of PSE and he has been developing this product since 1972 AFAIK. Now before people ask me how did I know this when I wasn't even born, The answer is in the splash screen of PSE13.

EHP4 installation using EHPI : Error message: DDIC password does not work:

We are upgrating enhancement packages 4 using EHPI in 64 bit server. I am facing this error in Extraction phase , I have to provide DDIC / SAPServiceSID/ DB specific , next says ddic password is not correct. But when i tried to login with the same password into 000 client, it works. But when through EHPI , it throws error. Kidnly check the error and please suggest me ... Thanks in advance..

DDIC pwd for 001 is not same as 001,Will that be a problem ? But the Extraction requests for DDIC 000 client password. Are you sure UME comes into this scenario ?
@ Raghu - I have checked the link and it speaks about the resetting the EHPI. I dont want to reset and want to solve ddic password error.

Yes the hostname is SAPRBSBD-01.I am able telnet the IP 3300 and it works fine. FQDN SAPRBSBD-01.chen.local. The smicm service entries are with SAPRBSBD-01 but not with FQDN. Changing it to FQDN will help us to resolve the issue. Please suggest me.
Also the error refers to some RFC connection, any idea on that.

URL for Downloading Licensed FlashPlayer Does Not Work

I reapplied for a license to distribute FlashPlayer back in October and was granted a license and a specific URL to download FlashPlayer for distribution on our intranet. The URL does not work and instead of downloading FlashPlayer the only option is to apply for another license. I attempted to engage Adobe via Chat and they said I have to post here, but this does not make a lot of sense since the email with the license said the URL for downloading may not be shared with anyone, hence why I am not posting here.
So have others received a license from Adobe with a non-working URL? How did you get someone at Adobe to respond?

Non-apple keyboard and aperture recovery does not work

Hello all, I use a mac mini with a non-apple keyboard and I am trying to recover my Aperture database, however, although the alt and command key work in all applications, the combination does not start up Aperture in recovery mode. Anyone any ideas? Thanks.

Hi,
Your migration to Lion brought over a previous hot key preferences document. And this contains one bad key that wasn't updated.
- Quit System Preferences (if open)
- Delete this document to remove a carry-over mapping error.
- Then logout
Note: That this will delete any existing modified keyboard assignments. Re-assign changes manually.
Note2: This document is in your users preferences folder.
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.symbolichotkeys.plist

Recovery does not work in Satellite U405-S2854

I got a virus and used the recovery disks. The second disk showed a message "cannot read from the source file or disk PREINST5.SWN
I tried again and the same message appears. So I press the SKIP option. After lot of time, a message error again:
Error 10FC06-0002
Recovery error.
Well, if even the recover from toshiba can work, we are lost!!
Could somebody help me?

Well, the last bad news: after this, the machine tried to restart and a message in a black screen : BOOTMGR is missing.
Nobody deserves it!! :-(

I dont know what is wrong there but in Recovery category you can find several threads where the people report about same issue. it is interesting that this is reported by US notebooks only.
I am from Europe and I dont know how recovery procedure works there but you can ask this on US forum under http://community.compuserve.com/n/pfx/forum.aspx?webtag=ws-laptop&redirCnt=1
I hope you will find answer there. If you find it please let us know what the problem can be.
In my opinion it can be either defective recovery image or some HDD malfunction.
Sorry buddy but such error message is not known to me and I cannot offer any precise answer.

Qosmio Recovery does not work

Qosmio x770 ST4N04 -- booted this morning and started a constant white noise from the speakers and Windows 7 loaded but froze.
Tried to recover from USB -- tried to recover holding down the 0. Recovery software doesn't work -- hangs on multiple loads -- was told by tech support to just reboot if it hangs -- finally get through all of it to have Windows 7 now boot to 2 accounts - admin and other user. The admin account says it has been disabled, notify your admin. And the other user asks for a password -- which we don't have since we didn't create it. Have done this process now 3 or 4 times today -- once I did get it to boot and ask for me to setup an account -- but once windows 7 loaded, it hung trying to update the video card configuration -- seems to be really messed up -- the recovery software does NOT appear to be working at all -
Any help would be appreciated.

If you can't get through a recovery or if you've done a full recovery (which you have) and the problem persists, then you know there's a hardware problem. When that's the case, you should contact technical support at (800) 457-7777 to discuss a repair.

System Recovery does not work. Error Code: 0xe0ef003

I have a Touchsmart 310 1125y - Upon bootup was getting a BOOTMGR is missing. I tried the system recover on the hard drive and that failed with the error code: 0xe0ef003. I went ahead and purchased the cd revovery discs from HP Site ( 4 plus the supplimental reovery disc) and ran all of them and got down to disc 4 and then that same error came up. When I tried to reboot, it comes up to a blank screen with the flashing cursor in the top left corner. I hit ctrl/alt/del and the HP Blue screen comes up, when I hit the F11 now it just goes to a blank screen again with the cursor in the top left corner. Any other suggestions on how I can fix this?

Once unit is powered on keep tapping F10 Key go to Diagnostics run the Hard drive test if failed you need to replace the Hard drive if test passes kindly let me know.

While Burning Library - Error and CD drive does not work

While making a backup copy of my library, an error occurred on the second disc. I retried it but nothing happened. I could not continue with the backup or start again.
And since then, my CD drive will not read CDs. It is still connected as I checked the wires and did troubleshooting, the green light turns on and the sound happens like it is reading but it cannot auto-run nor does it acknowledge anything on a CD.
Some code or something must have gotten stuck. I cannot use phone support for some reason nor can I find a place to send an e-mail to. Any help would be appreciated.

If your optical drive worked before the repair, then in all likelihood it was not plugged back in when the Mac was reassembled, or if it was, the cable was not properly seated. You should go back to whoever did the repair and have them fix it. It shouldn't take long.
Do you see the drive at all in the System Profiler? If not, it's probably not connected. If you do see it, then it's possible it was damaged during the repair, and whoever did the repair will be responsible for repairing or replacing it.

Lion Internet Recovery does not work

Lion Internet recovery appears to be broken...
On my 27" i5 QC 2010 iMac when to receover via Internet I am unable to do so I tried it using wired networking first and then wireless, same lack of results on both.
I succesfully identify myself with my Apple ID at which point I'm told that changes have been made to license terms and I need to agree to them... no problem, I click on OK to view and agree... nothing happens. No new pop-up allowing me to click on 'agree', eventually the install disk selection un-greys itself and when I click on 'install' I have to got through the same circle of identifying myself and being asked to agree to never appearing new license terms...
Brialliant, yet another Apple failure. My time is money and I did not want to go through the process of re-installing SL, bringing it up to date and then going through AppStore Lion installation... I sure hope I do not get charged another half dozen times for a product I already purchased (like it happened when I initially installed Lion).
Anybody else encounter the same recovery problem? Solutions?

The solution is to go to AppStore on another computer and login with your AppleID. You must then agree to their new terms & conditions. The only way I knew how to do that was to try and install one of the free apps whereupon I was asked for the agreement.
My iMac is now happily downloading the install...

Osx recovery does not work

Hi, my problem is I messed up some boot records on my MBP Retina, Mavericks and now I cannot boot.
I see a folder with question mark. As I try to log into recovry partition ( Cmd + R, R) I go immediately into internet recovery mode.
I tried to do disk repair with First Aid, then disck repair steps, I get - The disk is ok message, but when I try to reboot, I get the same flashing folder thing. Then Safe boot is not available - pressing Shift key I get again flashin folder.
Boot manager not available - pressin Option I get FF again:(
Then I wanted to do a reinstall from internet recovery. There I am offered to reinstall a version of Mountain Lion, but because there is Maveriks already on the hard drive I get a message like -You cannot upgrade this disk because there is newer software installed!!!
This is just ********, now I will have to eraise and loose tons of my work:(
Is there anything I can do? And yes, I have no CD in this model.

Yep. It appears so.
The recovery tools work great as long as one doesn't "bork" the Recovery HD partition. Also, using the OS X Recovery Disk Assistant creates the Recovery HD of your OS onto a USB thumb drive so you can use that in an emergency.
But, before you give up.... do you have any friends or family who are running OS X Mavericks? If so, have them download the OS X Recovery Disk Assistant and create a USB thumb drive with the Mavericks Recovery HD on it. Then, you can boot off that and reinstall OS X Mavericks to your Mac. All this will do is reinstall the OS without touching your apps or data.

Hi,
Following information might be helpful for resolving the issues.
Please login into CMC and make sure all Performance Management servers are Enabled and Started.
- Then, verify the Initialization User
1. On your performance management server, open the InitConfig.properties file and verify that the Initialization user name and password match those in the CMS.
This file is at:
<INSTALLDIR>/bobje/performance_management_120
The strings to search for are:
initialization.User=
initialization.Password=
2. Log into InfoView, and then click the Preferences button on the InfoView toolbar.
3. Click the Performance Management tab, and then check the name of the initialization logon user in the Change initialization logon user section is the same as the user name specified in the InitConfig.properties file.
4. Log into the Log into the CMC, and then click Users.
5. Check that the user defined in the InitConfig.properties is listed among the users.
6. From the CMC home page, click Settings > Rights and check that the initialization user has the appropriate rights.
You need to restart the performance management servers.
7. From the CMC home page, click Servers > Start Servers to restart all
servers.
If you are using performance management from a client machine - different from the machine hosting the performance manager server - you need to restart your computer.
I hope this should resolve the issue.

HP Envy m6-1125dx UEFI Notebook Computer with GPT hard drive.
Original Seagate Hard Disk GPT 700GB with Window 8.0_64 upgraded to Windows 8.1_64
Startup Menu (F11 System Menu works properly) only on original hard drive.
Following obtained from Disk Management & diskpart in Command Prompt.

I have Cloned the original hard drive to a new HGST 1TB Hard Drive using four different methods (sector by sector):
Acronis True Image 2015
Acronis Backup for PC
AOMEI Backupper Professional
Macrium Reflect
Each time the cloning process completes successfully and has the same original partition arrangement. The computer works properly except when trying to use the “F11 System Menu” key during boot. It gives the following error message:
“Recovery
Your PC needs to be repaired
A required device isn’t connected or can’t be accessed.
Error code: 0xc0000225
You need to use the recovery tools on your installation media. If you don’t have any installation media (like a disc or USB device), contact your system administrator or PC manufacturer. “
Any suggestions why the F11 System Recovery does not work during boot and how to fix the problem would be appreciated. I have does various disk checking and file checking on both the original and new hard drive with no errors.

It might be the battery, it sure sounds as though it could be. What happens if you leave it to charge, does the charging symbol show, does the battery icon show full, part full or empty at any time?
If you check here; https://locate.apple.com/uk/en/ and enter your postcode in the Service box, you should see the options available to you from Apple and its Authorised Service Providers. They can advise you about the battery and you should be given the cost before you commit to spending your dosh!
