Error 150:30 / MAC users

hello all 150:30 errorers,
i have just been through a hell with my mac, pse8 & 150:30 error code.
before you go out of your mind, complaining and screaming, throwing your macs out of the window, downloading cleaners, uninstalling, contacting support (as i did) ....the reasons for this code and simple solution can be right here:
i purchased PSE8 in netherlands where i also installed it. worked perfectly.
then i went on a holiday to a different european country - i thought i take my new mac with me . i noticed some settings on my mac changed. including chrome - not sure why.
PSE8 still worked fine until u returned back to netherlands and got 150:30 - licensing error.
i called hopeless dutch support - no help.
i had to ring united states support to get somewhere. i was on the phone from europe to US for more than an hour. i spoke to technician - who was very helpfull. after some fixing we got another error code 217:something and we ended up with an error code: 6
the technician was right, the bottom line was this is not a PSE8 problem but MAC's.
ERROR 150:30 is caused by changing language / region setting on your MAC - by your MAC. (mac does it automatically)
so, the solution is simple - go to your (MAC) system preferences, language&text, delete any additional languages in the language tabs and change everything you can to the settings when PSE8 was installed.

Try This:
Delete the FlexNet Publisher preferences folder from : [hard drive]/Library/Preferences/FlexNet Publisher/
If hidden try this Step:
In the Finder, choose Go > Go To Folder.
In the Go To Folder dialog, type ~/Library
Click Go.

Licensing stopped Error 150:30 Mac

Transferred files from old Mac to new Mac. Everything transferred. I checked PSE, and it looked as if it was fine.
A week later I tried to open PSE and got the error message saying the licensing stopped.
Again - this is my new Mac. I am not trying to share PSE with anyone else, but I do want to continue to use the software program I own.
I do have my original disc, but the new Mac (Mountain Lion) does not have a disc drive. At any rate it should have transferred.
Any suggestions?

Nooooo, sorry. You can never, never migrate an installed copy of PSE. (Lots of people think they're successful at first, but it always fails, sooner or later) PSE is not a tidy package like most mac apps. The installer strews stuff all over your hard drive in places the migration assistant is not trained to look. You will need to run this, then remove what you copied over, then find some way to copy the install disc to your mac and start from scratch.

If you have PSE 11, you can download the trial and enter your serial number there. For older versions, if you are near an apple store, they will usually let you copy the installer to a CD or usb drive if you bring one with you.

Anyone have a solution to illustrator telling me an unexpected error has occurred when saving? Ive tried saving, save as, saving as .pdf. Keeps telling me the same message. Just installed it. First project since it was installed.

Where exactly are you trying to save?
Is a printer connected and turned on?

Hello I keep getting this message "Unable to connect to remote PC. Please provide the fully-qualified
name or the IP address of the remove PC, and then try again".
I am not trying to log onto another computer, I am trying to log into my QB Enterprise software hosted by right networks.
Any ideas?

Photoshop CS4 Extended - error 150:30 - "LicenseRecoveryLauncher" not supported on Mac OSX Yosemite 10.10

I recently upgraded to Mac OSX Yosemite 10.10
When I try to open Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended it says error 150:30 Licensing for this product has stopped working.
I followed the help advice which says to download some software to mend the problem but it wont launch - error message You can’t open the application “LicenseRecoveryLauncher” because PowerPC applications are no longer supported.
How can I fix the problem?

OS 10.7 and above uses the python script (.py) which is included in the License Recovery kit.
Mac OS X 10.7
a. Double-click the LicenseRecovery111.dmg
Note: Leave this window open and proceed to the next step.
b. Double-click your Hard Drive.
c. Double-click Applications.
d. Double-click Utilities.
e. Double-click Terminal.
f. Type “sudo python “
Note: There is a space following “python”. Do not press Return.
g. Drag LicenseRecover.py from the LicenseRecovery folder onto the Terminal Window and press Return. Note: Make sure that the Terminal window has the command and the path to the APP file. For example: "sudo python /Volumes/LicenseRecovery\ 11.6.1/LicenseRecovery/LicenseRecover.py”
h. Enter your administrator user name and password when prompted and click OK.
i. Follow the onscreen instructions.

How do I overcome error 150:30 with a replacement system hard drive on a Mac Pro?

I have replaced my system hard disk drive on a Mac Pro and used Mac 'Restore' to restore the complete system from a Time Machine backup. Everything else works correctly, except my current Adobe products (InDesign CS4 and Photoshop CS4) both give a licensing error code 150:30 and each suggest contacting Adobe technical support.
Can you help?

"Migrating" and/or "transferring" an application is not just asking for trouble but demanding it!
Always install an Adobe application from scratch, from the original media: CD or download.

error 150:30 at launch of illustrator cs 4 on a mac running 10.7. I used cs4 on a desktop - works fine and on a laptop which is where I get the error.

CS4 & 10.7 are over a decade apart, can you install an older version of the OS if you are try to run that.

Can't start my Adobe Applications - returning Error 150:30 after updated Mac OS to 10.9

I have just updated my mac to OS X 10.9 and my Adobe CS4 applications won't open, returning error 150:30. I understand this is licensing related. I have been browsing various forums to get a fix for this, and I haven't found anything that works to date. Can somebody offer any advice on this, and is it something that has been seen before. I should mention that I updated straight from 10.5 to 10.9.
Should I go about reinstalling CS4 from the disks? Is there a simpler fix? I would appreciate any help or specific knowledge that anyone can tender in this topic.
