If you continue to face difficulties please try removing the software using the uninstallers in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers. Once the software is removed you will want to follow this by using the Cleaner Tool.

Need to download - design premium CS4 - I'm getting error: 150:30 when I try to open PS

I had CS help me a few months ago to re-set or load my CS4 Design Premium, when I changed 2008 imac to Mavericks. Now I can't remember how we did that. Now the issue is that I need to do the same on my new Macbook pro (also Mavericks)- Somehow the Suite seems to have loaded all programs, and clicking on one says to restart and then says " but if that doesn't work, then reach support." so here I am. Can someone help asap? Second question today. thanks

There could be issues while loading CS 4 on Mavericks due to incompatibility of OS and software. Please check out the system requirements for CS4 from the link mentioned below.

The 150:30 error is probably indicative of a licensing problem.
How long has the problem existed?

PS Elements was working/Installed Apple OS 10.8 now/Error: 150:30

My PS Elements 8 was working fine. Upgraded to Apple OS 10.8 Mountain Lion now get Error: 150: 30 on my iMac. PSE 8 continues to work fine on our Mac Book which I also installed OS 10.8

I understood that about the semi hidden Library folder. I was in the right folder, I re-did it following your instructions to be sure. and for whatever reason there is no Flex Net Publisher in the preference folder but I did find that there was a FlexNet Publisher folder in the ApplicationSupport. I followed the instructions for the license recovery carefully going to the utilities and opening the terminal utility and did as instructed. I am using OS 10.8 Mountain Lion not Lion OS 10.7. The LicenseRecoverLauncher icon had a circle with a slash through it which indicates it doesn't work with this OS but I did it anyway, dragged over into the terminal thing after typing whatever it was, sudo python, I think, and it did not work. I did it a couple of times because it didn't even want to take my password at first. Each time I had to hit return and retype the password. It never asked for the adminstrator name. It ended up with this:

And I did the repair permissions restarted the computer a couple of time. I think this problem must have been related to the upgrade to Mountain Lion. It worked before.

While transferring Adobe from laptop to PC the licensing files got corrupt and the right way to use Adobe Applications is to install first as transferring from a different machine can give you problems.
You can try steps from this article if that helps otherwise you have to reinstall and manually delete some files , everything is mentioned.

A quick Google yielded this link that was marked as a correct answer by someone else with PSE8 getting that error, although the messages are a couple years old so maybe you can’t get it to work on newer OSes:

How can I activate my CS4 Acrobat after a 150:30 error

Can anyone tell me how to activate my Acrobat Pro when it wont accept my legal serial number..... and please dont tell me to call support I have tried this repeatedly (see below).
I have deleted fleximasters and run adobe serial repair tools etc with no joy.
BACKGROUND:
On Saturday I was doing an update on my MacBook Pro and it crashed. Then when I next went into Photoshop , Acrobat and InDesign it said they had all stopped working as my licance was no longer valid. The error code was 150:30.
I rang technical support here in New Zealand and they were closed for the weekend. I have urgent work to do, so have been trying everything on the web I could find. Today (Monday at 11am) I rang Adobe NZ Technical Support and got automatically transferred to a call centre in the US. Here a chap told me to call back tomorrow as it is still the weekend in the States. Apart from being highly pi??ed off (the missing letters are "ss" for those wondering) that a company that claims to be global only keeps US hours, I am still stuck without my software. Why are sales open on weekends but not support?
Also he could only give me a Toll Free US number to call tomorrow. Again what about the rest of the world Adobe. It may be free to Americans, but God knows what the cost per minute is to call toll free numbers from overseas.
Fortunately through forums and google I have photoshop back up, but Acrobat pro will still not accept my legitimate serial number. So today has involved travelling across town and using other peoples machines to output tasks when they are not busy. Not a great solution and I wish I could bill Adobe for my wasted time when they could use a small percentage of the Billions they make to provide proper support.
ANY SUGGESTIONS ARE NOT ONLY WELCOME BUT DESPERATELY SOUGHT AS I HAVE THREE URGENT TASKS TO OUTPUT.
My apologies for the rant but I feel much better having vented. Dealing with Adobe today almost makes me wish Quark hadnt been such a rubbish program!

An Update for anyone interested:
Tuesday 9.30am I rang back and after 20 minutes on hold got to speak to tech Support (yeah!!!!) Only into the 4th day of my problem but it was a real person. She asked a series of questions, frequently asked for my seperate serial number for Acrobat and I frequently answered I dont have one as it was part of my design premium package.
In the end she said I would have to call someone else who had more skills.
She gave me an 0800 number to call..... in fact the number I had just called to get her.
She then said to press the option for creative suites.... in fact the option I chose to get her.
She then said to press for support.... again in fact the option I chose to get her.
I explained this and asked couldnt she just transfer me to the person sitting next to her who might be able to help. The answer was no.
She then suggested I dont try these numbers and that I try a different option when calling back, but she couldnt suggest what. (basically she wanted off the phone and didnt care who I called). I again asked could she transfer me somewhere to save calling back and being on hold for 20 minutes again. Apparently though her system was playing up so the answer was no and I would have to call back. Having managed a 24/7 support service for many years I knew she was lying, but there is sweet FA I could do about.
So tried again a few times. Eventually at around 12.30pm I got through again.At first I admit to being nervous as I did have a little trouble understanding the indian gentleman I was talking with. I apologise if this sounds racist, I am not saying that at all. Just his method of speaking english required a high degree of concentration on my part.
On the bright side this chap knew what he was doing. He advised I needed to uninstall and delete everything Adobe and also explained some additional files I needed to delete that uninstall did not remove. So thanks to him for this. Only bad part of this was part way through the uninstall I asked how Dreamweaver would remember all the settings for the multitude of websites I manage as a web company. He said no hassles we will get that from your backup. When I pointed out that I dont back up applications only work files there was a longish silence and we agreed to deal with this as a seperate issue later. Would have been nice to know this before I started the delete process.
However late last night I finished all the process suggested. I had to reinstall twice before it finally worked. So thanks to the chap who finally sorted me out but I am still miffed about Adobe support overall.
Not a great experience and one I hope to avoid repeating for a long time to come. Given all this started as I was updating my software using legitmate updaters it does seem to me that 7 day support should be available even if it isnt 24 hours a day.

Photoshop CS4 extended Error 150:30

I have reinstalled Photoshop CS4 extended on my new hard disk as it was replaced by apple, and it now won't open, showing Error 150:30. What do i do?

Error # 150:30 keeps coming up when I attempt to open new downloaded version of Photoshop.

I have a new Macbook Pro and was getting an error message which indicated that my old license for Adobe Photoshop had expired.
I have downloaded a new version of Photoshop ( all messages indicate the installation was successful).
When I try to open the new installation/program/app I still get the same old message : Error 150:30---Licensing for this product has stopped working. Contact Customer Support."
I can't find anything in the other Forums addressing this issue.

I DO appreciate the lengthy answer to my posted issue BUT...I am not a
programmer nor even a sophisticated problem solver. The solutions provided
would perhaps work IF I knew how to navigate through the instructions.
I tried Solution #1 and got nothing close to what the instructions
indicated I should see on the laptop.
I moved to Solution #2 and was busted on Step One---Photoshop 8 ( an old
alias at that) popped up on the monitor and would not uninstall.
I can't get rid of PS 8 and I can't find PS 13 ( even though it says
downloading was successful.

My InDesign CS4 does not start after I bought a new iMac (August 2011) with Lion (with the latest updates of Apple):

Error: 150:30'
Restarting the computer, as suggested in the message, doesn't work.
Can anyone tell me what to do to solve this problem?

Thanks for the reply. I did try all other suggestions. According to many posts, these steps worked for many people, just not me. Perhap the following will be useful for someone in my predicament:
- I didn't have FLEXnet Publisher in Prefs (it didn't migrate with everything else to my new iMac).
- Someone actually said they had success when they added FLEXnet Publisher back to their prefs, but that didn't work for me, either.
- I changed permissions on the files they suggested, didn't work.
- I repaired permissions with Disk Utility, didn't work.
- And finally, could not open License Recovery (error said PPC no longer supported, as I mentioned).
BUT: this did finally work (which I found here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/3857489):

I did all the steps on the screen until it was complete, then I was able to open PS, which prompted me for my serial number. Worked. There might hve been an easier way that I missed, but I'm just glad it's fixed. Do you really think CS 4 is that old? It's only one version ago, no?

Elements 8 Error 150:30 FlexNet is Set to Manual

I have the all-too-common Error 150:30 when trying to open Edit in Photoshop Elements 8. I followed instructions posted elsewhere to be sure the FlexNet service was set to manual, but even after a re-boot, the error persists. Any other ideas?

Actually, by default, the service should be in running state when application launches and the mode should be set as "Automatic".
The Tech doc which you have referred just says that even when the service is indeed running in Automatic mode and still the application is giving this error, then you set the service in Manual mode and start it manully before launching application.
But, a better approach will be to make sure that you log in with admin user, check the services.msc to see whether the service is installed on the machine or not and launch the application and see whether the service is changing to running mode or whether it is still in stopped state.

Error 150:30 CS4 Web premium - Yosemite upgrade

I'm trying to recover from a Yosemite upgrade failure on my MacBook Pro. I used the Migration Assistant app to restore my Applications folder. When I launch any product from the suite, I get Error 150:30. I can't use the installer disk for CS4 Web Premium. I've attempted downloading it from the support site several times and it always fails. When I attempt to relaunch download in Safari, I get a message that I don't have permission to download the CS4 Web Premium installer.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not running Yosemite. I'm still running Mavericks 10.9.5. CS4 worked fine in it. I'll try the cleaner and attempt another download.

UPDATE: CS4 Installer doesn't work on Mavericks, although the apps were running before the failed Yosemite update. I've downloaded the installer but it doesn't launch. It behaves like a folder, showing the installer contents. Here is a screen shot.
UPDATE 2: The support reply was NOT helpful and didn't solve my problem. I'm not running Yosemite, if this post was read correctly.
I've downloaded CS4 Web Premium several times and it still doesn't work on 10.9.5.
