Error 16 on adobe cs6
I recently had my hard drive wiped out and tried reinstalling my adobe cs6 master collection and I keep getting an error 16 message or it will open then crash right away. How do I fix this?

Error Install Adobe CS6 Master Collection on Windows 8
So I had two errors while installing Adobe CS6 MC on Windows 8. The first was a slew of OS Requirement Not Met Errors and was able to resolve this by running the setup in Compatibility Mode as Windows 7. However, the second error is persisting and I can not resolve this. I have approx 48 "ERROR: DW062: Unable to locate folder for token SharedDocuments". I am sure this is related to the fact that, using the move feature in Windows 8, I moved the Public folder to my D drive (to save room on the SSD). All other programs install properly. How can I resolve this?

Are you using any disk cleaner or optimization tools like CleanMymac or Mackeeper?

Adobe CS6.0 out of memory error on iMac (early 2009)
Hi:
Adobe CS6.0 Photoshop is returning "Out of Memory (RAM)" errors and is unusable on a lab of iMacs.
The system exceeds Adobe minimum specs (1GB ram).
Our school has a lab of computers with both Adobe CS5.5 and Adobe CS6.0 Master Collection installed on a lab of iMacs (early 2009).
The computers all have 4GB of memory and come with an NVidia GeForce 9400M 256MB video card.
I notice that this video card shares ram with the main system.
CS5.5 runs perfectly well but CS6.0 is not co-operating.
We have updated Photoshop to version 13.04 and have run Apple's Software Update (latest version).
I have looked online and this is a known problem with computers that have Adobe CS5 & 6 installed with Mac OS10.7.x but only on certain video cards.
There are people out there with 32 GB ram having the same problem.
I'm guessing the answer may be to update the video card drivers somehow.

Forget that part. The apps won't work. Adobe apps must be installed properly. That may well explain your issues with CS6, too. Generalyl, though, there is no need to uninstall older versions...

We have licensed version of Adobe CS6, but when we start it shows error Maximum Activations Exceeded, We are unable to activate Creative Cloud.@
CS6 perpetual Mac is version 13.0.6 Windows is version 13.0.1.3 Subscription cloud version is 13.1.2. If you have a cloud subscription and a perpetual licence you would not be able to have both version install at the same time on same machine. What does your Creative Cloud desktop application show and if you start CS6 if the flash screen shows or you can get to menu Help>About Photoshop what version i shown 13.0.6 or 13.0.1.3 or 13.1.2?

Error downloading Adobe Masters Collection CS6
I have been trying to download a trial version of Adobe Masters Collection CS6. However, when I click download I get the following error: "Sorry, an error has occurred. This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-configured. Please contact the application author for assistance". I don't understand the problem because I currently had Adobe Masters Collection CS5 and it installed just fine, without this problem. And yes, I do have the key code for the product, I just never get far enough in the process to enter it because of this error. Is there a way to fix this? i am trying to download CS6 design standard. but it wont work. the second part of the download comes up with the following message "The message says" the file archive part of Adobe CS6 Design Standard is missing. you need all parts in the same folder in order to extract adobe CS6 Design Standard. Please download all parts."
Does anyone know what to do?Do as it says: Put your downloaded 7z file and the *.exe in a proper folder, not just dump it onto your desktop or whatever.

I have a big issue with Adobe CS6 (and former versions like Photoshop Elements 10): When installing it from DVD running GUI everything is working fine afterwards. If I install e.g. Photoshop Elements 10 using "Silent Installation" help is not working afterwards. It states that it cannot locate the URL. I have not installed AIR and also do not plan to install it.
I have 'played' a little around with Common Files\Adobe\helpcfg and help directory. Now at least I do not get an error message but still it's not the online help which opens in the browser but the web page that is defined as 'home'.
The same I see now in Adobe CS6. I have e.g. packaged After Effects and Illustrator and when deploying it I'm not able to open help as well and I fear that this is the same issue.
Has anyone deeper knowledge about how "helpcfg" is working? Any example files? Any other help appreciated as well.

János@hannilator Have you checked the exceptions folder contents for instructions on how to push to logged off computers? Here's what I get when I package CS6 (DesignWebPrem) and excude AIR/CHC:
After you have deployed the package, separately install the products in the exception folder.
IMPORTANT: Before you install the products in the exception folder, refer to the following Adobe Knowledgebase article for information on installing these products and configuring the settings correctly:

I tried to apply the latest updates to CS6 but the update to Illustrator failed with the error:

Recently when opening up Photoshop, my Adobe CS6 Master Collection pops up saying there's some kind of offer going on the Creative Cloud. For awhile I was just able to close out of it and go about my business on Photoshop, but now it's not allowing me to open Photoshop unless I sign up/pay. I'm quite confused? I really NEED to have access to Photoshop ASAP.

Error Extracting Downloaded "CS6 Design Standard"
Hello Adobe Peoples!
I'm having trouble installing Adobe CS6 Design Standard. I'm downloading it from this page (Download CS6 products) I downloaded the 2nd item, and I downloaded both parts. I tried running the exe (smaller file) which is supposed to be an installer of some kind. After running it I get this message:
I also tried extracting the DesignStandard_CS6_LS16.7z using 7zip as it is a 7zip file, and it came up with 975 errors and when I ran the extracted installer it failed.
I'm running windows 7 64x bit.

- NateAdding to what Kglad has suggested, please make sure the Antivirus on the machine is turned off and there is no active Online Back up's as well. If in case you are trying to install the product on a network drive/external drive, please refrain from doing so and try the installation on the local hard drive only.
