Error 1604 keeps coming up when I try to sync my music
My ipod literally *****, I downloaded more music and I upgraded my itunes to 8.2. After selecting the songs I wanted to sync on to my ipod touch an error 1604 occurs and my ipod displays the itunes symbol on it with the ubs cord.It seems like it is dead. I tried reseting/restoring my ipod and restarting my computer and nothing is working. The only cumper I have is a windows vista and I seem really hopeless. Anyone who can help me or who has great advise that I can follow would be great. Thanx.

There is a difference in updating your email used by your Apple ID account and changing your Apple ID to a different email address. iTunes/Mac App Store content can only be updated by the Apple ID that bought it, even free content.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

Everything is updated and it successfully downloaded to my library but I've done what I've read about error (-69) and I am still having problems. I've never had a problem with purchases from itunes before and I don't know what to do. The Apple website doesn't help and if anyone has had the same problem and figured it out please help me. Make sure the date and time is set correctly.
Open System Preferences > Date & Time then select the Date & Time tab.
Select: Set date and time automatically
Then select t he Time Zone tab.

After downloading songs to my Playlists, when I try to

I changed my laptops OS and now when I try to sync my music from phone to the new itunes it is saying Remove and replace. What do I do to keep the music and playlists from myphone?

When I try to sync my music on my iPhone 4 I have a tab at the top that says 'on this iPhone'. This is at the end of all the other tabs like info, ringtones, music etc. The music in that tab is always on my phone but does not show in my itunes library. How can I get it into my library? It doesn't sync either.
The new iTunes has a somewhat different look from the previous version. You can get the old look back if you prefer it by doing View > Show Sidebar in iTunes. Or you can adapt to the new look.

I just bought a brand new iPhone 5s and a huge problem is that when i try to sync my music to my iPhone 5s, under the music tab it says that i can only access my music via iCloud. is there anyway to sync your music from your computer?????
The ! sign before the song means that the actual song is no longer on your computer and/or iTunes library.

You telling us that "NOTHING happens" is the equivalent of us telling you to "do SOMETHING." I.e., not very informative or helpful...
Is the iPod recognized by iTunes? Did you try using a different USB cable to connect it to your computer? Do you have the latest version of iTunes installed? Etc, etc. -

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

NSURLErrorDomain error -1012 keeps coming up when I go to the app store to check for any updates.
When I go to the App store to check for any updates it will not proceed and gives me the following error message NSURLErrorDomain error 1012.

BernardI am receiving the same error when I try to refresh the updates page but was able to download the Digital Camera Raw update without issue (this update was displayed on the page).
Have not tried the 10.9.3 update...

To give some more detail into the issue, my Dad just got a new modem, and since he's installed it, I keep getting redirected to an OpenDNS search page when I try to get to Tumblr and other websites. I've tried clearing my browsing data, and re-installing Safari, Google Chrome, and Firefox. Nothing worked. First of all, why is this happening? Second, I've read a few support pages that say I need to register for an account with OpenDNS to stop this. Is there a way to stop this happening without registering for an account? Do I have a virus, or is something going wrong with the router?
