Error -200. What does it mean? Thanks for your help!

Hi ,
My HD has been change and I transfered my old computer into my new HD.
When I tried to copy Itunes into the new HD, I couldn't do it. A message said the Itunes helper were functionning at the moment, or something like that.
So I left the version on the new HD and when I finished copying everything, I did a software update. I took the last version of itunes and when I opened it.
The -200 error message appears.. Since then, I deleted itunes , downloaded older version of itunes, and again , the last one, and always the same message..
Can somebody help me, with this please?

These errors typically occur when security software interferes with the restore and update process. FollowTroubleshooting security software issues to resolve this issue. In rare cases, these errors may be a hardware issue. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.
Also, check your hosts file to verify that it's not blocking iTunes from communicating with the update server. See iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > Mac OS X > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. If you have software used to perform unauthorized modifications to the iOS device, uninstall this software prior to editing the hosts file to prevent that software from automatically modifying the hosts file again on restart.

I had been using Verbatim which had copied the music fine off the Real Player on my PC at school, but wouldn't work with I Tunes. Tried a Staples and an Office Depot CD-R , both of which did the job.

What application is set to open PDF files? If you CNTRL click on the file and open with Preview does the problem occur?
If not change the default application to open PDF files to Preview.
You can do this by highlighting the file and either use CMD i or Get Info , this will open a window with the info on the file with an option to change the application that opens the file.
That's all I can think of.

To try and resolve the 5200 error on your PIXMA MX700, please turn off printer, unplug the power cord from the back and leave it out for at least 10 minutes, then plug it back in and turn it back on. My computer a few days ago wouldn't start up, would just stay at the gray loading screen forever. So as a result I tried to reformat the hard drive and reinstall, but I can't reinstall, until I erase the hard drive, but when I try to erase the hard drive it says the erase failed due to an input/output error. What does this mean? What can I do to fix my computer?

The startup drive is failing, or there is some other internal hardware fault.
Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store, or go to another authorized service provider.
Back up all data on the internal drive(s) before you hand over your computer to anyone. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional — ask if you need guidance.
If privacy is a concern, erase the data partition(s) with the option to write zeros* (do this only if you have at least two complete, independent backups, and you know how to restore to an empty drive from any of them.) Don’t erase the recovery partition, if present.
Keeping your confidential data secure during hardware repair
Apple also recommends that you deauthorize a device in the iTunes Store before having it serviced.
*An SSD doesn't need to be zeroed.

Now it keeps saying that it is restored but there is still no music or video on it. And a new error is coming up that says "We could not complete your iTunes store request.The iTunes Store is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later."

I just recently returned an IPad air and exchanged it for another. I first set up this new one as a new IPad but then deleted all content and settings right away (since I wasn't getting the progress I had made in apps and games) in order to restore it from my previous IPad Air. I then checked after on how to backup via icloud and saw this line under the subtitle of how to restore from a backup, "For best battery performance, leave your device connected to a power source until the restore is complete." What does Apple mean by "for best battery performance"? Im just a bit worried of issues.
p.s. And yes I did have it connected to the power. And the ios is the default ios for new IPad Airs.

It only means you should restore whilst it is connected to a power supply, so that your battery doesn't go flat during the process.

I had to call my bank. They were aware of the problem with online banking and Firefox 4 and they were able to make adjustments at their end. I now have online access again.

It means – more or less – that the job action (burning the disk) failed.
Sometimes this happens because the app doesn't like something about a background image that is to be used in the menu. If you have such an image, reduce its dimensions. If you don't have one, in Settings in the dialog, cick Add and then Cancel.Some people have found that that alone is enough to kickstart the job action.
