Error 200404 sync with airplay

Hello,
I'm using an iPod touch with the most recent version of the OS as of 7/21/14.  I'm trying to play a video through my TV (GBox with Android, XBMC and Airplay).  I don't think this has as much to do with the box as the iPod.
If I play a video through a 3rd party app (ViaTube), I can watch a video on my TV.
If I play a "Home Video" through the Apple video player, I can watch a video on my TV.
However if I play a video I purchased through the Apple video player, I receive a error 200404 on the iPod.
Any ideas?
Thank you,
TJ

  • Error while syncing with iTunes 8.0.1

I get an error at the end while syncing, during photo uploads. It cancels out saying iPhone can't be synced. I've quit, restarted, reinstalled and nothing helps. Anyone experiencing the same?

I seem to recall error 39 is something to do with photos
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=8014304&#8014304
I might suggest first make sure you have a backup of the content of the phone by ctrl+click it under devices in iTunes and select backup.
Also make sure all your data is backed up from address book, ical, keychains, and export your bookmarks from safari just to be on the safe side.
Try just disabling photo syncing or contact syncing and see if you can isolate the issue
If you are syncing with iPhoto you may need to rebuild your library (I would back up everything first) http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2638
If it's not iPhoto try trashing the iPod Cache that is in the pictures folder.
If it is not photos you might try "reset sync history" from the iSync preferences or hunt up "Swarm of Bees" on the support site.

  • Sync Services error while Syncing with Mac & Entourage 2004

    Hello All,
I got an error '.Mac Sync Error' screen while syncing from Entourage 2004, v11.3.3 for Mac. OS X 10.4.10. Some data did sync, but the entries that did not are apparently untraceable. It said, "You can't modify a record that doesn't exist."
I tried wiping the old Addressbook on the Mac side to eliminate any corrupt
data. The first sync with Entourage and subsequent sync gives the same
error. Funny but my iPhone syncs great with Addressbook and doesn't give a
similar error. It may be that this error is on iCal instead. How do I find the error from the number given?
I checked the database in Entourage with Database Utility and no errors were
found. I also backed up the database and compacted it just so I'd have a
    copy.
The database does somehow get duplicate information to Addressbook with
subsequent syncs which end up duplicating entries on both Addressbook and
Entourage. iCal seems reliable but I don't know...
    Henry
    (Also posted in Newsgroup:microsoft.public.office.mac.entourage)

The push descriptor indicates that your machine is trying to push—or, send—data to an Unfiled calendar that does not exist elsewhere. 'Elsewhere' could be in the truth database on that machine, at .Mac or on another synchronized machine.
It's clearly not on your local machine in iCal anymore. If you reset the truth database by using the Reset Sync History… option in iCal, it should no longer be present on .Mac, if you subsequently synchronized. If you opted instead to Reset Sync Data and pushed records from .Mac to your machine, it is likely that it once again resides in your copy of iCal. If you opted to Reset Sync Data and pushed records from .Mac to your machine, it will not be present in iCal.
The most reasonable explanation, given what you have described and the error dialog you printed, is that this Unfiled Calendar exists on another synchronized Macintosh. If that is the case, you must also delete it from the copy of iCal on that machine.
If you don't have another synchronized machine in your pool, I can give you a terminal command that will completely obliterate your truth database and require that you start all over again, reregistering all of your clients—including Entourage—and starting all over.
You should, by the way, disable Entourage synchronization to isolate it and temporarily simplify your synchronization pool, until you have resolved this issue. Do not simply delete the Entourage calendar from iCal, for that will result in the deletion of matching records in Entourage itself during the next synchronization event.

  • DM error on sync with laptop

I posted this on the storm forum but realise it probably should have gone on this forum, as you'll see below I have tried everything to get my laptop to sync with the storm but it crashes everytime during the initial sync. Tried v5 with no success again last night.
Any suggestions.... currently paying for a phone (for the last three months) that is unusable!!
I have recently got my Storm back from repair only to discover that all my contacts have been erased. I had a problem prior to the repair trying to sync using the desktop manager as it crashed everytime while trying to sync. I have tried several times uninstalling and reinstalling/repairing the current DM software, also tried deleting the RIM folders etc. but DM crashes everytime I try to sync. Any ideas? running windows XP with the latest drivers/software.
    and again....
Sorry to repost this but this is driving me mad, I have tried everything to try to get my Storm to sync with my laptop and Outlook. Tried reloading, repairing, uninstalling, reinstalling, with Norton, without Norton, deleted registry files, re-deleted registry files and anything at all that mentions Blackberry or RIM etc etc been at it now for more than a week!!
This phone is completely usless to me as I can't sync to get my contacts back. I suspect that I may have a virus on my laptop but everything else is working fine, have done registry check and full system scan several times to see if there was any problems but nothing has ever came up. The desktop manager used to work and synced no problem....... I would rather chuck this phone away than have to re enter manually my contacts. I have called my provider and they can't help, I really don't want to have to completely re install my laptop OS just on the off chance that this might be the only thing that might get the DM to work again!!!
Seriously considering an iphone, and more stable Mac platform!!

    Hello scocha,
Thank you for answering my questions in such detail
What I'd like you to try is to open BlackBerry Desktop Manager and go to Synchronize, then  Sychronization on the left and then plug your device in.  You should hopefully see that the button for Synchronization on the right is greyed out until you connect your device.  Also, this shouldn't bring up the window for checking for updates although it might.  If we haven't failed yet, I'd like to click on Sychronization and uncheck all of the items in the list.  Press ok until you are back at the main screen of the Desktop Manager and then close the program entirely.
As long as everything is going well we should be able to start BlackBerry Desktop Manager the way you were initially by turning it on and then connecting your device.
If this works then we can narrow down which of the synchronization items are causing the trouble.
If this doesn't work then we will maybe need to look at your permissions on the computer or possibly create a new Windows user profile for testing.

    I keep getting this error:

It works fine on my Netbook ( Wind 7 32 Bit)
I am sure someone has this issue...

There are known issue with 64bit Win 7 and syncing...the best fix is to update the BIOS of the machine you're on and that helped most issues...highest issue reported was for people using a Gigabyte Motherboard and Win 7...
That's why it works on 32bit Win 7...something in the MB that communicates with synced devices doesn't like iPhone and the BIOS update is needed to address this until Microsoft releases a cover all fix.

  • Iphone 4s error when syncing with iPhoto on Macbook Pro

    Hello everyone,
The screen on my wife's iPhone 4s went out so I am trying to sync the pictures to iPhoto on our Macbook Pro.  She has 6,000+ pictures on the iPhone but when syncing to the computer iPhoto is able to read them all.  The problem is that when I hit the sync button or Import button it only reads about 200 or so photos then gives an error saying there was a problem with one of the pictures on the device so it can't sync at all.  The photos are the only thing that is important to us on the device so any help would be appreciated.  Thank you in advance to anyone who can help.  Also if anyone can recommend a different way or app or system to get them off using the Macbook Pro since the iPhone 4s screen is out i'm open to suggestions.  Thank you again.

  • IPhone and iPad error when syncing with itunes

iTunes cannot sync my iPhone 4 or iPad air, iPhone produces unknown error (-50), and iPad produces unknown error (-54), cannot sync. This problem started in the past seven days. Neither device is Jailbroken, so I know that's not a cause, any help?

I was having this problem and there isn't a lot out there about it. But it seems to have gone away with iOS 7.1, which is nice.

  • N81 8GB error during sync with WMA

  • Error message syncing with dot mac

I keep getting the following errormessage after syncing ical with my dotmac account (I typed *** exact as possible, but I not sure about the spaces):
    * -[CalendarChangeLogMapper
    performSelector:withObject:]: null selector
I have no idea what this means, or how to correct this.
    Anyone?

Thanks Dancin'. By the way, I solved my problem as follows:
    1. I unregistered both my main computer (running Tiger) and my laptop (running 10.3)
    2. After unregistering both computers I responded to the message about deleting unused iSync files on dotMac and I deleted iCal only.
    3. Then I re-registered my main computer and performed the initial sync for iCal only (all calendars). That worked, whereas before I was getting an error message.
    4. I connected my Palm device and launched iSync and reset the Palm calendar and ToDo items. This worked fine whereas before I was getting an error message.
    5. I went to my laptop (connected to the LAN) and registered it to dotMac.
    6. I reset my iCal on the laptop.
The suggestion to do all this came from Apple after i submitted a trouble report to them as per an earlier suggestion by some bright person in this thread. They responded within 24 hours with a long email with the above procedure. So it appears that there are known issues with Tiger because they asked me to send them any calendar files that ended up causing a problem. I didn't really have any corrupted files apparently.
Three things they did suggest as a best practice when using iCal:
    - Create finite events that have a beginning and an end. Try not to let events continue over several years.
    - Examine To Do item, titles, and notes to verify the integrity of the data.
    - Try removing the alarms
    Hope this helps!

    Hello,
For this one, I think you will need to open a service request with TAC.
I would look at the umlog on the SCE and the SM, as well as the dbglog.txt from the SCE.
These can be found in the support files:
    SCE#logger get support-file ftp://user:[email protected]/./support-file.zip
    ~pcube/sm/server/bin//p3sm --extract-support-file -o SM-Support.zip
Also, run a tcpdump on the SM when trying to resync and look for anomalies in the connection.  Look also for the CPU usage on the SCE.
    Regards,
    Tom Debruyne
