Error -2147221164 when logging to a database.

I have deployed a runtime teststand sytem. The operator interface and sequences run properly and the test report is created. However when data base logging is enabled an error -2147221164 occurs. This error states "An error occurred calling 'NewUUT' in 'ITSDBLog' of 'TestStnad Database Loggin' Database logging uses the NI Session Manager server to manage shared database connections. A call to create teh Session Manager failed. Please verify that this ActiveX server is properly registered." It occurs at location "step 'New UUT for Databasse logging' of sequence 'Test UUTs' in 'SequentialModel.Seq'
Has any one seen this issue or know why this may be occuring?
Regards,
Chad

The DLL that is not registered is "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Shared\Session Manager\NISessionServer.dll".
To manually reregister the DLL, you can run "regsvr32.exe ", where you specify the file above.
You should also be able to use the TestStand Version Selector application located at "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Shared\TestStand Version Selector\TSVerSelect.exe" and select MakeActive button. One of the steps it does in reregister this DLL.

  • Error message when logging in to SAP B1

    Hello,
Does anybody have a clue, on that error message when I'm trying to
log in to SAP B1: Invalid column name 'AppTime' ?
I cannot log in to SAP B1, the error message appears (from MSSQL server),
immediately after typing username/password and clicking OK on the log on
    window.
    Thank you,
    Balazs

    Hi,
You can easily verify by yourself that no column AppTime exists in a standard B1 installation (just tested on 2007A SP01 PL6).
You should have a reference to an external database or extension (addon)...
    What addons are you using?

  • Error Message when logging on "The Group Policy Client service failed the logon. Access is denied"

Since the move to Windows 7 we have started getting this error above when people login at random times and on random machines, at first we thought it was only a select few users, but now it seems to have occurred to about 20 different Staff members working
at the school. Also of those 20 odd users it has happened to them on a few occasions.
    What we know
We know this problem is only occurring to staff with Roaming Profiles, it seems like somehow the profile is not Synchronizing with the Servers File Share that houses the profiles, which causes the NTUSER.DAT file to become corrupt and go from being around
2 – 3 MBs to 256KB (In all cases where a user has had this issue there NTUSER.DAT file has been 256KB)
    Current Resolution to the problem
When a staff member contact us with this problem, we fortunately have Previous Versions working on the profiles folder on the server, so we are able to restore their NTUSER.DAT file from 1 to 2 days before it became corrupt, which then seems to allow them
    to log on fine
What we have tried so far & suggested so far
After some research on Google, we found the following thread on EduGeek
    http://www.edugeek.net/forums/windows-7/78733-windows-7-user-profile-failed-error-again.html#post700415
Which suggested that the problem may lay within registry, so we implemented the Script that was posted on the website, however this has not seemed to make any difference
In the early stages when only 5 – 10 staff seemed to be having the problem, we believed the issue could be with just certain AD accounts. It had not seemed to happen to any recently created AD accounts so we thought it could be a corrupt attribute on
the user so we delete one of the staff AD accounts that had the problem and creating a brand new one, however within about 2 – 3 weeks that staff member had the issue occur again
Leading on from point two, we also thought the problem could be with people using multiple computers, logging on in 2 places and not logging off properly, but unfortunately the staff member referred to in point 2 only uses the one computer in reception.
Another potential cause that we figured might be the route of the problem, was it could be specific computers that are not communicating properly with the server, which could be causing this problem to occur, but we have no real way of testing this,
as the staff generally log onto 3 – 4 different computers throughout the day and in different location
We log a call with EE and they just pointed us to various websites that we had already checked and wasn’t much help.
    In Summary
This error has now occurred with about 20 members of staff, we currently only use Windows 7 at our Senior School & Moving to Windows 7 at our Prep School in the Summer
holidays, we would like to find out the route of this problem ideally before then, as we could potentially be doubling the amount of staff with the problem after the move. Has anyone else seen this problem or have a brain wave on how to solve it?
    Regards
    Andy

    Hi Dudleya,
First of all ,I would suggest to check the permissions of the NTUSER.DAT registry hive .Here is a link for reference :

  • Error message when logging into financial reporting studio 11.1.1.3

I receive the following error message when I attempt to login in to financial reporting studio 11.1.1.3:
"You are not authorized to use this functionality. Please contact your administrator."
I'm attempting to login with the default "admin" user that appears to have been automatically provisioned with all user rights.
I see the following error message in FRClient.log (on the client):
09-14 13:48:40 ERROR ConfigResourceBundle     Could not find fr_configcache.properties file
The server components (foundation, fr server, essbase) are on a linux machine and fr studio (along with the common foundation files) are installed on a windows machine.
The fr_configcache.properties file does not exist on the client but it does on the server.

I tried copying the file fr_configcache.properties to c:\hyperion\products\biplus\lib and this got rid of the error message that shows up in FRClient.log but I still receive the same authorization error message in the GUI.

  • I keep getting an error message when logging onto iCloud. It states that "you cant sign in because of a server error".  But the cloud status is "normal".

This is happened today after I udpated my iPad to IOS v7 and iTunes to 11.1.0.126  and only for one of my computers.  I keep on getting an error message when trying to log onto iCloud.  The error message is "you cannot sign-in because of a server error" but the iCloud status is "normal" and iCloud is fine on my other computers.

Next day the problem still continued.  I did restart my computer a couple of times and then "it worked".  Not sure why - if it really was a server problem or something on my side.

  • Error 5002 When Logging Into iTunes Store

A few years back, I had a different email and a different AppleID; I still listen to the music that I purchased under that account, and I need to authorize my laptop now. When I tried to log in (I verified that the password is correct), I get this error:
"We could not complete you iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (5002)"
However, it doesn't happen when logging into my current iTunes account, or my husband's.
Anyone else have this issue? Should I just try to contact Apple Support directly to resolve?

I'm also getting this error. The only thing that is different is that I synced my iPhone to my MBP after several weeks.
I tried updating one of my free iPhone apps but I was told there was an error in downloading the information. I figured it was because I had moved and changed my address for my credit card but had not updated it on my iTunes account. When trying to go into my account through iTunes I got the Error 5002... I guess I'm not the only person to have this problem.
    Any help would be great.

  • Error Message when logging on 2nd user on XP

I have an XP system with two users. For the past week or so, an error has been displaying when you log on the 2nd user. The error is an IE explorer window that says "This Web Page can not be displayed" and there is a little red Verizon logo in the upper left corner.
I ran MSConfig on the 2nd user and there is a line to run something called redirector. The command line is:
    C:\Program Files\Verizon\McciBrowser.exe -AppKey=Verizon -URL=file://C:\Program Files\Verizon\OfflineUpdate\redirector.htm
I do not have this line in my startup on User1. I also do not have a folder called OfflineUpdate under my Program Files\Verizon which is why it is failing. I suspect that what ever it was removed itself after it ran and a multi-user logon was not considered in the program design. But I'm not certain. I have FIOS Internet, TV and phone. No blackberry or other device that I may sync mail to.
Does anyone have any idea what this is?  My plan is to either disable it with MSConfig - or just remove the RUN key from registry but I'd like to have an idea of what it was
    Thanks in advance.

Nothing wrong with disabling it in MSConfig for testing reasons.
It causes issues, you can re-enable it.

    Hi All,
How to get default screen for the deleted user when we recreate the same user with same name?
i have deleted the user for ex. 'XYZ' (from the catalog user group managemet) and when again i am trying to browse the obiee with the same user i.e. XYZ (after passing the authentication using some LDAP) then i am getting the error like 'Error U9KP7Q94'.
can anyone help me in this..

I don't really see your problem. Do you have any error message ?
You may have may be a security problem.
Have you see in the catalog manager if you have the right / grant for the user on the report.
You can log as administrator / go to the catalog manager / shared folder / catalog root / users /
    - on your user / in the items properties, set the owner ship to the administrator
    - go to the security icon of the directory user
    - give the access to the administrator
and then you have access to the directory
To see the grant of each file, you must do the same manipulation (become the owner, change the security, ...)
    Success

Sure someone can. Usually guy, who would know how to turn off your computer or network firewalls. If you do know how to do that yourself, do and see if that helps.
