Just so Im clear you install the quicktime WITHOUT iTUnes right? If you have done that and the issue persist, go here and follow ALL steps for removing itunes AND quicktime, Especailly "Clean up iTunes installer files on the computer" http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93976
Disable ALL antivirus/security programs and try downloading/installing itunes again. Might even try downloading with a different internet browser than you normally use

What is the computer operating system involved? Can we assume Premiere Elements 12 as the new purchase? And, are you trying to install from an installation disc or from purchased online downloaded installation files?
I have not run into Error 2350. FDI Server Error before, but here are some links that talk about Error 2350. Please see if any of them apply to your situation.

Itunes 7.0.2 Quicktime error 2350

I have been trying for the past 2 days to download music onto a nano 2nd generation ipod. This is a Christmas gift for my friend's daughter, and I am trying to help her out. I have an ipod shuffle and have never had a problem downloading music. However, once I was ready to download to the nano ipod it told me I needed to update by downloading itunes 7.0.2.....I tried this...several times and several different ways...however it keeps coming back to error code 2350. Could someone PLEASE help a frustrated woman solve this problem?!! I need the answer ASAP...since it is a Christmas present!

I seem to have a similar problem installing the latest version of Adobe Reader 9.3 as others have had in the past with other Adobe products, but I'm not sure I understand either the cause or solution. I previously had Adobe Reader 7 on my laptop and, having successfully downloaded version 9.3 from the web site along with the DLM, the installation stopped at c. 98% and recorded 'Error 1335, The cabinet file Data 1.cab required for installation is corrupt. Could indicate Network Error, error reading from CD ROM or problem with package.' Choosing the 'Ignore' option brought up 'Error 2350 FDI server error'. I have consequently lost Adobe Reader 7 and cannot install 9.3. I have cleared the downloaded files and tried again from scratch with the same result. I am running Windows XP with all the latest updates. Can anyone explain the nature of the Error messages and how I can overcome them please? I am experiencing EXACTLY the same problem as the original poster on this chain with the full Adobe Acrobat 9.3.3

The same error happened from my installation disk and from the product trial version download. I was on with Adobe Technical Support for 2.5 hours yesterday and he failed to resolve the situation and I broke off the support call, simply angered and frustrated.
I am attempting to install under Windows 7, and this is the only program I have attempted to install that has had even a blip.
I might note in addition that due to the recurrent "License Recovery" issue, my prior install of Acrobat 9 refuses to work almost daily, and I simply run the License Recovery fix every morning.
Adobe software delivers great functionality when it works, but I have to say I am really sick and tired of the time I waste trying to get these products to work and install at a basic level!
Is there a workable download equivalent to the Reader solution you provided for the full Adobe Acrobat 9.3.3? Or an upgraded file that would accept my product key

i'm trying to install"FontPack11000_XtdAlf_Lang" on my computer, but there is an error message

i just ignored the message, but another came up "Error 2350.FDI server error". This one just can't be ignore........i need help

Corrupt cabinet file - QuickTime.cab - error code 2350

I've attempted to install itunes many times without success. Each time I get a message "cabinet file Quicktime.cab is corrupt and cannot be used. Error code 2350". The installation process then stops and reverses all changes. I've tried troubleshooting - uninstalling QuickTime, installing script files for XP, deleting temp folders, etc without success. I've even downloaded the original zip file of itunes several times without avail. Any ideas?

I have the same problem. Everytime I try to download ITunes 7.0 I get a Cabinet File Error that says "itunes.cab' file is corrupt and cannot be used. It reads error 2350 and will not let me install the itunes setup. I have also tried to uninstall and retry but have no luck. I've attempted to download this installer mulitple times. I even tried downloading it from a seperate NIC since I saw one guy had an nvidia firewall issue. I am attempting to install it from my desktop folder and I'm also on the administrator profile on this PC. I'm running WinXP SP2. No firewalls up.
I've tried the Microsoft Cleanup utility, but itunes nor quicktime were listed. I've deleted all reg keys associated with apple. My system is totally void of all Apple related installations.
I tried to install the iPod software seperately and succeeded. If I hit retry a few times, the progress bar goes all the way across before I have to hit ignore. I then get a white x with a red circle saying Internal Error 2350. The installation rolls back and another message comes up.
Error: -1603 Fatal error during installation.

I'm at a loss.

I finally figured it out. All those temp directories in the other posts don't get down to the solutions.
First, I have a built in nvidia firewall on one of my nics. I switched nics and redownloaded the itunes installer. I then went to the properties of the installer.
If you look at the comments of the installer, you may see something like this:
Setup=iTunesSetup.exe
Silent=2
Path=.\%windir%\Downloaded Installations\{872653C6-5DDC-488B-B7C2-CF9E4D9335E5}
Overwrite=2
So, I went to my c:\windows\downloaded installations\ folder and deleted that folder that started with 872..
Since I did that, the installer went through like nothing else.
iTunes is now working and installing successfully. I hope this helps for anyone else.

My problem is that when I installed TS on this computer, The redistributable Engine Components part failed and I selectected to continue. I have uninstalled all of the NI software and deleted the c:\Program Files\National Instruments\ folder. Re-installed LAbview 7.0 and then re-installed Testand 3.0 in that order. The same error occurred "corrupt or damaged Cabs.w1.cab file" during part 4 of install. The error was #1335. I looked in the redist folder and 24 msm files had been installed at the time of the error. When the program continued it reported that error #2350 had occurred. Yesterday I tried to add the redist files from a Demo CD and got the same results.

I tried to download the pc suite for my Nokia 6101 and keep getting

I haven't got to the bottom of it, but I followed the instructions on the thread below and eventually got the old version (from the CD) re-installed and working. I was only upgrading to keep up-to-date, so I'll probably stick with the verion I have from CD. Maybe next time the Data Suite is updated it won't trigger this problem? Best of luck!

Did you save iTunesSetup.exe to your hard drive and run it?
Or are you trying to run the install over the internet?

Data3.cab corrupt error 1335

New installation from DVD got error 1335: data3.cab corrupt. I pressed the ignore option and got error 2350: FDI server error - then I have to abort installation. Turned off Norton and also downloaded DVD to my HDD and run from there but same problem. The DVD doesn't look damaged but I wiped it anyway and still no joy. Please help with suggestions.

that's a windows (not adobe) error usually caused by a corrupted cabinet file. download a pse 12 trial to get an uncorrupted installation file.

if you have a problem downloading, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com

Win7 Unable to Install PSE9 Error 1335

I have a HP Pavilion DV-4 laptop running Win 7 Pro. I purchased a boxed PSE9. When attempting the autorun installation process, I recieve a "Error 1355. The cabinet file 'Data11.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could be a network error, an error reading from the CD-Rom, or a problem with this package." The installer presents three options ""Abort", "Retry", and "Ignore."
I have taken the following steps:
1. Clicked "Ignore." Presented with "Error 2350.FDI server error".
2. Clicked "Retry." Presented with repeated "Error 1355"
3. Cleaned PSE9 install CD and retry autorun install. Same "Error 1355".
4. Downloaded trial PSE9 from adobe.com intending to use boxed serial key. When running installer, "A problem occurred while extracting some files. Check available disk space on your computer and the write priviledge of the destination folder." I have installation rights (installed Chrome, Firefox today as well). I have >190 GB of free disk space.
5. Copied contents of PSE9 Install CD to new folder (C:/PSE9Installer) and ran Autoplay.exe. Received same "Error 1355".
I then successfully installed PSE9 on girlfriend's computer using the PSE9 install CD.
Any ideas?

Just purchased Photoshop Elements 12 and downloaded. I get Error 1335 (Data3.cab) and Error 2350 (FDI server). I cannot activate the program fails to load.
