Error 2912 No more threads

Hi folks,
Is this a known error? One of my hosts is showing as "Needs Attention" with this error alongside the Refresh Host - System Job Command:
Error (2912)
An internal error has occurred trying to contact an agent on the hyperv1.ms.domain.local server.
(No more threads can be created in the system (0x800700A4))
Recommended Action
Ensure the agent is installed and running. Ensure the WS-Management service is installed and running, then restart the agent.
There's no pattern as to when I get this show up in the VMM console, whether the console is on my local workstation on or the VMM08 server. The host in question is a Server 2008 Enterprise box with 8 CPU cores, 20GB RAM, 300GB disk ... no errors in the event logs on either the host or VMM server.
I've seen that error (0x800700A4) in Google searches, but don't see any circumstances which can possible relate to this environment. If I stop the WinRM service, which stops the VMM Agent, then restart the WMI service (and all the dependent services) then start VMM, it shows up just fine. The HyperV and VMM servers are fully patched.
Any clues?

Performance on the box is good - ran performance logging on it for the week last week, and there aren't any bottlenecks.
2 x Quad 2.8GHz Xeon CPUs
20GB ECC RAM
2 x 72GB 15k RPM SCSI U320 Disks as RAID1 for O/S
6 x 72GB 15k RPM SCSI U320 Disks as RAID5 plus Hot Spare for Data
4 x 1Gbps NICs
Roles: Hyper-V
Features: SNMP
The five virtual machines on this host are extremely low priority machines - one development server, two developer test servers, one depreciated server running Lyris list manager, and one server with WSS3.0 for an IT blog which doesn't even get one post per day.
The five VMs have one CPU assigned each, and as a whole they use 6.5GB of RAM total. 215GB of the 340GB hard drive space is available. All five of these VMs were migrated from a smaller server running Virtual Server 2005.
Obviously with SCVMM08 being beta we wouldn't be managing any major servers with it, and I'm hoping this is something we can get sorted by the RTM version (like the frequent console crashes, etc), because I *really* like SCVMM08!
Further thoughts? Appreciate the help.

QM error "The user profile service service failed the logon. No more threads can be created in the system."

Hi,
I've a client running QM 8.x. QM is working and all recordings are present, it's just that when logging into the server, following error mesasge is displayed:
The user profile service service failed the logon.
No more threads can be created in the system.
Any suggestions on this issue will be greatly appreciated.

VMM - Add 2 hosts in cluster. 1st added OK, 2nd Failed Error 416. Retry gives Error 2912 An instance of the service is already running 0x80070420

Have 2 host cluster as part of infrastructure adding to VMM.
Added cluster server. 1st had no issue and has picked up it's VMs. Second gave this error below:
Error (416)
Agent installation timed out while waiting on service VMMAgentInstaller on host02domain.private.
Recommended Action
Ensure that the Windows Installer service is running on host02.domain.private and try the operation again.
Sure the Windows Installer has nothing to do with this but in case I manually started it on the server without issue.
On retrying first without starting Windows Installer manually and then doing so in both instances I get:

I've tried killing the VMM Agent running on the host (which is running now after the attempted deploy) and rerunning - as the second error indicates it can't run because it's already running (far as I can figure). But even though it takes longer to run then
it still fails with exactly the same error.
I've checked the host and winrm shows as already running and already set up for remote management.
Am I missing something?

Did you follow the document ?

For your case , I would suggest you to stop VMM service and remove the added cluster from
scvmm then follow the article and add cluster again .

When we want to create a template of a virtual machine, we receive the following error. The environment has the following components and servers:
* Windows Server 2012 R2 U1 with Hyper-V role enabled
* High available Virtual Machine Manager 2012 R2 RU2 (two virtual servers on Hyper-V 2012 R2)
* High available Virtual Machine Manager 2012 R2 Library servers (two virtual servers on Hyper-V 2012 R2)
There're a few things I've already checked:
* Self-signed certificates in the Trusted People store --> OK
* Windows Firewall turn off --> OK
* Re-added a Hyper-V host to the SCVMM environment
* Reboot the VMM servers and the library servers
* Export port usage and conflicts with netstat -a -b --> OK, no conflicts
* Free disk space on the VMM library servers --> OK
The job is starts fine, but step 1.2 "Store virtual machine W2012R2TMPL from HV01 to CLSCVMMLIB01" Failed. So it looks like the sysprep fase is going well. When VMM is trying to store the virtual machine in the library, it fails.
Who is familar with this issue and can help me find a solution for this?

We have multiple VM's on multiple hosts and clusters showing up with the following error:

Recommended Action
Check that WS-Management service is installed and running on server <FQDN of Host>. For more information use the command "winrm helpmsg hresult". If <FQDN of Host> is a host/library/update server or a PXE server role then ensure that VMM

Once you move a VM from a node with the issue to a different node and refresh it is fine. We have recently rebuild some of the clusters.

Since nobody replied, I opened a case with MS.
The resolution to this issue is to use Hyper-V manager to connect to the node you migrated the VM from. Here you will see a VM that has only a GUID for a name and is in an incomplete state. Right click this leftover VM and delete it using Hyper-V manager.
Then go back into SCVMM and refresh both your source Windows 2008R2 and then your target 2012 clusters. This will reconcile the SCVMM database and the duplicate VM. According to MS, there is some process that didn't complete deleting this VM as part of the
migration and performing these steps cleanly resolves the issue.

Error "One or more values could not be set" - Oracle Connector

Hey guys - I should have known there was a forum here with smart people. I'm hoping someone can shed a little light on our latest issue. When we try to invite people not within our company to a meeting, (even if they are included in our contact list/address book, etc) the error "one or more values could not be set" I'm pretty sure it's a forms error, but can't seem to resolve it. It started with the 2003 outlook service patch. I've applied every connector patch available and have searched for an answer, but can't resolve this icky problem (very crabby users) I've searched this forum but didn't see this topic. If it's already been addressed, forgive me and point me to the thread. If it hasn't and anyone has an idea, I'd appreciate some help!

Then if it is still broken.
Double-check all of the unlikely places in your report structure. Look at the subreport links. Look through all your formulas (including the ones for formatting). Keep in mind that Crystal doesn't have IntelliText, so you need to double-check (or even triple-check) that everything is spelled correctly.
Odds are strong that, somewhere in there, you are accidentally referencing a field that doesn't exist.

Error: One or more categories of approval could not be loaded

On the Approvals page I'm getting the following message: "Error: One or more categories of approval could not be loaded". I'm able to approve/reject work and new tasks as normal, but the message just won't go away.
As one of the threads suggested, I tried creating a new rule to auto accept and publish, but that didn't do anything. Is there a way to fix this or reset the page? Thanks for any help...

Go to Server Setting
-> Administrative Task
Change Approval to “NO” for all Admin tasks
By delegating user delete and resubmit timesheet. Now verify it in Approval Center... Revert back the Administrative time setting...
If issue still persists, You can try to change Status manager, By dedicating user delete and resubmit timesheet. Now verify it in Approval Center of new Status Manager. Revert back the status manager.

How to use one stream by two or more threads?

Hey guys,
i have got a little problem and do not know how to solve it. i hope you guys can are able to help me.
i have opened a bluetooth socket connection. now i want to use these streams by three or more threads. one thread should only read from an input stream. the other threads are supposed to write on the ouput stream.
(I think) I am only able to open one stream in each direction.
How do I realize the use of the output stream by two indepent threads?

I am trying to create a Import Adaptive Webservice Model. I am using the WSDL:

I am getting the below error when I choose WSDL source as UDDI or file (I am not using any logical destination)
"Error in loading the WSDL file. Check the error log for more details."
Where can i see the error log? And what is the solution to fix this?
I am able to create the model if i save the wsdl locally on my machine and choose Local File System or File as the WSDL source. But at runtime this fails as the application tries to read the WSDL for metadata info and it looks into the application server for this file.
I also tried creating the old webservice model. And it is able to create the model. But I feel I need to use the new model as this one is deprecated.

Access denied error when Loading document library for "contribute" users : Unknown SPRequest error occurred. More information: 0x80070005

We are facing a very strange issue on a SharePoint Publishing portal. Domain users (contribute level access) have access to document libraries under specific sub sites. Every morning if they try to access the document library pages, users complain about "Access Denied" issue on document library page. But if a SP Farm admin account login on site, and browse to document library page, access denied issue seems to disappear for end users also. For whole day it works fine. But next day access denied error occurs again. I am not sure why this is happening. I have looked into Event Log and SharePoint Logs, found following information useful, but not sure what to do next.

/Projects/LFB/03 Bid Stage 1/Forms/AllItems.aspx
Does the sub site have unique permission instead of inheriting permission from the parent site? If no, you need to make the sub site to inherit permission from the site collection so that master page also inherits the right. If this is not allowed in your organization, please go to “Site Actions”à “Site Settings” à “Master Pages and Page Layouts” to give users permissions on this document library.

My Zen 4GB cannot be turned on anymore after a failed firmware upgrade (The installation hung up). I tried to run the firmware upgrade executable file again but the player must be on. So I tried to hardware reset by switching the power slide on while pressing the play button, but it still doesn't start. I downloaded and ran the Recovery Tool while the player was connected, but an error message appeared: "ERROR: You have more than one Creative players connected. Please remove all but one, click "OK" to exit and then run this program again." - There was no other players connected but the ZEN. Please help... What can I do

Approval Center Error: One or more categories of approval could not be loaded

We are using EPM 2013 version , recently one of our user encountered a problem with Approval Center while accepting task updates, on the Default welcome page he has 112 Pending approvals but while clicking Approval center he getting error as "Error:
One or more categories of approval could not be loaded when user wants to approve" We have checked on the following possibilites but still we are facing this issue Kindly help us on this
1. I have checked user permission He has Project Manager Access and Timehseet Approval Access
2.While changing the task ownership to another PM and the task is reflecting correcly on the new PM's Approval center while reverting back the task owneership he faces same issue.
3. He is trying for the task updates, we have tried re sving user profiles but nothing changed issue still occours
4. Checked on the ULS Log And find the error
Permission denied: User i:0#.w|enterprise\User01
does not have global permission 'ManageServerConfiguration'.
Please revert for any other information required.

Two of my PM's are getting the error shown in the title of this post (Error: One or more categories of approval could not be loaded when user wants to approve).    The "Related Topic" issues a work around of using the rules to "automatically approve the
offending items".   This did not work for us.   Has anyone else experienced this issue?

The PM does the following:
1. Access PWA Home page and review messages
2. Clicks on “You have 1 timesheet from resources pending your approval” message
3. Approval Center Page loaded with “Error: One or more categories of approval could not be loaded” and “There are no new approvals to review at this time. If you have published your plan and
still do not see approvals, have your resources submit updates from “Tasks” of “Timesheet”” messages.
We've made certain the Schedule is published and the timesheet was submitted correctly.
Expected behavior: Timesheet records should be available for review and approval.   Instead, the PM gets the screen below with the error message
