Error 3: "Windows cannot start the Firefox Service on Local Computer...?

Question

When I click on the Services option under Microsoft Management and try to start the FIREFOX SERVICE I get this hiccup:
'''Windows could not start the Firefox Service on Local Computer;
Error 3: the system cannot find the path selected'''
...Any suggestions on how I can hep Windows find that path?
--I have a heck of a time getting windows to signal my Firefox browser--takes several clicks and over 6 or 7 minutes to emerge!

Many thanks for your help and diligence.
...I went through your advised operations, made sure I didn't delete my Personal Profile, and so on.
--Did not have a hard time uninstalling Firefox, and after I got rid of the downloaded file,
I continued re-installing Ff.
So all you suggested was fine and effective,

--All the same, despite Local Computer's stubbornness , Firefox does emerge sooner than before, and I have you to thank for it.
Some day I will learn why Error 3 keeps being blind to Ff's path!
