Error -3150 when purchasing a song

I just got back fro holydays and found that i can't purchase songs anymore. The purchase is ok, but the download stops with an -3150 error.
Please, help !!!!
What's is the definition of the -3150 ?

I am trying to purchase a song from iTunes. I am getting an error, "Could not purchase. An unknown error occurred (5002). There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later.
This has been happening all morning. I am unable to purchase this song on my PC, my Mac, my iPhone, or my iPad. On the iPhone or iPad, no error is received, it just goes to the download section, says "waiting" as the status and then disappears. I have also tried to change my credit card on file and I am still getting the same error.

Quit iTunes.
Open iTunes.
Test the issue.
If it persists, sign in to store.apple.com using your iTunes account
Click on Change account information
Modify or remove your credit card information.
Click Continue.

Purchased Playlist Song Order When Purchasing New Songs

I recently transferred my music (including my purchased playlist) to my new computer. Everything runs fine, but I cannot figure out how to change the preferences on my purchased playlist. Previously, when I downloaded songs via the iTunes Store, they showed up at the top of the playlist (#1). However, now, they show up as the very last song in the playlist, which I dont like. I want to see the newest purchases at the top of the playlist. I've tried clicking the arrow above the numbers, to reverse the order, which works, but then when I purchase another song, it still puts it at the bottom of the list. How do I change it so that the most recent purchases show at the top of the list?

Sort by *Date Added* and click the triangle so it's pointing down.

Error -3150 when downloading from iTunes Store

For the past several days since upgrading to iT8, when I've tried to download files from iTunes, it has errored out at some point of the download with error -3150. I got this error when downloading a 9MB podcast file, and also a 1.64GB HD tv show.
When I got it on the podcast, it reset all of the file's progress and started over. Thankfully, it did not do it with the TV show (which was 999MB through) or I would have been considerably more upset, but it did waste all the time I was using to download it. ADSL is terrible in the country I'm currently staying in, but it's all that's available to me.
In any case, I have not seen any mention of this error anywhere, and would appreciate knowing what it means, and more importantly, what Apple is doing about it.

Well, I guess that will have to do. Thanks for the heads up. It is a DSL connection, and there's not much that I can do about intermittent connections because cable/satellite is literally nonexistant in this country. However, Apple might want to consider revamping their file transfer protocols if this is going to be a standard problem - this would be in their best interest especially since they're going to be releasing the iPhone all over the world, and very few places have Internet speeds like USA and East Asia.

New Apple TV- get error -3150 when trying to turn on home sharing

I bought an ATV2-can't get home sharing on, won't accept Apple ID, can't make anything work. Rebooted Airport extreme, two computers, no help....spent two hours on two different occassions yesterday at Genius Bar where ATV2 worked perfectly. Get error message 3150 when password is not accepted.

Me neither... But my home haring did just come back after signing in and out of iTunes and trying to turn on home sharing....judging by the popularity of this issue right now and the older posts on the subject, it would seem that it's some kind of glitch with the apple servers.

Error -3150 when downloading update for iPod touch app

I just started getting an error when I try to download an update for one of the apps I have on my iPod touch. I was able to download the update with no problems through the App Store app on my iPod touch, but whenever I try to download it using iTunes for Windows, I get an Error -3150. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same problem with my iPhone 3G.

Recently upgraded to 7.2 error message when purchasing videos

We have just been forced to upgrade to the new version and now when we try to purchase a video we are getting the message that it has already been purchased but if it has not been downloaded yet then click OK. So we do this and then we are getting the error message "unable to check for purchases. An unknown error has occurred (5002)". If anyone else is having this problem can they help. Thanks

Error 5002 when purchasing and downloading shows/songs from itunes

I keep getting an error(5002) message that tells me to try itunes store later. I can download podcasts and free songs, but not the tv show subcription I have and other items that cost $. Anyone have any ideas?

Hmmm, What do we all have in common other than Windows and an error code?
I'm keeping all my media on an external 250GB MyBook HDD.
I have a 60GB Ipod Video and am connecting via the USB port on my monitor.
I have iTunes version 7.0.2.16 which it says is the latest version
I have Windows Live One Care (tried turning off the firewall, no luck)
i can download music fine, video is the issue.
I can't think if anything else, I'm too upset I can't get the video I want for my plane ride :c(

I get an error message when purchasing mountain lion

I currently have Mac OS X 10.6.8. I just freshly formatted and re-installed Mac OS X and Windows 7 on a partition using bootcamp. The last time I tried installing 10.8 it failed because it was unable to create a partition it needed (I forget details). I got a refund for the 19.99 purchase.
Now I'm trying to purchase it again, but the 19.99 price changes to "Download". I did not purchase it again as far as I'm aware. When I click "Download" I get an error message "The update is for an app downloaded with a different Apple ID. Sign in with that Apple ID and try again."
I don't have and never did have another Apple ID. What's the problem here?

Try resetting the App Store.
Reset Learned from Old Toad
and
- Sign out of the App Store (in the Store menu)
- Quit the App Store
- In Finder - Go>Go to folder... (or Apple-shift-G)
- Paste in the following "~/Library/Caches/ "
- It will take you to a folder. Delete com.apple.appstore
- Launch the App Store.

Error 50 when i update songs

I just upgraded to itunes 5.0 and i think ever since i did i have been getting this error saying i cant update my songs because of error 50. it will go through the updating in the upper part of the screen and the songs will be on the ipod but this error comes up. any suggestions?

I have the same problem, but I ran some tests on it.
The problem for me occurs only when I sync my outlook calendar.
I have tried turning off and on the other sync options and it seems like the calendar is the only problem.
I then cleared out everything in the calendar and replaced it with a single entry and that went fine.
I have readded all of the calendar content from a back up in 6 mth blocks and iTunes has been able to synch them properly.
Problem solved.
I would guess that the problem is with the quantity of data being transferred (more or less) so with Photos or with Contacts, perhaps trying the same thing, breaking it down into chunks, might solve the problem.
Anyone with a better solution? I would be very happy to hear it. Meantime, I hope this helps.

Error -100000 when downloading gifted songs

So for Christmas, my uncle gifted me a bunch of songs (three albums and four songs). In one of the albums, the Dick Figures Season 1 Soundtrack, I cannot download four songs. iTunes keeps giving me error -100000. It says the file is corrupt and I should try again, blah blah blah. Well, I tried to search for solutions online, and I did everything that I found: reboot computer, delete corrupted files from iTunes folder, update iTunes, etc. etc. and the songs are still not working. Any solution to this?

Error reading when purchasing Album!

I don't know why but I am getting an error after trying to download an album. I've purchased albums before and this hasn't happened. It's telling me it's not able to connect to my network but my internet is running. I downloaded the first song to my purchased folder but nothing after that. Anybody know how to help? What's happening?

Download error message when purchasing and downloading itunes music

Error message occuring often in the process of downloading music to the itouch, then it says tap to re-try, which does nothing, eventually have to sync with laptop to complete and get music on itouch.

I have this SAME problem, except even when I sync with my computer the error remains. Is there any way to cancel a download from the iPod Touch?

HT201359 Error message when purchasing on itunes "contact apple support." Apple support refers me to the Terms and Conditions.... No further help from live support person. Unable to spend $ in Apple Store. Seems like a bad business model... Anybody?

I'm getting a contact Apple Support message when trying to purchae in itunes. Unable to buy anything. Live support says "read terms and conditions". No place to confirm acceptance. No additional help available. Seems crazy - All I want to do is give them my money....Anybody?

This is a follow up. Finally, after almost 72 hours, I recieved another email from the original iTunes support representative. According to her, the problem is that one or more of my songs on the account are either not eligible for the upgrade or the file is corrupted and can not be upgraded. In short I cannot use the "Buy All" feature because I will always hit this roadblock. The only way to resolve this, is to upgrade each song individually or select a few songs at a time to upgrade.
I will have to do this until I get the song or songs that is causing the problem. Once I have identified the song(s), I can chose to repurchase them and get a refund. All songs today are at the DRM free format so repurchased songs will automatically be the upgraded file.
So I'll now begin the upgrade of the 314 songs. I guess it could be worse.
Okay, I got an answer and an offer of a refund, but this answer certainly could have been provided three days ago. Am I being unreasonable?

Error Message When Purchasing

I have attempted to change my billing information to my new debit card in order to make purchases. I have tried using 2 different new cards and keep getting this error message: MZCommerce.buycontentdisallowedForaccountfromfraudscoringTxn_explanation. Any ideas what's going on?

Same issue here, for over two weeks now. Sent an email to iTunes customer support, all I got was that the CS rep requested assistance with my issue and to please be patient. That was two days ago and haven't heard anything further. It frustrates me to no end that there is phone support for (seemingly) every other apple product besides iTunes. Can anyone shed some light on why that may be?
