Error #3194 I get this error when updating ios5!
I have no idea why this happens! please help me fix it, all this updating to ios5 is really turning into a pain in the butt! help!

I did put my iPod into DFU and iTunes recognized it in restore mode. After restore I am back where I was before - iTunes cannot connect because of an unknown error.
I have installed Jailbreak to see if I can bypass itunes but haven't succeeded. I can't get my computer to recopgnize the iPod as a device.
I'll take it to a Genius bar next time I am in the area of one. Until then I'll probably continue to try hacks to get it connected.

help me pleaseMake sure iTunes is allowed by windows firewall to access the internet. Disable any 3rd party security software. Some types have to be uninstalled. Double check and make sure younare able to sign in to and browse the iTunes store on your computer

Hi, first I Reset to Original Settings, then Rebooted iPhone, Restarted Main Computer, I used a different connection lead (not really needed) ..then Re Updated..all went Ok..

There are many people suffering from this problem right now (including me). It appears to be a server issue. Just wait and try checking for updates again tomorrow.
Some things I have heard indicate that this may be a regional problem, though what parts of the world are affected I don't know yet. A few people have been helped by deleting the following preference file (paste the path into the Go -> Go to Folder window in the Finder to locate it), though most have not:

Do you mean trying to purchase an iPhoto book? Try rebooting and ordering again. If that fails Boot into Safe Mode, Mac OS X: Starting up in Safe Mode, and try ordering from there.

Did you copy the songs directly from a CD or did you download the files from a website?
You can use a different player than the Windows Media Player to play the songs if you copied them from a CD to avoid that. -
