Error -3259, every time trying to download new iOS onto iPad/iPhone

Hi all, the above problem is happening on all PC's we have tried with on our network.
I know this is a common problem and I have tried all of the following previously suggested solutions.
turning off windows firewall
downloading and installing latest version of iTunes 
The only thing I can think all the PC's have in common is the AV software but I have had the software & applications manager check nothing remotley iTunes related is being blocked.
Is it possible a windows update or service pack could be causing the issue?
still doesn't work, and I have run out of ideas can anyone give me anymore advice on what is causing the problem?

Sorry, yes iTunes on your computer.
When I updated my iPad 3 and iPod Touch 4th generation to iOS 6 a few months back, I was able to update the iPad effortlessly over WiFi. but I kept getting error messages when trying to update the iPod over WiFi, so I used iTunes on my MacBook Pro.
Connect the iPad to the computer, launch iTunes. Select the iPad under the devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update
If you are using iTunes 11, go to View>Show Sidebar at the top - so the sidebar is visible.

    You are only as young as you feel......
    This is an example of how you can select the exact content that you want to sync to your device. You do not have to sync the entire iTunes library. You can pick and choose the music, apps, books and so on that you want to sync. This is using music as an example.
    Connect the iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.
    Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
    Click on the Music Tab on the right.
    Click on only the albums or playlists that you want to sync.
    Click on the Sync Music Heading.
    Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes
    You can do this with apps, books, movies .... Whatever .... You have the freedom to sync whatever you want.

    It sounds like you are unable to download the iOS 8.0.2 update either, over the air, or using iTunes. If you are updating the software on your phone in Settings > General > software update I would recommend starting with this article:
    Resolve issues with an over-the-air iOS update
    If you are using iTunes, I would use this article instead:
    Resolve iOS update and restore errors in iTunes
    If you are getting a specific error number, the following article will help you get that resolved:

    If this does not resolve the issue, could you please write the error message you are getting word for word for me?

  • Recieved an error message -50 when trying to download 5.0 to my iphone

    I went to download the new ios 5.0.1 and after tring to process the "back up" on my phone an error message popped up saying error (-50) it couldn't process  the "back up" correctly and that I would lose all the content on my phone if i continued.

    Thanks all for trying to help. I decided last night to do a restore of the phone since I was unable to get it pass the error -50. I even followed the steps that were given to me on the apple site for this error. Thankfully the restore went through and all is well. I hope I never have this kind of a problem again with an iphone. Very frustrating.

    save your itunes media folder
    remove itunes
    install the new version of itunes and replace your itunes media folder

  • Unable to download new apps on iPad, iPhone, and in iTunes

    I download LOTS of apps and they are all still working fine. Last weekend I tried to download a few new apps and they wouldn't download. (This also happens with updates.) On my iPad they would load 3/4 of the way and start over...and over again. On my computer they would download to the end and start over several times and the fourth time, they would restart. "File corrupted .err=1000000" came up and then the message "To redownload the file, choose check for downloads". It's the same story on the iPhone as the iPad. Also, when I am on the computer in iTunes and I try to delete the apps that won't download, I highlight them and hit delete, they go, only to have them return again...so, I can't eliminate them.

    For your MB, go under the Apple Menu and select 'Software Update'.
    For your iOS device, using iTunes and with the device connected, click the 'Check for Updates' button on your main 'Summary' page.
    That should update your MB to 10.6.5 and your iOS devices to 4.2.1. That's assuming you have devices that can handle the latest versions of the software. Some older iOS devices can't upgrade and are stuck at lower software versions.

    you install apps to an iphone by
    connecting the iphone to your computer and starting up itunes
    clicking on the iphone under devices
    clicking on apps tab
    checking on the app in the list of apps
    thats the only way to install apps to your iphone anything else you attempt will fail
    because thats not how you install apps

    Have you disabled any firewall and security/antivirus programs?  This seems to have helped the vast majority of people who have posted the same problem in this forum.

    Hi, I'd like to inform you that the error code 0xE0000235 refers to "Error in WOW64". This can be caused by corrupted or incompatible driver of the Video Capture Card. Similar issue may also occur on other driver on other operating system and I don't think
    this can be caused by SBS2008 blocking the driver.
    I suggest you contact with GeoVision Technical Support (http://www.geovision.com.tw/english/4_0.asp) and see if their driver should work on SBS2008 and make sure that you have downloaded
    latest driver from their site:

    Before beginning the download, try temporarily disabling the antivirus, anti-adware, anti-spyware, and any other anti-whatever that is required and is running with that secure OS.

    Welcome to the forums.
    Looks like that error message does refer to encoding (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1645) but a problem could be that your video has to be reloaded into iDVD if you started the encoding process and then switched settings.  You could start a new iDVD project, or try deleting encoded assets.
    Let's start from the beginning -- what length of video are you trying to fit on the DVD? (this will indicate what encoding options you have).  Double layer DVDs can be finicky and are used for video more than 2 hrs long.
    Use good quality media -- Verbatim is often recommended around here, and I've used Sony DVD-R with good results.

    The most common causes are:
    Your antivirus, firewall or router security is blocking access to Apple's servers - try temporarily disabling them - if you have Kaspersky this is definitely the problem
    At some time in the past you used this computer to jailbreak, unlock or otherwise hack ANY iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad - if this applies to you your hosts file is corrupt and you will have to edit it and remove any lines that contain "gs.apple.com"
