Error -3259 ; I can't download songs

I purchased a CD off of iTunes, but everytime it goes to download the songs I get the message "Error -3259 and it says my network connection has been timed out. However, about 4 of the 20 songs HAVE downloaded. I have tried restarting iTunes but I continue to get the error message. I've downloaded the most recent iTunes system for my Windows Vista computer and it still doesn't work. Any suggestions?

I am having the same error code and am unable to download purchased music. I've searched and searched for answers but so far have not found anything helpful

I called Apple support and they brushed me off on this issue which I have seen on MacWorld. I can't download my purchases via either Itouch, Itunes for Mac or Itunes for Windows. AND then I get a message that I need to verify my credit card and I get a message that it was decline. Yet in Purchase history it shows. And earlier I used same card to purchase ILife.
Bank says card is OK.
Made other purchases.....
So, Apple what gives?

Piecing together what little that Apple has shared with some complaining customers, it seems that they have instituted some new security measures that have locked many people out of their accounts and, with a few exceptions, Apple seems unable to reset the accounts. In many cases they are trying to blame the credit card company. They have told me in several responses to support emails that the problem is with my credit card. I have checked with my credit card company and they have received the verification request from Apple and have authorized it -- over 30 times!!!! There are no blocks or flags on my credit card account.
I have tried three other credit cards and get the same error message.
I have even tried selecting the 'none' option under payment information in my iTunes account and I still get the same error message -- the problem cannot be with a credit card if I specify 'none'...
It would be helpful if anyone can offer any advice to resolve the issue, but I am also hoping that someone from Macworld may read this, do some investigating and start giving this issue some 'public domain' visibility. The end goal being to get Apple to take some ownership of the issue. "

Go try another online music download retailer, such as Amazon.com.
You can buy MP3s from any source, and add them to your iTunes library. If one store is too much trouble, try another.

Sorry, but music tracks and other media contact are not available in Israel via an iTunes Store at this time. None of us here can say when Apple will be able to obtain the necessary licenses and feel it worthwhile to set up an iTunes Store for your country.

ITunes 10.5 won't connect to store, can't download songs on IPhone 4

I have an IPhone 4 and tried to download some songs from ITunes on my phone. I received a message that I can't download songs unless I upgrade the iOS. Went to upgrade and received message I had to upgrade to ITunes 10.5. Did this, however now I can't connect to the store. I receive a message stating that the network cannot connect and to check my settings. I have followed everything on here, uninstalled, reinstalled, Microsoft Fixit, run as administrator, firewalls, proxy server, even removed my antivirus, nothing works. Very frustrated and not sure what else to try???

One correction, from the icloud I was not able to listed to the entire song. So when you purchased the song if it wasn't downloaded to your library, chances are you have lost your opportunity to listen to it.

You are right to be concerned, since many sites that purport to be sources of free MP3s are just scams and will download crap. However, if you stick to legitimate music download retailers and/or legitimate sources of free tracks, you will not have a problem.

Many thanks Illaass for your help. Everyhing was perfect till I selected "iMovie" in the list of Apps on the left and NOTHING (no file) appeared in the box on the right.
I can watch the whole movie in my iPod (from inside the application) perfectly, and in fact is the only file I made with that app.
I already have it in my "Camera Roll", too. And I can watch it perfectly from there, too.
Another thing that perhaps you must know is that I tried to "export" it from the app, and a pop up said "Unable to Export - This project contains video clips which have been deleted from your photo library."
Pleeease help me! I need to get that video out of my iPod!

No, sorry, there is no "grace period". Under normal circumstances, you get only one download per purchase. But you can contact the iTunes Store customer service department through the form linked from their web page and explain your situation. They may be willing to grant an exception.

Unless you have an Internet connection you cannot access iCloud. You can download your music from iCloud to store permanently on your iPhone, but only when you have an Internet connection to do so.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
To begin with, I would like to try to explain Apple's confusing nomenclature in regard to iCloud.
Apple have called the whole cloud thing iCloud, there are a number of features under the iCloud umbrella, some of which require their own login. iTunes is one of these, another is what Apple have unfortunately also called iCloud too.
You can use the same Apple ID (account) to login to both iCloud and iTunes, but you don't need to and often users will login to each service using a different ID.
The part that you need to remember is that the services available when you log into iCloud are completely different and unrelated to those when you log in to iTunes. Your iCloud login enables mail, contacts, calendars, find my phone, Back to My Mac, Documents & Data sharing and photostream, it does not affect any of your iTunes services.
To avoid confusion when discussing your problem, when I mention iCloud, I am referring to the services under the iCloud login, Whereas I will refer to the whole cloud thing as The Cloud.
Whilst you want seperate accounts, I assume this is to keep your contacts etc seperate, you can still both use the same iTunes account, which will allow you to share your music etc.

I'm trying to dual boot Lion and Wind 7 on different HD but when I ran the bootcamp assistance for software update I get an error that it can't download from the server.
I also try without downloading the software and do the installation but it fail. It seem that this bootcamp is giving problem so I revert back to SN leopard and it does the same. Why can't the bootcamp assistance update the software, is it something that I did wrong or my system is not supporting dual booting.

MacPro1,1 has EFI32 and does not support Windows 7 very well, can't boot 64-bit, can't use all your RAM.
There have always been trouble and issues, ways around those, but a big PITA too.

Nothing to do with Lion actually. Other than downloading drivers from Apple servers has been mostly hit or miss, with miss being 90%.
I have rebuned the DVD (make a new ISO image using Imgburn etc) but now I just install Windows on PC then move the drive to the Mac. A lot easier.
Without 64-bit you can't use more than 1.9GB RAM. And you need Windows 7 Pro to use both processors.

Different account or different computer? It is two completely seperate things.
While it is possible to have media on the device from multiple accounts it is not possible to sync with multiple computers.
