Error 400 Disconnected

I have tried several times to view the Apple Special Event by Steve Jobs at the following website:
http://events.apple.com.edgesuite.net/sep_2006/event/index.html
Every time I click on the "Watch the Special Event" button QuickTime starts to load. I get a separate window with the QuickTime player but I just have a big Q on the screen. I push play but in the status area the number "400" scrolls up followed by the words "Disconnected" followed again by "400".
The file is called m2sept_2006-650rev.mov
How do I get "connected" so I can see the video?
Note: I downloaded the latest version of QuickTime 7.1.3 to see if that helps but the problem persists.

  • Error 400 quicktime

I been trying to use the audio on ichat and i am getting an bandwith error(not enough bandwith error) Also I try to play the Apple Streaming video and I am getting a Quicktime disconnect 40 error. Is there any connection? and what do I do to fix this problem?

It then says in the window near the bottom "Connecting" "Waiting for media" with a time, and then "Switching Transports" (This may be wrong, it goes by very fast), then with a time of 00:00:00, stops with Web Acceleration Client Error (400.3).
After a few Google searches for "Web Acceleration Client Error" and "Web Acceleration" DirecTV I get the impression that Web Acceleration is a service that DirecTV and other satellite and DSL companies provide to their customers to ... well, accelerate web access. And from the error you're getting, it looks like this is the source of the problem, not Safari or QuickTime themselves.
Considering that the keynote would have had very high-demand today, there's a chance this was just a temporary glitch, in combination with DirecTV's Web Acceleration. Or it could be that Web Acceleration doesn't play nicely with streamed QuickTime content or that particular stream....

  • Error 400 when attempting to sign in . . .

    to Photoshop.com
(Photoshop.com services are currently unavailable.  Please try laer or check your network connections.  Error 400)
I checked to be sure I had internet connection and that there was no firewall blockage - what else should I do (keep it simple, please!).
I 'tried again' several times over a period of time - no change.
Also, haven't been able to find a phone number for support - any help here?
Thanks for any help you can offer!

You might want to cross post this in the photoshop.com forum, too:

The photoshop.com employees keep a fairly close eye on that forum, so hopefully you'll find someone there who knows what the problem is.

  • I click on a link inside an email and it won't open so I can print the coupon, response is http error 400 or I have it blocked. Others in my area aren't having any problems with the same link opening but they are using IE. What's up with Firefox?

gohollywood.com, register, message came back from Hollywood Insider with a link to click on to "Download Coupon". Click on link and you should get the coupon and you print it out. All my friends have done it but I can't. I get various error messages including : "HTTP error 400 - the request is badly formed".... or you have a blocker set.....
Unless it is a Gmail/Firefox blocker or firewall, I don't have anything set up as a blocker on my email. Had a few friends go in my account on their computers and they had the same thing happen. However when they go in under their names they get to the link with no problems. HELP.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]] and [[Troubleshooting plugins]]
If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

  • Error while configuring GCM: The push settings were not saved. Error 400

    Hi,
While configuring push settings for google cloud messaging in azure mobile services, i entered the server key received from google developer console.
When i try to save the entry, i get the message The push settings were not saved <mobile-serversices-site>: Error 400
I have regenerated the key multiple times but of no use.
Am I missing something? I am a paid subscriber of Azure
    Thanks, Laks.

Sorry for the late reply. Sometimes there are transient errors in the portal that affect whether or not the settings can be saved. Also, you should make sure that you have an associated notification hub (which will show up in your push settings). If there
is no associated hub, you will always get errors when trying to configure.

  • Error message is 'The Request Error : 400' with SAP Download Manager

    Hello,
The authorization object SWDOWNLOAD (download software) is assigned to the My user ID.
But I could not download below that file.
    SAP_ABA 710 (4~8)
    SAP_BASIS 710 (4~8)
    PI_BASIS 2006_1_710 (4~8)
    SAP_BW 710 (4~8)
Error message is 'The Request Error : 400' with SAP Download Manager
I logged on to SAP Service Marketplace, software download area /swdc.
I have created objects in the download basket and have received approvals (->Maintenance-Optimizer) where required.
I start the SAP Download Manager and the objects from the download basket are visible in the object list of the program window.
After I choose "Objects for Download", the system starts the download.
In the info-line (in the lower part of the window), the system displays the message 'Processing object...' and then 'The request failed: 400'.

    Hello,
In these cases the following things should be checked:
1.- Please be sure that you are using the latest Donwload Manager version
2.- S-User and password should be active
3.- Specify the proxy. Please refer to SAP Note 155954
4.- It might be that you are not licensed for the product you want to download.
If the checkings above are correct and the problem is still alive, I would recommend you to open an SAP customer message under component XX-SER-SAPSMP-SDM providing the following information:
1.- The exactly software product name and package or stack number you try to download.
2.- Attach to the message the results of the trace file generated as per note 574885:
574885 - Download Manager: Generate trace file for analysis
    I hope this helps you.
    Regards,
    Blanca

  • PSE 7 log in error 400.

I am not able to sign into my photoshop account from the photoshop elements 7 home screen. I keep my photos on 2 seperate computers and I need them to remain in sync with each other. I am able to sign on to my account on one computer without any problems but on my second computer I am getting an error that says photoshop.com services are currently unavailable. Check your network settings or try to log on at a later time. Error 400. It had been working on both computers without any problems until recently and I don't think that I have changed any settins on my computer.
Has this happened to anyone else? How do you fix this? Please help!

That did not work. I went to the organizer / help / updates... and got a
message that says. The update server is not responding, which means it might
be offline at the moment, or the Internet or firewall settings may be
    incorrect. Please try again later.
I tried going to product updates under photoshop elements for windows. Under
    version 7.0, I clicked on Adobe photoshop elements 7.0.3 update 4/27/2010. I
went through that and it said that the product had been successfully
updated. I tried logging on again after restarting my computer but i
continue to get the same error.
I can't log into my account. Is there anything else you can suggest?

  • On Firefox 3.6.x on Mac and Windows, Google Analytics tracking code leads to an Error 400 page

Our business sent out an email campaign that has several links containing Google Analytics tracking code in the URL.
In the tracking code, which is automatically generated via the email campaign software, is an em-dash. The URLs works in every browser (Google Chrome, Safari, Windows) and in older versions of FireFox. They do not work in 3.6.x versions of FireFox in both Mac and Windows.
As a result, when customers click on a link in the email, they get a page that says "HTTP Error 400 - request is badly formed" because FireFox interprets the em-dash as garbage.
Once this error occurs none of the pages in the site can be accessed unless a specific cookie is removed.
Seeing how many people do not know how to clear cookies - it is especially cryptic in the Windows version of FF 3.6.10 - what are the chances that there will be a release of Firefox to remedy this problem? And is there anything else that could be done?

Weird. We are having this same problem as well. Ours happens in Chrome as well. What I have figured out is -at least for us - is its somethign to do with the Google Analytics tracking cookie on our site. If I go to cookies and then delete the _umtz cookie, the site will load fine. In the time being I have set "pageTracker._setCampaignTrack(false); " in our tracking code to keep the script from dropping the cookie in users browsers.

  • I cannot log in to my PSE 10. I get an error 400 message.

One day my photoshop was working and the next it wasn't. I get a message saying that photoshop is unable to connect. Something about an error 400. Anyone know how to fix this? Mahalo!

Thank you so much for your link. I tried everything & was unable to complete any of the steps. Step 1: I opened Organizer’s preferences>Backup/Sync & nothing loaded within this page for me to disable. There wasn't a System Tray/Notifications at the top of my screen to attempt that solution either (I am using a Mac). Step 2: When I open my Organizer I cannot find the option for Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 Editor->Support Files. I searched every where. I tried opening a picture & clicking the full edit button but it only attempt to open the Editor page & quit. Step 3: I tried clicking the sharing symbol & nothing happened. Do you have any suggestions? Am I missing something?
I just don't understand how Adobe can just leave all their thousands of users high & dry like this. I have no clue what to do. My photoshop program is working fine on my laptop but the laptop is running very slow so I can't really use the program on there. Do you know what else I can try?
Thank you so so much for your help! I truly appreciate it.

  • Error 400 when attempting to update Apps

Hi there. I have been getting an unknown error 400 whenever I try to update my apps. I can't find any information online about how to fix this. Does anybody have any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Cian

    Try this.
Sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try to update again.
If you are not using iOS 6 go to Settings>Store>Apple ID.

  • I cannot open my photoshop elements 10. I get an error 400.

I cannot open my photoshop elements 10 to edit pictures. I get a message saying that it cannot connect, error 400. I was using it last week no problem than I shut down my computer & tried to open photoshop the next day & the program wouldn't open. I've heard that this is the result of photoshop.com no longer existing. What can I do about this? There has to be a way that I can still edit my pictures. I've tried opening some .psd docs but they won't open. I tried chatting with adobe tech support & they said that they cannot help me because this is an older PSE program. Anyone know any way around this? Mahalo nui loa!
On a side note: I can't figure out how to respond when someone comments on my forum questions. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I'm obviously not very tech savvy.

I responded in your other thread. To reply to a post click the Reply button at its lower right to open up a place where you can type:

Photoshop.com is no longer available. The service transferred to Revel.
    Ignore the sign-in altogether.
You may need to turn off Sync in Organizer prefs if you have it activated.
