  • Get error 403 when trying to download from MAS

    Hi!
When I'm trying to download any program from MAS, I get 403 error. The same with update.
App Store for iOS works fine.
    I tried:
    - reboot
    - reinstall MAS
    - different account
    - hide with tor
    - change password
    - change language
Using 10.6.6 with all updates. MBA late 2010. Location – Indonesia, tried with USA and Russian accounts.

    Hi,
App Store for iOS works fine.
That's the App store on iTunes for iOS devices. The Mac App Store is for the Mac OS X running Snow Leopard v10.6. It can be confusing at times.
Try installing the v10.6.6 combo update here.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1349
Then repair permissions. Launch Disk Utility. (Applications/Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab. Click: Repair Disk Permissions. When it's finished from the Menu Bar, Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac. If you see a long list of "messages" in the permissions window, it's ok. As long as you see, "Permissions Repair Complete" when it's finished... you're done.
If you see any warnings re: SUID messages, they can be safely ignored, information here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1448?viewlocale=en_US

    Restart your Mac.

  • Apple Software Update - Error occures while trying to download

I've been trying all different ways to install the latest version of itunes.
I've tried downloading manually and installing but the installer doesn't launch.
So i've tried to do it using the Apple Software Update, but everytime it comes up with:
'Errors occured while installing updates. If the problem persists, choose tools > download only and try installing manually!
    I'm out of options!
    Any help?

At least we have some sort of error message from iTunes setup, unfortunately I don't know what it means.
You are logged on as an adminstator are't you, I didn't ask before. Do you have another account you could try installing from?
There are a couple of other things I would like you to try.
Empty Your Windows Temp directory. The following article tells you how towards the bottom of the page under: *Empty your Temp directory and restart*
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1926
Does that allow the install to go through?
It would be intersting to see if the stand alone QUicktime installer works on your system, I still wonder if you have a more general problem with isntalls.
You can download from the following apge, you want the version WITHOUT iTunes.

  • Mzcommerce.jmssenderror_message and error 11111 while trying to download a app.(Minecraft PE)

So I tried to download a app, minecraft PE, and it said mzcommerce.jmssenderror_message. I then tried to download it on computer and error 11111 came up.This happened after i tried to update minecraft to 0.5.0,and it repeatedly failed, so i uninstalled it and tried to reinstall..Any help?

Add one more disgruntled user to the list.  First noticed that I couldn't download upgrades on my iPhone.  It would prompt for password as normal, would briefly show "waiting" on the app icon and then just stops with app store still showing update.  True deleting the app and installing from iTunes.  This worked, but iTunes library had old version of app so it still showed an upgrade.  I then deleted the app from the phone and iTunes and that is when I started getting the 11111 error.  I've since discovered that I can download any new content to any of my linked iDevices, but cannot download any type of previously purchased content.  No previously purchased music not on device, no previously purchased uninstalled apps, no installed app upgrades, etc.  ALL show up in purchased content lists, but when you attemp to download it appears to be starting and then simply fails with no errors on the iDevice(s).  I've also tried signing out of my account in settings - store, performing a hard reset and then signing back in, but alas, no success.
C'mon Apple, obviously a problem that is happening to numerous users and it started happening to us all at the exact same time.  You got us iAddicted, now give us our iFix.

    Thank you!

Theoutsider is So right! I was at my witts end trying to figure out how to fix this. I tried Every troubleshooting options I could find on the internet. (updated drivers, changed the hosts (many times in fact) removed antivirus, checked fire wall, stopped fire wall, messed with the hosts some more (copy & paste it to the desktop) downloaded tinyumbrella, put the phone in DFU mode, watched many youtube videos, LOL and I'm sure I'm missing a few other steps i took too.. ) It was something as simple as making sure I was logged in under the right itunes account :| So glad I didn't pay apple the $69 they wanted to tell me I'm a dumb@ss.... Thanks for the tip theoutsider!! You just saved me! Wish I would have ran across your suggestion a day or two ago...

  • Error message while trying to download Itunes for Windows Vista.plz help!

I've been trying to install itunes 9 on windows vista system. During the install, it says "error occurred during installation of assembly policy 8.0.microsoft.vc80.CRT, version 8.0.50727.403 type win 32 policy public key token=1fc8b3b901e18e3bprocess architecture=x86 Quicktime installs OK, but Itunes install is interruped -- Apple Support install portion is rolled back after this error pops up. I went thru suggested Apple troubleshooting options, got same error. Ran install as administrator from desktop, also did not work. Tried installing both thru apple software updater and directly from Apple website -- still get error. I am also having trouble downloading new updates for my computer, has anyoone exp this?? I am so frustrated, I have a new nano and can't use it

    Interesting.
Okay, let's try some general principles troubleshooting with this one, then.
    (1) Do you currently have a copy of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable Package installed on that PC? If so, try downloading the following security update:
[Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package ATL Security Update|http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=766a6af7-ec73-4 0ff-b072-9112bab119c2&displaylang=en#filelist]
Does iTunes install for you after applying that update?
    (2) If no joy there, head into your Windows Update and click on the Update History. Have a lot of Updates also been failing for you recently? If so, doubleclick on the entries for the failed updates to bring up more information on each. What error codes appear for you for the failed updates? (Precise spelling, please.)

  • TS3297 I get error -50 while trying to download a HD movie rental on PC Windows 7 Professional

While watching and simultaneously downloading a HD movie rental on my PC, it suddenly stopped and the error message -50 appeared in iTunes. I tried restarting the download, rebooting the PC, and then eliminating the download and starting it again by having iTunes Store look for available downloads, but the same error appeared.
Anyone know how to fix this so my 9 year old daughter can finish watching the original Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory?

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not downloading properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

  • I keep getting an error message while trying to download the blackberry app world on my blackberry 9900

Error: Invalid manifest or application descriptor.
    The "MIDlet-Name" attribute is missing.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!!
    Please try this sequence:
    1) Remove AppWorld from your BB
KB10040 How to view or remove installed applications on a BlackBerry smartphone
If it requests that you reboot the BB, do so
    2) Do a Batt-Pull reboot (power on, remove battery, wait, insert battery, wait), even if redundant to the one you did in step 1.
    3) Install (on your BB) a fresh copy of AppWorld
    http://blackberry.com/appworld/download
Again, if it requests to reboot, do so.
    4) Do another Batt-Pull reboot
    5) See if it now works.
    Cheers!

  • Error messages while trying to download iTunes 8.1.1 update

I keep getting the following message while downloading the iTunes software update:
    'Error NSURLErrorDomain -1005 (-1005)'
It happens just after the 'expanding and verifying' stage. I'm using T-Mobile's 'mobile broadband usb stick 110'. I only got the usb broadband yesterday but I've already downloaded music and videos (from iTunes and other sites) and the Safari and Security updates with no problems so I don't think that's the problem.
Any help would be much appreciated!

  • Error 2203 while trying to download itunes on PC

    Hi,
For some reasons I do not know about, my itunes was not working anymore. I uninstalled it from my dell XPS and now that I am trying to reinstall it it gives me the 2203 error message many times during the "status" process.
I don't know what to do! Can anyone help?
    Thanks,
    Nina

You can try downloading 7-Zip (free), or a free trial of WinRAR, and unpack the iTunesSetup.exe or iTunesSetup64.exe file into its components then try installing them individually in alphabetical order (don't try to install SetupAdmin.exe or iCloud.msi). You may get a more useful error message as to which component has problems.

  • Error E_ADEPT_DISTRIBUTOR_AUTH while trying to download a book in ADE

    Hi,
we have a test environment with a ACS4 Server and a publishing server developed by us.
the acsm file ist generated by our own publishing server and all works fine in all test environments, except in one test system, i receive an E_ADEPT_DISTRIBUTOR_AUTH error message in ADE (Adobe Digital Editions) when i open the acsm file in ADE. The message appears also in the fulfillment.log of the ACS4 server log.
the books are correctly uploaded to the ACS4 server, all statuschecks in ACS4 (packaging, fulfillment, admin) are ok. there are no errors while uploading the files. i can see the file in the inventory of <Server>/admin/console/#.
I can also correctly call the inventory with the QueryTool.jar, so the authorization of the distributor seems to be correct:
    java -jar QueryTool-1_2.jar http://<Server>/admin/QueryResourceItems -d urn:uuid:<DistributoirId> -p64 <DistributorSharedSecret>
the configuration of this test swystem is equivalent to the other test systems and seems to be ok.
    Can anyone help?
    Thanks,
    Tim

Are you sure you are signing the URL/.acsm file correctly for those particular books?
