In Chrome, I get the following error when trying to access the downloads page:

After two days waiting to get my educational eligibility verified this is extremely frustrating. Adobe, fix your internal server errors immediately please. I paid for your product and I cannot even get it, this is no way to treat customers. I am a student and need to use these products NOW.

What product? For most products you can simply download the trial and activate it with the serial. For anything else you will have to contact support directly.

  • Error (-50) when attempting to download purchased music

I'm getting an error (-50) when trying to download music puchased on iTunes store. The firewall settings are ok. The internet connection is wrking on other applications.

I am having the SAME PROBLEM and it's driving me NUTS! I couldn't find an answer here so I emailed iTunes support. Here is what they said:
The error you describe may be caused by the presence of web
acceleration or firewall software. While the iTunes Store is unable to provide
technical support, I can recommend that you either test your connection to
the iTunes Store without the presence of this software or configure
your system to allow access to the iTunes Store's address.
However, I'm not sure that is my problem because my computer is new, (I have a macbook), I haven't downloaded any kind of software other than software updates from apple, I use safari, and my roommate has no problem d-loading onto her computer. Also, the album I purchased comes with an interactive booklet and that downloads without a problem. So, I don't know. I just emailed them again and I'll respond to this thread if I get a solution. Otherwise, please let me know if you figure it out!

  • Error -34 when attempting to download purchased video

    Has anyone else noticed this?
When I use iTunes with a library stored on an afp network drive (hold down Option key while launching), I can not download "purchased" videos. I can buy them just fine, but when they start downloading they immediately stop with an Error #-34: "The disk you are attempting to use if full".
Of course this is not the case, the disk has over 170GB free! If I quit and launch using a "local" library I can then download and import the video into the network library afterwards. Music and podcasts (even video ones) don't have a problem downloading, and I've even been successful with some of the free "Short" movies. So it seems to be a file size issue.
Is anyone having success with this? Any ideas?

I don't have an answer for you, but I am having the same issue.

    What computer operating system?
And, where is the music coming from, iTunes? If so, that is a known problem with Premiere Elements (just about any version).
The answer has been to convert the iTunes music to the wav version in iTunes.

  • I am getting an error -69 when trying to download purchased movie

I am getting an error -69 when trying to download purchased movie

    A -69 suggests a damaged movie file.
Just in case (even though it's for different error message numbers), perhaps try the "Error -50," "-5000," "8003," "8008," or "-42023" section in the Specific Conditions and Alert Messages: (Mac OS X / Windows) section of the following document:

have removed my pop-up blocker completely and still receive the following error message when attempting to download iTunes:  "The file was blocked because it does not have a valid digital signature that verifies its publisher".....any ideas?

That suggests that the installer is getting damaged during the download.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer?

  • Error message when attempting to download software or restore

receiving error message "the connection could not be established when trying to download latest software"
Also cannot restore device. Followed all instructions on support website and still not working. Help !!!!!

This has solved loads of people who have this issue and have used an alternate DNS setting.  Below are instructions for both iPhone OTA and on you Mac
If you are getting the error message "Unable to check for update" when you try an OTA (over the air update)
    Change DNS Servers
    Settings -> Wi-Fi
Click the blue arrow on your connected network
Delete everything in DNS and replace it with 208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220
    Try again
If this works, you will probably want to remove the WiFi network using "Forget This Network" and then reconnect to it to get your original DNS servers back. Alternatively, make a note of the original DNS servers before deleting them and replace it after you are done.
If you are getting the error message "Unable to check for update" when you try through iTunes
    On your Mac
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, and then click Network.
Select the network connection service you want to use (such as Wi-Fi or Ethernet, unless you named it something else) from the list, and then click Advanced.
Click DNS, and then click Add at the bottom of the DNS Servers list. Enter the IPv4 address for the DNS server.
    You can use OpenDNS
    208.67.222.222
    208.67.220.220
    or
You can Google Public DNS if you want
    8.8.8.8
    8.8.4.4
I have actually repointed my routers DNS so all my devices now point to OpenDNS servers

  • Error message when trying to download purchased songs

I purchased some albums on my ipad that synced to my iphone. I'm now trying to download my purchases to my library stored on my PC, but I'm getting an error/warning message along the lines of:
"You can download past purchases for up to 90 days.....You cannot assign another apple id to this computer for the next 30 days".
Does anyone have any ideas? I did have to sign my wife out of itunes before i signed in to download my songs so i assuming its something to do with that.

When trying to download purchased songs on ITunes, it
gives an error message that the network connection
timed out. also gives this error message when I try
to download ITunes software. Can anyone help with
    this error? Thanks
I am having the same problem. (err = -3259) and it's not listed in any of the error codes in Apple Support. Weird. Why have an error code and no reference for it.
First it happened when I tried to download a movie and I kept "checking for purchases" - didn't work - checked all my ad filters, privacy filters, firewall settings - didn't work. Then I forgot for a day, went back and it worked. Now I have three episodes of a TV show that will not download and I am getting the same error message. This time it has been a few days though...Someone who knows - Please HELP!!

  • Itunes error (-609) when attempting to download artwork

I'm receiving the following message when attempting to download album artwork:
Artwork for XXXXXX could not be found. An unknown error occurred (-609)
MY first thought was that it was due to the artwork being unavailable, but i deleted the artwork for an album which i had previously downloaded. When i tried to re-download the artword, same problem. I can download track information, though.
This has occurred since updating to itunes 8.0.1.11
using 64 bit Vista. Never had this problem before...

I installed V8.2.0.23 created a new library. Added one album. Clicked on Get Album Artwork. Got unknown error (-609). Spent hours trauling the web to find a solution. Logging into iTunes store and signing out and restarting iTunes and the PC did NOT fix the problem.
Then I installed V6.2.1.6 only to find I still get the same problem.
Interestingly, if I run the diagnostics from the Help menu it tells me Internet Connection Failed. (which is bollox - because I have been browsing the web for hours to try and find a solution) But I wonder if it is linked.
I can't beleive how naff iTunes is.
Does anyone have a solution that actually works?

  • ITunes crashes when attempting to download purchases. Solutions?

Ever since I installed iTunes on my current Windows 7 computer, I've had a persistent issue involving the program crashing when I attempt to download purchased items. I hav etried re-installing iTunes multiple time, but it has done nothing.
Is there a solution available that I am not aware of?

I just tonight restarted and logged into my Mac after this upgrade being applied. I discover that I am completely unable to play back song samples in the iTunes store. The first time I double-clicked an item, I got the immediate gray-screen "You must restart now." After restarting, I tried again, and this time it didn't even crash gracefully...the top third of my screen display has been overlaid with Linux-level white-on-black text, explaining the Darwin kernel's inability to cope with whatever the f*&k just happened. "Frame not mapped or invalid" was the gist of the message.
Good thing I have my Windows machine here to login and complain...

  • I get the following error message when attempting to download a TV show

I get the following message when I attempt to download my last TV show purchase. "There was an unknown error downloading your purchased music. An unknown error accurred (0xFFFE7958)." I have succesfully downloaded videos before but am unable to download this one. I have iTunes v6.0.2.23 and have already tried re-installing iTunes and Quicktime.

There are several threads about the 0xFFFE7958 error. So far there is no answer for the problem. I have contacted iTunes support twice about the problem and other than "we will get back to you..." I have received no support. The best part is that they charged me for this. How about a refund or something?
