Error 4500

Hi all,
This is my first post and I hope someone can give me some help.
When burning a playlist a unknown error message appears. The error reference is 4500. I did a diagnosis report which is as follows:-

Any help would be appreciated??

is there any special reason why you don't have Service Pack 2 installed, dan?
if not, perhaps try installing that ... i believe it's now also required for additional XP security updates, so head to Windows Update to check for any additional updates you might be behind on.

Could you post your diagnostics for us please?
In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:
... and click "Next".
When you get through to the final screen:
... click the "Copy to Clipboard" button and paste the diagnostics into a reply here.

Error 4000 when burning to CD also computer freezes

Hope someone can help. Was unable to burn to CD after installing Version 6 of iTunes "Unknown error 4500". Hoped upgrading to this latest version 7 would resolve it. I'm able to burn to CD using RealPlayer.

okay. i was looking for a drivers download page for your particular model at ShuttleX (to see, for example, if there was new firmware available for your drives).
but the area in the iTunes diagnostics that usually shows up model information:

... wasn't saying which model of ShuttleX you had. (that looks more like info about your make of motherboard.)
i got this far at the ShuttleX support site looking for info on what you had:

Can no longer Burn purchased or private files since upgrade to 7.4.1

I've read and ran diagnostics - results below. On purchased music I get error 4500 or 4000. I have read several posts where this has happened, HAS ANYONE had this error resolved and How? I can't live like this!!!
All this since I upgraded!!! Bloody Apple and the constant upgrades and they wonder why I don't buy a tower.

Writing CD text is turned on in the preferences. If you're having problems burning CDs, try turning this preference off.
Force Optical Power Calibration before burn is turned on in the preferences.
The last failed data CD or DVD burn had error code 4450(0x00001162). It happened on drive D: HL-DT-ST RW/DVD GCC-4481B on CDR media at speed 48X.

I had a similar problem. I always used TDK Cd's and suddenly I could not burn CD's. I change the CD type ( same brand ) and all is good again. I used to get error 4000 or 4450 now it is fixed

Buring to a CD

My song from iTunes (purchased or from my CDs) will not burn onto a CD. The blank CDs are fine and burn in windows media player and in other places.

I put a blank CD in then i pick a playlist and put
burn disk, then this error message pops up and says

I am having the same problem except that my error is 4500 for which I can find absolutely no definition for. I purchased 10 songs and have no problem playing them from the itunes software but I want to burn them to a CD. The blank CD starts to burn and after the CD is rendered useless (since it is a CD-R), the burn is cancelled and an error message pops up (error 4500). I have ruined 5 of my 10 CD-R's. Besides wasting $10 for the songs that I had expected to be able to listen to anywhere that I had a player, now I've wasted nearly $10 on some very pricey blank CD-R's. I submitted a request for help to itunes on Saturday night and I have yet to receive a reply.

HP Envy 4500 All in One - Printer Error - not finishing print job / non-specific error code

Help - my new HP ENVY 4500 AIO (less 3 months old) has never completed a print job if it is over 1 page. I'm connected wirelessly, and not sure if there is an interruption in the wireless connection or if this is defect in the printer. I receive a message "Printer Error - HP ENVY cancelling print job" and that's it. It will usually happen when it's on the last page of a small print job or half way thru a large (10+ page) of a print job. Any suggestions? I've downloaded HP Print/Scan Dr - it didn't find any issues.

I had the same issue. Got in contact with HP customer service and the first person that helped had no idea how to fix it. Got in contact with someone else and they found the issue right away. I had it connected through the wrong port.
First find out what the IP address of your printer is. You can do this by pressing the small wifi button on the front of your printer and it will show the IP address.
Then what you'll have to do is go to the start menu of your computer and search for "Devices and Printers".
Click that and a screen will open. Look for your printer an right click.
Click "Printer Properties" and a new screen will open.
Along the top you will see a few tabs. Click the one that says "Ports"
Click "Add Port"
Highlight "Standard TCP/IP Port" by clicking on it, then click "New Port"
A new screen will open.
Click "Next"
Type in the IP Address of your printer and click "Next"
After that your computer should find your printer.
Click finish and you should be all set.

HP ENVY 4500 Printer "Error. Cannot connect to Server"

Hey everybody,
I work in IT and have a client that recently purchased a HP Envy 4500 all-in-one. She called me to install it for her and I got it set up with no problems. After a few days she told me that her printer wouldn't scan. It was giving her this error message;
"Error. Cannot connect to Server. Check Server name and address."
She has this computer connected via USB and I have already reinstalled the driver and ran the HP Print and Scan Doctor with no success. I have tried a lot of other solutions that people have been posting with the same issue but none have worked. This has become a huge issue and I don't see HP trying to find a solution. If no soultion will fix this, then I will be returning this printer for her and getting something that works.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I understand that you are getting a connection error message when trying to use the scan to email feature of your Envy 4500 printer.
To be able to use the scan to email feature the printer must be setup with web services which requires the printer to be connected to your wireless network with an active internet connection. I have included the Getting Started with ePrint document for reference.
If the printer has been setup with a wireless connection, please set a manual IP address and manual DNS server for the printer. I have included a link to another post with the steps, including screen shots, on how to do this. Please don’t worry that the screen shots are for a Photosmart 7510, the steps are the same.

I can’t load the software directly from HP because their only option is to use the software update option on the mac....frustrated!!! Help!!
I get blank pages that just run through the printer and a stats window that just 33% complete and goes no further.

I am going on the guess that an old driver is still installed...
Use Finder Go > go to folder, and go to /Library/Printers and delete the HP folder(s).
Reset the Printing System:
OS X Mavericks: Reset the printing system
Now, Add the printer in Print & Scan prefs.

Hp officejet 4500 alli-in-one g510g printing error

Hello.. i bought before yesterday the HP officejet 4500 Alli-in-one g510g. I did the installation without problems but when i tried to print a document, the printer did nothing and when i tried to open the print queue, i got an error message "Unable to connect from the windows to the printer. The spooler service of the localprinter does not run. Restart the spooler service or restart the computer" and the printer wal lost from the printer and devices area and it's shown only as a scanner. My laptop is the HP Pavilion g6 Notebook PC with windows 7 64-bit. I have made all the windows updates. I downloaded the related drivers from the HP site but during the install progress i got a message that the drivers i 've already installed (from the cd) are newer. I also started the service spool print and i downloaded the diagnostics tool. During diagnosis the program was fixing the problem and i could see the print queue but the printer did nothing again and in the next try for printing i got the same error message as above and the printer was nowhere in the printers and devices area. I installed the printer in an other laptop and it worked fine. So there is a problem in the specific laptop. The connection is via USB port and in the properties of the printer, to the ports section, everything is fine. Could you help me please?

Instead of the printer diagnostic tool lets try downloading and running the print and scan doctor located here:

It can fix a lot on its own and if not give a better idea of what is going on.

Runtime error for a office jet 4500 G510g

I have down loaded the divers for the Hp Officejet 4500 G510g, I get a runtime error Program:\users\nlmcka57\appdata\local\tep\71F\setup.exe. I have looked and down loaded some of the other links to see if it would fix it, to no aval it still won't work, stil get the same error. Any help would be helpful, Thank you.

Office Jet 4500 G510n Printer Ready but error comes up in status

I have a Office Jet 4500 G510n and a MacBook Pro 15 late 2006 Model 2, Ver 10.6.8
I upgraded the HD to a SSD and everything works find except the printer. I can go to Utility and the TEST PAGE prints OK.
However, on STATUS it reads: "error/library/Printers/hp/cups/inkjet1.driver/contents/macos/injet/failed
I have checked on drivers and all I saw were for the "extra Page" ...

From research on this HP Support site, I found that in Mac OSX they auto download updates for printing. Did not think about transfering my old HD to a SSD that those updates would follow... they did not. So... I downloaded all the updates (driver)to my new SSD and the HP Printer works!

Error on installing drivers for HP Officejet 4500 G540n

After changing the printer cartridges in the printer it would not print, saying that the print spooler was not running. After several attempts to restart spooler, I uninstalled the print drivers, and then tried to reinstall them. I was given an error 'The remote procedure call failed' and was unable to finish the installation. How can I fix this problem.

"File Corrupt" error when opening Driver software for OfficeJet 4500 G510n-z

I'm trying to reinstall the software for my OfficeJet 4500 G510n-z printer and I have downloaded the drivers from the HP support site multiple times. Each time I try to open the file I get an error of "File is Corrupt" and it stops opening. I was able to eventually install the printer but not the HP Solution Software.
I am running 64-bit Windows 7.
As you can see below, I have the printer installed but not the Solution Center. How can I add the Solution Center?

Why does my new hp 4500 G510n-z printer have a script error 2107 + won't print a page from on line?

Good day to everyone.
The new hp 4500 G510n-z is connected to an hp Pavilion dv7 laptop using windows 7, 64 bit.
I can copy and paste the on line item into microsoft word and print it, but if I attempt to print the same item directly from the on line source I get " error has occurred inscript on this page"

                               " Char 1"
                               "Error: Unspecified error"
                               "Code 0"
                               "URL res:// ieframe.dll/preview.js"
                               " Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?"
How can I work around this problem?
This hp pavilion dv7 laptop has worked with hp officejet printers such as 5510, 5600, and 7210 for the past two years and I do not recall having this problem.
The problem seems to have arrived with the set up of the new hp 4500 officejet printer to my computer.
Please help solve this problem.
