Bring it in for service. Anytime hardware test detects an error, that's an indication the service department needs to fix it.

Did you run this test with the MacBook Pro plugged to the charger? If not, do that. It looks like the MacBook Pro wasn't plugged to the charger -

Indicates a sensor on the logic board has failed. Make an appointment at an Apple store to confirm. You can also try an SMC reset, then run the Apple Hardware test again:

Please, I am new to this site. How can I solve this error message after running the Hardware test: " 4SNS/1/40000001: VPOR-0.878"?
That error indicates that there is a faulty sensor in your MBP. You will have to take your MBP to an Apple store genius bar for a repair.

It looks like you ran Apple Hardware Test without plugging the MacBook to the charger. It's normal to see an error if you run Apple Hardware Test without your Mac plugged.
Plug the MacBook Pro to its charger and run Apple Hardware Test again -
Hardware error 4SNS/1/40000001 TB0T-9.597 MBP early 2013
My 15" retina Macbook Pro OSX 10.8.5 suddenly went black - seems as if it is shutting down the screen, including an external monitor connected via mini-display port. This happened suddenly with no particular reason and repeated in different configurations, on mains and on battery. I was afraid the graphics hardware had completely quit but it seemed temperature related. After a few minutes it would start for 2 or 3 minutes then sleep. Without the fan going on and not particularly hot, it seems to be going into sleep. Even cool, I had to put it in the freezer to get it to complete a basic hardware test.
Can anyone help me understand what error 4SNS/1/40000001:TB0T-9.597 means?
I suspect it is a temperature sensor? Is this repairable? The machine is 14 months old and apple wants over $50 just to talk to me on the phone. I have tried setting "sleep" to never in the Energy Saver settings, resetting the PRAM etc. It will start in safe mode. Hopefully I can keep it cool enough to get it through a detailed hardware test and get more information...
I have 4 different MacBooks and I've never seen this. Any help would be much appreciated. It is a sensor error. It is repairable: make a Genius Appointment and take it in for service. Do this ASAP to prevent damage to the computer.

Bluetooth failure - hardware error 4SNS/1/40000001:TB1T-0.000
I was installing updates in my computer and suddenly the bluetooh icon started to fail, I noticed that a red led was on (in the mic input), but after restarting it was off, I tried the hardware test and I got the error 4SNS/1/40000001:TB1T-0.000, so I also tried:
- Reseting PRAM & NVRAM
- Reseting SMC
- Deleting the com file of the bluetooth in the Library folder
But the hardware error is the same, I also noticed that when I test the stereo sound the left speaker volume is very low.
My computer is still with guaranty so I'll request the replace of the bluetooth chip and speakers.
Don't waste your time if you did the hardware test and you receive this error message, none of the soft advices you'll find in this forum will work, just replace.
What I'd like to know if it is better to send the computer or the replace the chip by myself, I saw some youtube videos and it looks very easy, and honestly I don't like how the technical service treats the computers.
Thanks in advance for the advice,Dear all, after some reboots, and honestly I don´t know which of the previous soft advices was, but my bluetooth is now working.
Just as a extra comment, the mighty mouse bluetooth is the best i ever had, works for Windows Vista better than in OS X. This genius idea of having the right and left button options in one button is very awesome.

Hello Everyone,
I am in dire need of assistance I am hoping someone could provide. I have a MacBook 4,1 with Intel Core 2 Duo processor 4GB Ram. It is taking over 10 minutes to boot up past the gray apple screen when I turn it on. First I cleared the PRam (?) then I checked the disk using Disk Utility Verify, and it said the disk needed repairs. So I ran the disk repair and it said it was unable to fix the errors on the HD.
I did a little research and tried booting into the Single User mode, then running /sbin/fsck -fy. It said that it found errors but could not fix them. I ran it two more times as suggested and got the same result each time. I then tried rebooting and now instead of taking 10 minutes to boot up, it takes about 5 minutes on the gray apple screen and then just turns off. I started in Verbose mode to try to troubleshoot the error and it appears the last thing to come across the screen before power down is a message "Apple Yukon 2: RxRingSize <= 1024....etc".
I decided next I would run the Apple Hardware Tester. The test came back with an error code "4SNS/1/40000001:IG0C-0.265". I am very good at searching the web but I could not find any errors that had the IG0C or IGOC or any combination at the end, but plenty of 4SNS/1/40000000(1) errors with different endings. From what I can tell people are saying anything with 4SNS/1/4000000 is a logic board failure, but this computer was literally just booting this morning until I did the /sbin/fsck -fy.
Any suggestions are welcome and appreciated.
Thank you for your time. You've a couple of issues .... when Disk Utility tells you it can't repair a drive, if the error is a soft error, like an invalid tree or node, Disk Warrior (or TechTool Pro) can handle it. However, if Disk Warrior (or TechTool Pro) can't handle it, you can erase and write zero's to the hard drive and restore to it, or you can buy a new hard drive. Sometimes running SMART Utility can provide additional insight into the health of the hard drive.
THe 4SNS error is a sensor error. You could install iStat Pro to see if something is indeed getting too hot or remaining room temp or less. You may need to take it into an Apple shop so they can use their thermal diagnostics to test and isolate it further.
