Thank you for the help, however the cleanup tool didn't work for me, still came up with the exact same error #5.
I have also posted back to 'Midnight Paladin' to find out what steps he took to make his registration data accessible and to re-enter the old serial # as I believe I too may have the same issue as it is an upgrade license from v2 that I have. I'm hope I get this working soon....

The problem is now fixed. Apparently it was corrupted or otherwise inaccessible data in the registration database; I had to enter my old serial number (the one I upgraded from) again, but otherwise no ill effects.

Are you sure that that was the complete wording of the error message? Usually an error number or other information is also included.

I'm Running a pc with windows 7 and have an ipad 2 plus a ipod tuch which are synked to my computer. I Have a problem i hope someone can help me since i updated my my itune my files have showing up with the wrong names and ive been unable to sighn in to my account and keep getting this error code (11556) i dont know what it means any help would be greatly appreciated and my Thanks in advance cheers

This alert occurs when iTunes is trying to do something not allowed by the iTunes Store in that country.
The most common example of this is trying to sign in while limited to iTunes U by Parental Controls.

I am getting error message windows saying "ininstall set" constantly. How can I fix this problem
When I opened Firefox4 today it opened with an add-on page and an error message box with an exclamation point saying "uninstall set". I can do nothing in Firefox until I close these windows. This seems to occur on things that can be clicked on to open information.

It sounds like your email provider could have got a denial from gmail because the amount of emails to them made them suspicious.

Send one email to this mnort.... and see if it gets returned. -
On Creative Cloud,Photoshop CC Trial (or any other Adobe programs) does not download , States "Download error Press Retry to try again... (49)". How can I resolve this?
Try logging out of the CC Application and restarting your computer. Also, try running the CC app as an administrator.

On my iPad 2 I can nolonger view maps. It says there are JavaScript errors. How can I fix this problem?
First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes." -
I am running Windows 7 and have tried to install iCloud. No matter what instructions I follow, I still get the error message "This Apple ID is valed but is not an iCloud account." How can I resolved this?
I've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. I receive the follwing error message when trying to open my ipod touch/itunes "the itunes libary.itlfile is lockedon a lockdisk or you do not have write permission on this file. How do I resolve this problem?
Repair iTunes Security Permissions
Right-click on your main iTunes folder and click Properties, then go to the Securitytab and click Advanced. Use the Change Permissions... button grant to your account (or the Users group) and SYSTEM full control of this folder, subfolders and files, then tick the option to Replace permissions entries... which will repair permissions throughout the library. When complete switch to the General tab, click in the Read-only check box to clear it, then click Apply.
If you don't have the option to change the permissions then use the Owner tab and Edit... button to take ownership from an account with administrator privileges. Tick the option to Replace owner on subcontainers and objects.
Repeat with the media folder if it isn't stored inside the main iTunes folder.
If you've brought over the library from another computer you may also want to remove any "mystery" identities (S<string of dashes & digts>) that have come over from the old computer...

Start by rebooting the computer. If that doesn't work, search for adobefnt*.lst and delete all instances where * becomes a 2-digit number.

In 2012, I bought Photoshop CS6 Extended (education edition) for Mac. Now I want to install it on my new Macbook. I have the correct serial number and product code, but I receive an error message: the software may be a false copy etc....What to do?

IOS error messagge - I keep getting the following message when I try to update my iPad2 - unable to install update, an error occurred installing IOS 8.1.2. How can I fix this?
Which way are you trying to update? WiFi or iTunes? In either case, I would try restarting/rebooting all devices and then try again.
IF you are using iTunes, eject your iPad, quit iTunes, reboot your computer and reset your iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons until the Apple logo appears on the screen. After the iPad starts up, connect to iTunes and try again. You may also want to disable your firewall and antivirus software when you try to update using iTunes. Sometimes those will interfere with the download.
If you are using WiFi, reset the iPad as described above and try again.
If WiFi updating will not work, try using iTunes, if iTunes will not work, try using WiFi.

Single pdf lose text when merged with muliple
I have 24 single PDF files made from word documents. They are all great until I merge them into one PDF file. Then I have several that lose text. I have remade that single files after deleting the old ones and recreated the merge, still same problem.
