Yes Peter It seems to happen as the help files are loading.
It gives an error report which says that it will send next time
I connect to the internet--however it doesn't seem to do this.

1603 error: Fatal error during installation. I installed InDesign CS4 on my new computer. Tuned off firewall and antivirus. Restarted computer. All programs closed. Tried several times and still get the error. I can run the program but some features are missing.

Can't get back into the discussion to give you an approval.
I did go to "uninstall or change a program" and was able to run the
troubleshooter. The program seems OK, but will have to use to see what
is missing. Thank you for the suggestion. I'm signed into the discussion
but don't know how to conclude as there is no reply button.

Error When Installing InDesign CS3 - Trial

Hello,
I am on a Compaq PC with vista.
Yesterday I downloaded the trial version of InDesign and tried to install it. It only installed the "shared components" and I got a failure message for everything else. I called tech support - which didn't go very well. They just said I should purchase the software.....(which I would love to do after I make sure it works and is what I need.
I installed successfully the trial version on my husbands computer today -- and ideas on why it won't install on my brand new computer...

last I buy and install web suite cs5 .. now I would have a look to indesign - and try to install the trial indesign cs 5 and get the following mistake (I reinstall, clean registry with tuneup .. install new and get the same error)

I installed indesign CS5 on new macbook pro and keeps freezing with spinning wheel once the app opens. Is there an issue with OS Mav or font issue or a plist I can pull. All other Adobe products work.

Migration should never be done with any Adobe program.
If you have done Migration, you have to UNINSTALL first (if even possible) and then download Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool and run that also. When this is done, restart your computer and install the programs from an original Adobe Installer.
Other question is, if your OS is supporting that version. You can try it, it is not officially supported, but it might work.
But CC will work, upgrade to CC2014 (without additional cost), use that as it is better anyway.

Installing InDesign CS5 Trial

Hi All
I'm tryting to install the InDesign CS5 trial, every thing works OK right up untill it starts copying the files, as which point I get lots of errors all seeming to relate to a 64bit OS.
Im running 32bit Vista OS with the latest updates and service pack installed.
Does anyone have any ideas how to solve this issue?

Error when install Infrastructure 10g 10.1.2 in Windows2000 server

My environment:
RDBMS Version: 10.1.0.3.1
Operating System and Version: Windows2000 SP4
Product (i.e., OAS, IAS, etc): 10g AS Release 2
Product Version: 10.1.2
JDK Version: 1.4
I have the folowing error when installing the Infrastructure (in the stage of SSO Configure Assistant):

I don't know much about the 10g Releases yet but I had the same error with 9.0.2.3. The problem is that OID isn't available when it needs to be.
When you get the error, start OID using the command line then try running the config assistant again.

If so, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleApplicationSupport.msi to do a standalone AAS install.
Does it install properly for you?
If instead you get an error message during the install, let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

My computer was working perfectly with Win7 for about 2years until I formatted on monday to clean a little bit my drives ... Since then I'm unable to install windows again. I have the 0x80070570 error.
The complete error message is:
Windows cannot install required files. The file may be corrupt or missing. Make sure that all files required for installation are available and restart the installation. Error code:0x80070570.
What is the 0x80070570 error when installing Win7 or Win8 or Win 8.1 on a clean SSD/HDD ?! These versions are full from MSDN.
What I did already:
check my RAM (16go gskill)
remove unnecessary hard drives
replace my "old" SSD with a clean new one
remove my sound cards
remove the mouse and use only keyboard
reset the BIOS
check every LED on the motherboard (asus sabertooth z77) and there is no problem
What are the problems?

Hi,
If all images cannot be installed, we have a reason to suspect the hardware cause.
If you use two memory slots to get 16G RAM, I suggest you test with just one (8G) to check the result.
