Is this related to a single machine or common to a single report or is it purely random?
I did a search on your behalf and came up with nothing related to this error. You may therefore need to raise the problem with Oracle Support.
Just out of curiosity which version of Discoverer are you using?

I'm getting the following error message in my disco plus report.
"An error occured while attempting to perform this action. The operation did not complete successfully.
Extra Internal info:

Cause:OLException {
Code: OLCmRefException::eNullRef
Args: OLCmRefException::eNullRef
I have searched the forum but have found no usefull information for me.
The problem occured when I added a calculation to woorkbook that was working perfectly fine before. Now I can't even remove any item or calculation (or anything) from the worksheet.
I then edited the calculation to just show "1" instead which allowed me to remove that certain calculation, but I can still not remove any item.
Please ask if more details are needed.
What can have caused this problem, and is there a way to solve it? Do I have to redo the entire report?

We encountered this issue with our 10.1.2.54.25 installation on a Solaris OS. We are currently at CP3. We have tried CP4, 5, 6 and 7. No resolution. Oracle has replicated our issue assigned a bug # and say that they have found a fix but it will not be made available until the release of 10.1.2.3 CP2. We have requested a one-off patch for 10.1.2.54.25 CP7. They are currently thinking about it. We have been hung up since Feb. '08 and not be able to resolve any bugs because of this problem.

Como reinstalar iphoto sin disco en mac

Tengo instalado iphoto'11 y no se abre debido a un error. No tengo disco para reinstalarlo e Intento reinstalar desde appstore donde me aparece como comprado, pero me dice que no puede porque lo tengo instalado. ¿Debo desinstalarlo primero?, y ¿desaparecerán las fotos que tengo?. Gracias.

Current status of o365 API

I've run up the ExchangeClientDemo from demo's, connected to my o365 account using connected services and set all the permissions. I can also see the App Properties.
When I walk through the code at DiscoveryResourceAsync("https://outlook.office365.com") I get an error but the DiscoveryContext 'disco' has a clientid, secret and redireturi. The error that I get is that "The browser must be redirected to a
new URL", the redirecturi looks like this {/ee281089-ffd1-4828-8766-190ec887c419.axd} in the AppIdentity.<o:p></o:p>
The redirecturi shows the following error<o:p></o:p>
AbsolutePath = '((Microsoft.Office365.OAuth.DiscoveryContext<Microsoft.Office365.OAuth.SessionCache>)(disco)).AppIdentity.RedirectUri.AbsolutePath' threw an exception
of type 'System.InvalidOperationException'
I'm not sure if this is something that I havnt done right in the connection setup of if it has something to do with changing api functionality?

Discoverer viewer export option

Hi All,
When i am using the export to reports XML format option i am getting error that is due to some cross tab error.
Help me out to overcome this error.

Custom formatting from Disco does not appear in Excel. I always forget whether Disco does not export the formats, or if Excel ignores them (or both).
I think there are a few other threads where people have exported to HTML, imported the HTML into Excel, and had the formatting preserved.

Por qué mi iMac no funciona?

Lo tengo hace sólo unos meses y ya se le ha roto el disco duro. Dejó de arrancar, el disco duro se ha roto y he perdido todo lo que tenía. Como está en garantía me lo han cambiado por otro. Según lo traigo del servicio técnico con un HD nuevo empiezo a instalar mis programas y oh sorpresa ... no paran de fallar las instalaciones y .... vuelve a quedarse colgado!
Decido reinstalar el SO y ... nueva sorpresa, falla!!!!! Está borrado el disco duro, con particiones nuevas y falla!!! Mac OSX could not been installed. Muy bien!!! Qué hago, por que lo que quiero es devolverlo y recuperar mi antiguo portatil con mi pinguino!!!

Que te hagan todos los cambios que sea necesario para que se solucione el problema. Hazlos responsables de todo el proceso hasta que tu equipo funcione bien, para eso es la garantía.
Por mi parte te puedo decir que el único problema para en que he necesitado soporte físico en casi tres años de tener mi MacBook se solucionó perfectamente en dos días. Si sientes que tienes muchos problemas deberías de ir a otro centro de servicio porque puede que es que estés yendo trabaje mal.

No reconoce tarjeta SD-HC

Mi portatil Lenovo G50-70 con Windows 8.1 no reconoce la tarjeta que utilizo en la cámara. Es una tarjeta SanDisk Ultra II SD HC de 4gb.

Mi ordenador, un G5070, venía de fábrica con Windows 8.1 instalado. He instalado ese controlador que has puesto pero sigue sin reconocer ese tipo de tarjetas.Esta tarjeta SD la utilizo desde hace años en una cámara Nikon y en mi anterior notebook Samsung con Windows XP sin problemas. Porque mi pc se demora mas de 10 minutos en arrancar y luego se resetea

despues del cargue iniacial me aparecen las opciones de la pagina para utilizar el pc pero a pesar que el puntero del mouse se puede mover, al darle clic a alguna aplicacion esta no responde. Problem installing discoverer applet

Hi All,
The applet for discoverer gets installed on some clients without any problem but on most of other clients it just refuses to do that. Sometimes it throws NullPointerException error and sometimes it just don't say anything. Is there any exe to manually install the applet on a client or is there some better solution for this problem??

Disco for Oracle Apps with Scheduling not in Apps ~ Throws Error ORA-06502

Hi All,
I have had an SR with Oracle for almost 1/2 year now to set-up scheduling with the scheduling schema not being Apps. They have not been able to fix this yet.
I have used note 757831.1. When I try to set-up a schedule that is recurring, the following error is thrown: ORA-06502.
Does any one have a success story associated with setting-up scheduling in a Disco Oracle Apps end user layer where the scheduling schema is not apps?

Pl do not post contents of MOS Docs publicly - this violates terms of your support contract.
We were successful in doing this with Disco 4i a long time ago. I am assuming the process is the same for 10g. Pl see if these MOS Docs can help. Pl post the complete error message.

Disco Viewer/+/Admin/Desktop errors out with Invalid Username and Password

Hi All,
We have set up a demo environment at work to upgrade to R12 with Vision database. Discoverer Admin is patched to this level: 10.1.2.2 (Path#4960210) with EBS patch 5985072. The iAS on linux box which is running Discoverer server is patched with same 10.1.2.2 as well. So client and server are at the same level. I followed Note 373634.1 - Using Discoverer 10.1.2 with Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 to integrate Discoverer 10.1.2 with E-Business Suite Release 12 and copied over vis.dbc file to the client (C:\oracle\BIToolHome_01\secure) and also copied the same file to $BI_ORACLE_HOME/discoverer/secure folders. So far so good. I can connect to disco plus/admin/desktop using sysadmin or any other users shipped out of box with R12 VIS instance. A default apps EUL_US exist with some business area and workbooks. I can run them without any issues.
My problem is any FND users that I create cannot login via Plus/desktop/admin. I get the error username/password is invalid. I can login with this newly created user to apps no problem. I can see this user in discoverer when logged in as SYSADMIN and I granted all the privileges(admin as well) necessary. Also, any user shipped in VIS instance if updated (password changed or responsibility added) stops working and throws the same error.
What could be going wrong ?
I did look at this thread and have done all that is suggested by Michael and Rod west.

Hi,
Check whether there are any signon system profile options set. For example, case sensitive passwords set in the system profiles can cause a problem because Discoverer does not support them.
Also try doing a connection trace on Discoverer Desktop to see how far the connection attempt progresses. Follow Metalink Note 329898.1 for instructions.

Disco 4i Error 'This user requires Create Any Materialized View Sys Priv'

Hi,
Firstly I will say we are late with moving to Disco 10g, fully understood and constantly remind people of need to upgrade.
Oracle Apps 11i instance, we have upgraded the database 10g.
In Disco 4i Admin, Import folder from Database, we receive Error Message:
*'This user requires Create Any Materialized View System Priviledge'*
Have spoken to number of our DBA's but been unable to resolve this. I have read loads of stuff about similar issues, but no direct hits really help me.
I am guessing we need to logon as SYSTEM db user and execute
h5. SQL> grant create materialized view to <username>;
h5. SQL> grant alter any materialized view to <username>;
Please can anyone advise, I am sure it's going to be a DB/Schema owner, as the username; i.e. APPS or EUL_US?
I cannot see it being the fnd_user for the Disco EUL owner, e.g. SYSADMIN or PatStock.

Hi,
If you are doing the import as SYSADMIN then you are connected as APPS so this is the database user that needs additional privilege.
However, the APPS user only needs create materialized view privileges if there are manually created summary folders in the EUL, i.e. summary folders based on materialized views. If you are not using these then the privilege is not required.
The EUL_US user just needs to give Discoverer Administrator privileges to the SYS_ADMIN user. Nothing else should be needed.
