Error -50 when trying to sync music

trying to import music to my iPhone 6. i keep getting a error could not be synced with the error code -50. any help would be great. Thank you

You seem to have tried everything, and you say it's syncing fine on your Dad's iMac, so I assume, you have also  done a Disk Diagnostic from an earlier post by tt2 and conclude that your iPod Hardisk is good.
You don't have to use it as a heavy paperweight, the problem is only using your Windows 7 machine for syncing.
In your troubleshooting steps, did you try to use another High-Speed USB 2.0 port, USB controller resource are very scarce, so if you use other USB devices, while syncing your iPod, it may just freeze.
Windows have a bad reputation for device conflict, so better don't connect other  USB devices, while syncing, better sync it while disconnected from Internet, stop antivirus just before you go to bed.
Have a nice day!

  • Error 13019 when trying to sync music on iPod nano

I've had my iPod nano for over a year, and just a few days ago, it has started to show me this error message
whenever I try to add or remove music from my iPod.. Althought I've looked and it seems to be a somewhat common problem among Apple users, the instructions many have posted and the instructions in the Apple support section are not help to me. According to Apple support, to fix this problem you must:
Select the device name  in iTunes under Devices.
Click the Music tab and under the Sync music option, choose Selected playlists.
    Deselect the Voice Memos playlist.
Click Apply and then click Sync.
However, I do not have the "sync music" option checked,
and I control my music manually. By checking this box and re-syncing my iPod, I would lose a lot of  the music on my iPod already. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong section?
Does any one have another option or any ideas?

Some have been able to resolve it by removing podcasts and/or rebuilding their iTunes library.

  • Error message when trying to sync music video

I just got my new 80 GB iPod to finally work (another story there) but when it started to sync, I got a message that said it couldn't copy the one music video I purchased off of iTunes onto the iPod because it can't play on the iPod. I have the iPod classic, 80 GB video iPod.
    What's the problem?

Unfortunately, I don't think any of those solutions will work. The video won't play on my computer either, but I think that's because I don't have Quicken, or whatever is needed to watch videos from iTunes. Maybe that's what I need to do? Download the appropriate software to play the video on my computer?

If the file was not originally from iTunes, you'll need to redownload it from it's original source or rerip it from the CD.  Files can sometimes go bad and become corrupted.  As to how or why that happens, there are a number of ways.
What format are the problematic tracks in? Have you tried converting them to another format in iTunes?

Restart your computer and the iPhone. Press & hold the Power and Home buttons together for 10+ seconds, ignoring the red power-off slider, until you see the Apple logo. It is safe to do, there should be no content loss. It is the same as rebooting your computer.

  • When I start my computer I get a "AppleSyncNotifier.exe Entry Point Not Found message.  I also get an error message when trying to sync with iTunes that a backup session cannot be started.  How do I fix this?

In the last few days when I start my computer, I get a box that opens with "AppleSyncNotifier.exe" Entry Point Not Found in the title.
It says:  "The procedure entry point sqlite3_wal_checkpoint could not be located in the dynamic link library SQlite3.dll.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes and still get an error message when trying to sync my phone with iTunes
"iTunes could not back up iPhone ####, because a session could not be started with the iPhone."
The last time I tried to sync my phone (iPhone 3G S) with iTunes, everything seemed to freeze up at Stage 4 of the sync process.
    Any advice????

With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Reboot and see if all is well
In case that your OS is Windows 7 (64 bit)
    1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
    2. Copy file "SQLite3.dll"
    3. Open new windows explorer, to to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
    4. Paste file "SQLite3.dll" to the location.
    5. Reboot your computer, it should not display that message, it should be clear.
    Good Luck

  • I get error OxE80000084 when trying to sync my I Pod classic to I Tunes

I get error OxE80000084 when trying to sync my Ipod classic to iTunes, what do I do?

    Hello aztecc16,
The following articles provide some useful troubleshooting steps and information that can help get your iPod to work correctly with your computer.
iPod not recognized in My Computer and in iTunes for Windows
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1369
iPod: Appears in Windows but not in iTunes
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1363
Also, while the following article is tailored for iOS devices, it does contain some further information and troubleshooting should you still be having issues getting your iPod to work with your computer.
    1. Restart your computer.
    2. Install the latest version of iTunes.
    3. Verify that your computer meets the minimum system requirements. iOS devices require the following minimum version of Windows:
    Windows XP Service Pack 3
    Windows Vista
    Windows 7
    Windows 8
    4. Download and install any available software updates from Microsoft.5. Connect the device directly to your computer; not to an external USB hub. Find out if your computer has USB 2.0 ports.6. Check that the Dock Connector or Lightning Connector on both the device and cable are clean of any lint or other debris. If possible, connect your device using a different Apple 30-pin to USB cable or Apple Lightning Connector to USB cable.7. Disconnect other USB peripherals from your computer, with the exception of your keyboard and mouse. After disconnecting these peripherals, restart your computer, connect your device, and open iTunes.8. Connect your device to a different USB port on your computer.9. Use the Task Manager to stop some Apple Services:
    Launch the Task Manager:
For Windows XP: Press Control + alt + delete on the keyboard.
For Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8: Press Control + alt + delete on the keyboard. Then click "Start Task Manager". If Windows needs your permission to continue, click "Continue".
Click the Processes tab of the Task Manager. End each of these three processes by clicking in their names and choosing "End Process":
    iTunesHelper.exe
    AppleMobileDeviceService.exe
    iPodService.exe
After ending these processes, reboot your computer, open iTunes, and test.
    10. Connect your device to a different computer to determine whether the issue is specific to your computer.
