I am using Hyperion reports to connect to a Hyperion Planning application. I noticed then I select only one member from this dimension, I do not get this error message and I get the report as what I wanted but if I select level 0 or descendants from the dimension, I get the error. I have applied some suppression to the rows and this form grid is also extracting some cell text information.
Please help. thanks.

I did a full refresh from planning to essbase and I still got that error. It seems to happen to only a certain branch of the dimension.
Is there a way to select level 0 of a particular branch of the dimension? (similar to calc script @relative() function)
The error message does not appear if I select only one member and the dimension I am reporting is huge, too tedious to hunt down the errant member/branch.

when I run the report on Financial Reporting. It gives the same error when run on Workspace.
Have you guys encountered this error before? What are the best ways to tackle it? Help is much appreciated guys.

Edit 1 - I tried to simplify the parameters but I still get the same error making me suspect that the issue is not the 100000 row issue.

1.Edit \Hyperion\common\ADM\<version>\lib\ADM.properties as follows:
From MAX_ROW_NUMBERS=100000 to MAX_ROW_NUMBERS=500000
If you are running extremely large reports, you can increase the limit.
2.Restart Reporting and Analysis services.
For version 11.1.2.x
The path of ADM.properties file in these versions should be located under:
%Oracle_Home%\Middleware\EPMSystem11R1\commo\ADM\11.1.2.0\lib

FR reports error-5200: Error executing query

I'm working on FR-11.1.1.3.0238 version. i'm facing issues with some of the reports related to planning application db while launching reports in workspace. Where as the reports are opening with out any issues in FR studio and there is no error message recorded in the studio.The error message is recorded in the workspace related log file.
I thought that there might be any pov corruption issue so i ran the ManageUserPov utility as well but there is no luck.
Let me know the cause of this error message and also the resolution for it.

Neeraj,
In the FR report server the settings are as you suggested except the TcpTimedWaitDelay = 60, this setting is set to 30.
The same settings are there in Essbase and Planning servers.
So i would like to know what exactly is all about the setting and the possible cause of the problem. It would be very helpful if i can get the cause.

Error in while Executing Query in the Query Designer

I created info Set based two info object and three Data Store Objects. and join condition is Left Outer Join.
there are Business Partner info object, CRM BP Sales View Info Object and Data Store Objects are BP: Roles (0BP_ROLE),Partner: Industries(0BP_IS),CRM Marketing Attributes for Business Partner(0ATR_DS01)
I given some Selection Parameters while executing query in the Query Designer. in That i given city is selection parameters
and i creted variable for this info object.

While reading the data mistakes have appeared. Navigation is possible
The value " New of Delhi " from sign 0CITY40 contains a mistake at the 10.ten place
and i think you need to run the change run and run the report with out selecting the variable option.and navigate in the report by filtering the report for your requirement.

Getting error when we execute query in RSRT1

Hi Gurus,
I Loaded Transaction data in "0CCA_C11" cube and also loaded master data too.
but when i execute query in RSRT1 i am getting error message
1) Could not enter feature 0COSTCENTER__0PROFIT_CTR with SID 133 into table /BI0/SIOBJNM
2)System error in program CL_RSR and form GET_CHANMID-02- (see long text)
3)Error when generating dataProvider.
For 0COSTCENTER i loaded master data but for '0PROFIT_CTR' i am unable to load Hierarchy data because still the request is yellow even showing 58 from 58 records.
can any once can help me to soleve this issue.

There is one query which was working fine initially but sudeenly after making some changes it is giving the error message

This internal error is a targeted termination since the program has an
incorrect status.
I tried RSRT but it still does not help, giving the same message.
Please advise is there any other way to get this query working again.

Thanks for your reply. I am able to access the query definition in the Bex analyser and I am able to execute it till the selection screen but after that it gives me the message:

Then I change the query to:

    Recently we went for BW upgradatiaon (BI7.0) , the error you are facing could be due to the following issue,
    If infoobjects are used in infoset as infoprovider ( in BW3.5) after upgrade this infoobjects will not be selected automatically as infoproviders. So it will not be available for Infoset.
Please check whether any infoobjects are used as infoprovider, if so manually change them as infoprovider ( In BI7) and activate.
Since, few reports are working on the infoset , this could be those reports are not using the fields from the infoobjects. so it is working it seems.

Problem in accessing the Hyperion Financial Reports.User is having full access and able to access all the folders except one folder(Legal Folder reports). We are getting 5200: Error Executing the query error. Recently we have upgraded Hyperion to 11.1.1.3 version . Before upgrade user is not facing the problem. After Upgrade user is getting these errors while accessing the reports. we did research and found in "Error 5200: Error Executing Query" When Viewing Financial Reporting (FR) Reports". Is this error is relevant to the Information provided in Metalink and also can you please tell us is there any impact on doing the solution provided in the below. Why is this error is coming is any preferences needs to be changed.Please help us on this.

Possible Cause 1:
If members have recently been added, moved, or deleted from the data source, Essbase, HFM, or Planning, the existing User POV records become out of sync.
The User Point of View record uses indexing to identify the member. If the index changes because of changes in the outline, the User Point of View record no longer points to the correct location in the outline.
To resolve the issue, you need to run the ManageUserPOV utility on a Windows server that has the Financial Reporting Reports Server, or in a Unix or Linux environment, has the Financial Reporting Print Server installed.
You will need to provide a BIPlus Global Administrator user ID and password to run the utility.
The utility will provide the correct syntax to run the command.
1. In \Hyperion\products\biplus\bin\ManageUserPOV.properties, specify the following parameters:
a. ReportServer
b. DatasourceUser
c. DatasourcePassword
d. User
e. Datasource (You can find the datasource in Workspace under Tools>Database Connection Manager in the Name column.)
2. From the command line, cd to Hyerion\products\biplus\bin
3. Type in "ManageUserPOV" without the quotes. The executable will read the parameters previously set in the ManageUserPOV.properties file.

I would recommend you to open you report/grid via rep.client and try to find which elements are abcent

This was due to an invalid default Point of View for the user that was incompatible with the particular report.
Change the Preferences to User Point of View Preview and run the report again.
File > Preference > Financial Reporting > Select Preview "ON" under USer Point of View box.
Re-run the report and select the desired POV.
This will prompt the user to change their POV every time he or she opens a report. They can select the correct POV and the report runs correctly.
You can turn off later. Let me know if it fixed this issue.

Did anything change on the database side? Alias, member name? "Error executing query" usually is associated with a change in the database.

I'm getting the following error message when running a Hyperion report:

A report is running for some dimensions, but not others. What causes this error?

most of the 5200 errors I have seen are related to a POV issue. Do you have any dimensions that are on POV?
If yes, login to Workspace > File > Preferences > Financial Reporting > User Point of View > If it is Off, select ON, click OK. Log off and log back in. Try to run the report and see if the issue is still there.
