Error 80029564 game update/download install
I got Modnation Racers today and it asks to be updated to 1.11. I download the update and then it automatically installs but finishes with "An error occurred during the install operation" 80029564.
After the error I deleted the download and tried again with no luck, I also restarted the PS3 and reset my router but I still get the install error. I still have 107GB free on my HDD

Impossible to update, error 104 other updates are installing?
I have 2 updates waiting, but when I try install them I get following error;
Other updates are installing error 104.
But nothing else is installing anything for the moment?

[Solved]Update Download/Install Size
I just did a fresh install and did a pacman -Syu and the download size is 36mb, but the install size is 100mb. What is being compressed that much. This is from a 2008.3 RC3 core iso. Its updating things like kernel26 and mkinitcpio. Do those come really compressed, or do they create something larger when installed? I guess I never really paid attention to the install size...

Yeah, but that could cause the problem in the other direction, like there :

There is also the fact that packages already downloaded dont appear in total download size. But if you are doing -Su, this does not apply.
There is also xdelta, but this is not used.
So basically, I can't explain what you are seeing. -
Hash error on app update download
Keep geeting hash mismatch error on Mac App Store down load of my webcam broadcaster app on both of my Macs.
Deleted the app and the update problem went away.

I keep getting errors when I try to update Download Assistant; how do I fix it?
I am a Creative Cloud subscriber to version CS6.
When I double click the Download Assistant, I get a message that says there's an update available. So when I click to download and install the update, I get an error that says it didn't work because it's misconfigured. How do I fix this?

I uninstalled Firefox, but could never get the program to reinstall. I have been using Safari instead.
If the full message is similar to ''"Platform version <x.x.x.x> is not compatible with minVersion <x.x.x.x>"'', then do the following.

I recently did a system update and installed Yosemite on my Mac. Now I am unable to open CS5 at all. The error message I get is this: "To open Adobe Photoshop CS5.1, you need to install legacy Java SE 6 runtime." I have tried downloading this and it still gives me the same mess
In the details it is mentioned that it is an outdated version of Java.
Is this a security risk that i need to live with to get CS5 to run with Yosemite?
Also i need to reject messages from Java in the future about updates, or not?

Steve Jobs obviously was "the man" because every update or install now gives me problems... i can no longer download anything to my iphone.. giving me errors of "cannot install at this time" and i get an error installing itunes on my other laptop... wth is going on!??!
ok so the download problem with my iphone.. what could be the cause of that? ive restarted and deleted the "undownloaded app" over 10 times already. and restarted the iphone 10 times... next thing i know i cant install itunes on my laptop.... geez man..
obviously there is a fix which someone will help... but why should i have to go through all that crap to install a so called uncomplicated software... when you think about it this really shouldnt even be an issue.
normally if the thing dosent work. normally with most programs you just uninstall the uncompleted software and just reinstall and everything is usually good to go.. help!ive never had any problems with ap[ple products in the past... this is a first and a stupid problem if you ask me

iTunes auto-update dowloaded and installed on 28/01/2014. iTunes now won't launch and error message states file MSVCR80.dll is missing. Tried unistalling and downloading/installing again to no avail. Any clues?
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

The error 1009 error is normally associated with a blocked country. There are a list of countries that Apple is not allowed to sell their software to due to US restrictions

A recent update download upset my entire itunes program. Unable to use to sync iphone, ipad, etc nor run any other updates. Get runtime error message, Error 7 (windows error 1114) etc...and contact app support team. Says itunes not installed correctly, pls reinstall. tried to no avail.
First try updating to iTunes 11.1.5.5, using an installer downloaded from the Apple website:

I have two users on the IMac, and I resolve the problem by clearing all cookies on both users Safari, opening and closing the App Store for each user, shutting down and restarting the IMac for each user, until finally the download works. Write down the server addresses.

There may be privacy and technical issues involved in using that service, which you should investigate personally before you decide whether to keep the settings. Other public DNS services exist.
